    I like the 2620 because it’s commercial rated, but as far as daily usage, the 2320 is the go to especially coming from an avid 225 user.

      Time to upgrade.

    Hey buddy great video they are both great trimmers the 2320T for the price you can't beat it for regular maintenance like we do here in Miami fla the 2320T works great we do 15 to 17 houses a day and its much less fatigue on me or my employees sholders and hands specially if your running a unit 8 hours a day on super hot and humid days which 90 percent of the time it is down here i have 3 2320T on the truck and a 2620T and a 3020T the guys always go get the 2320T cuz of its light weight we only use the bigger units when we have to clean out big brush but we barely have any of that here im planning on selling my 3020T cuz its heavy and just get another 2620T or a regular 2620. we are on our second year with the 2320T and we use them none stop all year around and they have been extremely reliable.

    The Shindaiwa 262T is a monster. Wider cut with than the Echo. Same feel, just wider cut with the Echo Black Diamond string.

    • @MattsRageFitGarage
      @MattsRageFitGarage Před rokem

      Yeah, I bought the 20" swath guard the Shindaiwa and SRM3020's come with and put it on my SRM-266. The 20" swath is real nice for trimming under fences. Gives up a little bit of power with the longer line, but much more useful overall.

  • @icemanrrc
    @icemanrrc Před 3 lety +7

    I bought a 2320T to replace my SRM-225 because of the same reason you had. When edging sidewalks, I even had the 225 spit hot oil on me. I had enough of that. The 2320T, for what it is, is a phenomenal unit. $50 more than the 225, I don’t see why anyone would want a 225. Plus, it’s rated for 300 hours rather than 50 hours for the 225. No brainer.

    • @icemanrrc
      @icemanrrc Před rokem +2

      @@irvim.9482 30% more torque, but the main thing is that it’s made with commercial grade components like chrome plated cylinders. Rated for 300 hours before service as opposed to the 225 that’s residential grade and rated for 50 hours. It doesn’t spit hot oil either.

      Has anyone had the chance to try out the Shindaiwa T235? It's the same as the SRM225 only with all of the upgraded features you have on the 2320T. The only difference is that the 2320T has the high torque head while the T235 has the standard head and a little better shaft and handle from the original Shindaiwa units. Not a fan of those high torque heads for weekly trimming. The spin too slow to get a quick and clean cut.

      Mine did too, and I removed a muffler gasket that seemed to function as a restrictor plate just after the spark arrestor screen. It still has a gasket there, but there was two with different size ports sandwiched together. I removed the one with the half size port.
      Trimmer now has much more low to mid range torque and better throttle response without adjusting the carb. It is still running a hair rich so there is more power there if I opened it up more or leaned out a hair.

  • @mossymaple
    @mossymaple Před rokem +1

    I see they sell a complete pas brush blade attachment pre assembled. . However they also sell a high torque pas attachment.with trimmer head ... but online it doesn't seem to specify if they sell a the high torque attachment with a brush kit already installed? The only brush kit I see is appears to be the the standard torque? Any thoughts? To me it would make sense to have the high torque attachment with the brush cutter if that's even possible or not idk? The BRUSH BLADE ON A 2620T MODEL THAT ALREADY HAS HIGH TORQ MUST BE ABLE TO ACCEPT HIGHER TORQUE WITH BRUSH BLADE, so that's why I'm asking if anyone may know if they sell the pas brush attachment with the option for standard torque and also high torque brush attachment option?

    Echo's Japanese website claims 0.97ps(horsepower) for their version of the 2320T and 1.35ps for their version of the 2620T. Just as you said, big difference between the two.

  • @WisconsinEric
    @WisconsinEric Před 2 měsíci +1

    Yesterday I pulled the muffler off my 2320T to check the exhaust port. It was 99.999% clean thanks to Red Armor but I noticed a second gasket between the spark arrester screen and the deflector. The second gasket appears to be a restrictor plate with the hole being half the size as the gasket it sits next to.
    I removed it and my 2320T makes far more low to mid range power than before, and it is still running a hair rich on 91octane ethanol-free without tuning the carb. The increase in power is very noticeable. Much better throttle response too.
    Have you noticed a similar restrictor plate type gasket between the spark arrester and deflector on your 2320T or 2620T?

    • @GwinnettLawns
      @GwinnettLawns  Před 2 měsíci +1
