I am wondering seeing that many comments claiming me using a straw. Of course it's an additional tool and not allowed. I explained it at 2:20 why I'm using it.

Some practical advice, put a written disclaimer on the screen. It can be difficult to understand spoken words, for example due to hearing impairments; or the video might be muted (if watching during a break at work). If you put up an on-screen caption saying: "I'm using a straw instead of my mouth so you can see better", you should prevent any misunderstandings.
Oh yeah suck on it just don't choke,because then you'd have a whole other problem
I thought it might rise if you get the red section spinning fast enough. Pressing down with two thumbs and torque it as best you can to get it spinning as fast as you can.

Hard to imagine that many silly folks... 1) you can't use other tools... 2) you can't move the outer base... give me a break.
My solution:
1. Pick my nose. Grab some sticky booger.
2. Put it on thumb then squeeze it on top of the red wood.
3. Pick the red wood up.
Don't know what you are capable to produce but must be a big one in my case.

Another solution is to put your lips on the red piece and suck while raising your head. So pretty much just hold onto the red piece with your lips to suck it out.

There are many solutions.
One is put salt, or fine sand, in the gap.
Then hit on the table next to it repeatedly.
The puzzle will shake, and the red piece will start to float on top of the salt.
First thing I tought was using water, but that was scrapped when you said you couldn't use any tools. Didn't think your breath would create enough boyancy/updraft for the red cylinder to float on, so I think this is a really cool puzzle
smash the table hard enough and newton's third law will cause it to jump out, maybe.
maybe you'll break your hand or a table but it ~could~ work.

You could also apply suction to the top (with your mouth, though that might not be so sanitary, or with something like a vacuum pump).
The first thing that came to my mind is "just add water". Wood floats. Pour some water inside the outer cylinder and the red one will pop up. :-)

I had this puzzle and i solved it using both of my thumbs. I pushed them together on the point of the cylinder With both thumbs adhered to The side points. It worked. I didn't even know about the other solutions. Thank you for sharing.
You can slight it at table just by Touching Red part. And slight it, over table.
UR87 you aren't allowed to move the brown part, it doesn't matter if you are touching red, you are still moving it

You're not allowed to use outside tools. He only used a straw because if he put his face up to puzzle to blow on the gap, he would be covering the camera so the straw helped the audience see. You really don't need the straw at all, blowing on it does just as good.

I think it may work just by simple blowing into it from the top. A combination of the wind strength, angle, and the width of the wind blow should act similarly to blowing through a straw.

Use the straw on the top of the cone, and use suction.
Or if the straw is not allowed, kiss the top of the red piece, and use suction to lift it out that way.

An interesting concept but I like my puzzles to have a bit more to them, more parts, something to work with. This one is a bit too inane for my taste. I am reminded of the puzzle with the two wooden paces held together from the inside by a little ball bearing. You had to shake the box in a certain direction to get the bearing to loosen from the magnet that it was stuck to. This one seemed more like a child's puzzle.
I also prefer puzzles that challenge me. :) Some are harder some are easier.

A somewhat less hygienic solution would be to make an 'o' with your lips and use it to create suction on the cone and lift it.
I was thinking to get the outside to be stuck to something so it doesn’t move, then use your finger to spin it around very fast and it climbs up the wall like water when spun in a bottle.
Use cellotape, blue tac or gum to stick to red cone and lift or use straw to suck vacuum on red cone and lift out!
I thought you'd spin the top to make it spin out
you could place the end of the straw over the apex of the cone, and provide suction through the other side. if the cone is well made the straw should make a good seal and it will be able to lift the red block
No, he specifically said you're not allowed to use tools... he only used the straw to blow into the puzzle (instead of directly with his mouth) to avoid blocking the camera's view with his head. If you're going to cheat with tools, you may as well just use a piece of scotch tape on the top, or some small kitchen tongs on the sides..
one of my friends brought this to school and the first thing i did was use my pointer finger and thumb and just pinch it out. it isn't hard to do it at all. you say it was impossible but i did it within 15 seconds. He seemed pretty amazed i could do that and then showed me how i was suppose to have solved it but i still prefer the simple way of just pulling it out with your fingers.
This one is great to play or prank on your friends in a pub, guaranteed mass fun lmao

I figured it out in like less than a second, I first thought that blowing on it might work but my next thought was using water, and my last idea was sucking on it with my lips or using tape. Another more rash idea of mine was to slam on the table but that's only if the rule is to not touch the cup and not to not move it.
1. use duck tape or any other sticky product like that to pull it out? tho that might be cheating but still
2. stick the whole puzzle to the table using tape or something similar, and flip the table or the thing it's sticked to
If number two would be the solution it would be a 5/5 for sure! :D

Mr Puzzle you can put your finger on the very tip of the rec cylinder and move it until it knocks over then grab it as its falling out. boom done.

@1:16, judging by the conical shape and the small gap around the red part, i reckon you should blow hard onto the red part.
The air will pass over the cone and down the gap and then behind it and knock your teeth out if you blow hard enough. Probably a good idea not to breathe in hard after blowing...

Another way would be to stick the cup to the table with bluetack and then pick the table up and turn it upside down :)
You can use sticky tape to stick it to it and pull out or see if you bang on the table and see will it bonce the red thing out

Agreed with air without straw and thumb. Also water and paper rolled around the inner section.
Use a stick glue put it on your finger and place your sticky finger on the red thingy and wait till the glue dries up, and gently pull it up without breaking the glue connected to your finger and the red thingy.
(This is another way to solve the puzzle easy, this honestly be a difficulty 1.)

Use an empty pop bottle. Put the mouth over the cone, then squeeze and release the bottle. It will create a vacuum and allow you to pull the cylinder out.

I don't know if I am correct but you can place one end of the straw on top of the conical part and suck the air out from the other one creating a vacuum which would pick up the smaller cylinder
This puzzle falls into the category of bar-bet puzzles. Or draw the line outside of the square dots genre of puzzle. i.e. Think outside the square. I don't know if I would call this a commercial puzzle. If it came supplied with a straw, and the instructions said you can use the straw, then it would be a commercial puzzle.

Hi Mr. Puzzle, this is very late in the day on this episode as I’m a newcomer to your channel, but another solution could be using one’s lips and suction. Love your channel.
Take your hand and make a loose fist. Close gaps between fingers to make your fist into a suction tube, then position it on top of the cone and create a vaccume by sucking air out with mouth, then, maintaining a vaccume, lift it out.
