Dude. This is the first time I stop by your channel. YOU ARE AN INCREDIBLE REVIEWER. Other reviews I saw on this laptop just said vague stuff like "fans are a bit too loud for me", "this laptop is a good choice" or so. And they just left me with doubt and further questions. You actually measured the temperature (both CPU and on the surface) and the freaking dB on the fans etc. You put numbers on everything, gave qualified opinions, advice and quirky bonus info and now I have literally NO QUESTIONS left to be asked. I'm going for the 15,6" inch. This video is a gem (I'm sure your whole channel is) and finding it was life-affirming. Faith in youtube reviews restored. I salute you sir.

There was already a sale on it, I also have Lenovo EPP Store access and then there's Shopback available. We ordered the version with Ryzen 4700U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD. It was so cheap that we also splashed extra for 2yr mid-tier warranty and extra for the Light Teal colour. This is the first video I've seen from your channel but overall I came away ridiculously impressed. Everything about your video is extremely fluid and well put together. I also enjoy the minimalism of your set, very clean and inviting! You and your video are extremely concise and there is something intangible about how you put your video together that I find very appealing and calming in a strange way.
If this makes any sense, cool, if not oh well but you don't do "it" very much. By it, I mean the ridiculously common small cues and slight subliminal motions, movements and word choices. I find these to be so common these days, not just on CZcams but everywhere really, that I feel there is a very good chance that you understand how to particularly avoid such things in order to keep such things to a minimum.
Either way, I appreciate this sort of thing in a person, especially when I'm taking free time out of my day to watch. Whether or not you're doing it on purpose doesn't matter much as your video's overall quality is great and informative and the entirety of what I'm trying to articulate happens whether one is "trying" to do "it" or not, "it" usually ends up being quite annoying when one does it purposefully. Just say what you want to say and don't cover it up, you know? Keep up the good work, though! You just got a new sub!

      Brit pronunciation.
Technically French silent 'e' pronunciation, which came to England in the 1100s with William the Conqueror.
Spanish linguistics give the "uh-DOH-bee" vs French-based "uh-DOH-b" of this British youtuber. I doubt hes aware of how British pronunciation is influenced by French.
"American" pronunciation is the Scots-Irish accent, lowland Scots forcibly displaced by the English in the 12-1400s post Bonnie Prince Charlie era of Scotland when it became part of the UK, and the displaced Scots were sent to Northern Ireland as a buffer between the rebellious Irish and their English rulers.
Hated by both the English who used them as a buffer, and the Irish who view them as invaders, the Scots-Irish who largely settled the Appalachias, had as little regard for their crown, as their crown had shown them. The fiercest fighters of the American Revolutionary War the Appalachian-settled Scots Irish, led by a former British Army officer George Washington, created an ultimately unwinnable war for the tradition-bound British Army.
The freedom of America directly came from Britain defeated by Scots-Irish, who British had considered second-class.
Hence we have the mutual hatred between the 2 countries with cultures so comparativelt similar its laughable. Brits hating that their 2nd class subjects defeated them using British training, Scots-Irish having pulled the curtain back on English invincibility and knowing that they had vindicated themselves from English defeat and land confiscation by turning English tradition on itself.
Only in the Reagan era did Americans, and British, realize their combined influence on the world, from the same source culture. When Thatcher reminded America that they were British and asked who they knew they were, America responded that they were Brits who rejected the tyranny of British monarchy, but certainly not Argentine.
When British stop being assholes long enough, Americans always acknowledge that they are anti-monarchy English, but English in every other cultural and political sense.

The Aspire 5 ha been one of the most popular budget /entry level laptops for years. I have recommended them to so many people over the years. I would go for one of the configs in the 450-500 range though because the bare minimum is usually lacking ram. These days SSD speed is becoming important to look at because manufacturers use that as a way to distinguish their models even though it makes minimal cost difference it makes a huge speed difference.

Those export times were just awful due to lack of support by Adobe (I really hope Adobe will update for this). Also, the always on fan while plugged in. If it's just sitting there browsing the web that things should be off (CPU speed should step down as not needed).
