I like that 306. Around 2004/5 I used to drive a Bianca White L-reg Citroen ZX 1.9 XUD 'Pzazz', a limited edition actually. Same N/A diesel engine, low spec, and despite having no power steering, I actually really enjoyed driving it. It saved me a lot of money, and my job. Because it was ever so reliable, and a very refined motorway car. Many interior parts of that 306 look similar to what I had in that ZX.
Ive got a rover 218 with the 1.8 peugeot diesel engine , its like a little tank ! Brilliant engine , windey windows , and NO Power steering !

Sad to see you struggling financially mate, but glad to see you have still got a few bit to scrap. Auntie Sophie still giving you the run around but with all the bits of that people want it'll be scrap time.
Its got to be hard at the moment as no one is spending money unless forced. Rovers are getting fewer and fewer and those that remain are classics or shit boxes the latter because no one has the money to do them up.
I had a 406 diesel ex taxi with 215k miles. I sold it after 4 weeks to a mate. When i dropped it off at his house, he had 3 gallons of cooking oil ready to go ..
So will Nigel definitely not now be getting a different Rover alloy wheel on each corner as proposed by Mr Steve Berry off of that Top Gear program on the telly ?
I had a brand new 306 2 litre HDI worst car I ever had it was a Friday afternoon car I had 504 ti 205 1.9 gti 308 gti 406 executive I had a few Peugeots and another good video Paul 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍

The non-turbo version of the XUD engine in the Peugeot is tough as old boots but seriously lacked in any kind of performance!!! Quite a few models in the Peugeot/Citroen range sported a variant of the XUD which I understand also appeared in the R8 😎
I don't think it will fit you have to measure and measure again before even trying to put it in as they is not alot of room in the engine bay of a rover 25 i knew I would needed some cutting 😂
Ah a 306 i had one of those as a courtesy car in my youth because someone crashed in to my car while it was parked on the street.

@@ProjectNigel oh yea I forgot to say that because the petrol 306 I was loaned was so light , went over a humpback bridge at speed and swear all 4 wheels left the ground lol.

We go through roughly 1500 Alloy wheels a month here @the Yards. Sometimes they feel like an epidemic 😮. The Steel Wheels on the other hand.....😮👀.
