In this video I repair a 4TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive with was not working. I decided to upload this anyway in case it has any useful info in it. Hope this can help someone.
Personally I would have at least created a disk image as soon as the drive became accessible. Don't know why the fuse failed and don't care at that stage of a data recovery job. The client obviously has no second copy so best you correct that at the first opportunity.

19:40 what did you change the temp to? and airflow?
