@@guyfhuyhdfuhdffhj using it right now. just installed a linux partition finally like a couple weeks ago. works fine still working and playing on it. typing is a dream. it will still clip and stutter once or twice while watching a video on any platform on both windows and linux. there was a driver fix or something in some video maybe even this one but am too lazy to find it or maybe i did it and that's how well it works.

@@migdafig9213 i bought mine from Curry’s PC World, which i think is a UK only chain, and i think the graphics card is just a standard built in AMD one, so you may have to do some research to find out further, but it works absolutely perfectly! the only annoying thing is that it’s soldered on so you can’t change it yourself, but it’s still perfectly fine!

The screen isn't that bright, but looks beautiful indoors.I got the Ryzen 7 5700u 16GB RAM w/ 256 SSD. It's just so nice to look at and I love the keyboard too. It's changed the way I work at my desk. If you are planning to be mobile, I'd go for something else though. But it's exactly what I wanted. A solid laptop that offers something different that will have a good re-sell value when I upgrade in 5 years or so.
Great review, I like the logical approach to how you assessed the laptop, but that you also gave a subjective view on everything too. It made for a very balanced review that I think I got more out of than any other review for this laptop.
Power button next to the delete key or power button integrated into the keyboard is really inconvenient. I totally agree with you. I don't know why so many reviewers say nothing about this issue.

Very nice interview but I guess you missed some point, which Flex 5 also has pen support and it is actually can be a big deal for some folks around who working with drawing. To me, I was looking for a robust, useful laptop for using StaffPad on the go, and pen is huge deal for me, especially for that reason.

Some of the conclusions here might be misleading. I own an i7-1065g7 Lenovo Flex 5 and my kid uses a 5-4500U Lenovo Slim 3. In Geekbench single-core the i7-1065g7 bests the 4500U while the opposite is the case in multi-core. But looking at the entire system with Novabench, the Flex 5 is overall the more capable >>system
Hey man watched your video about this laptop and you convinced me to buy it at first I had a couple of issues with the software but after updating all the drivers and finishing the windows update it works great now. The size is great and the keyboard feels really good to type on(I'm typing on it right now). I got the ryzen 4700u variant and its an absolute monster in terms of CPU power. The fans are only audible/on while gaming, and the integrated graphics are much better than the integrated graphics on intel laptops. I also had an issue with the keyboard at first where it would make an odd noise when typing, but if you turn the laptop off and push down on it for a minute(without breaking it) it completely gets rid of the problem. I have the power settings set to energy saving to conserve battery life. The speakers are great, the click from the touch pad is a bit loud, but still works. I know the display is the worst part about this laptop, if you don't edit videos or images then it is barely noticeable. If that is a dealbreaker for you, you can setup your power options to not go to sleep after closing the lid, and connect it to an external monitor and it doesn't take up much space on a desk. I got mine at costco with ryzen 7 4700u, 3200mhz 16gb ram, 500gb ssd, and the size is 14 inches. After you fix those issues this laptop a really good deal.

The RAM is not low-powered (LPDDR4). It is ‘full-power’ (DDR4) which is good b/c Ryzen chips underperform with LP RAM
