How to Install a Harley Boom Audio Sena 20s EVO Wireless Headset in a Motorcycle Helmet

- I show you how to install a Sena 20s EVO Wireless Headset in a motorcycle helmet. This video will guide you regardless if you have a full face, modular, half, or 3/4 helmet as it is a universal system. You’ll learn how to install the speakers and how to install the microphone along with all your options. The Sena 20s EVO Wireless Headset Kit comes with everything you need for install.
The speakers on the Sena 20s EVO Wireless Headset sound very nice for a motorcycle headset. Understand, that you'll likely never get deep sounding base and perfect highs and mids like a set of professional headphones. These speakers are limited in size as they must fit inside your helmet.
With a Sena Freewire you’ll be able to integrate the Harley Sena 20s EVO Headset with your Harley-Davidson Boom Box Infotainment System. That means phone calls, GPS turn by turn, music, voice commands, intercom, and CB. Plus you can pair with up to eight other riders for bike-to-bike communications. If you have a passenger that you want to communicate with wirelessly through the Boom Box intercom system, you'll need to buy one Freewire for the rider and one for the passenger.

For the life of my I couldn't figure out where the speakers went 😆 thanks to your video I found it! Subscribed!
This is the best yet. I have been saving for 2 years and decided to go for the WHIM and the 30K Harley Davidson (HD) Sena unit a week ago. Still today there is nothing from HD or anywhere else on the interweb on setting up and configuring headset units to the WHIM in the detail that Ryan goes into. Even the local dealerships have difficulty in explaining and setting things up.
Well, Praise be to God. I just bought a Senna 10S from my Harley dealer who told me I could find a how to CZcams video on how to install it - not so. I figured out how to attach it to my helmet, but the only sound I get from it, is the volume "low/high ' tone. I may have bolixed the blue tooth module attachment, but thank you for the timely vid!

Excellent video-thanks! If you every want something stronger than Velcro for something like the mic 3M Dual Lock is great. Better adhesive and clicks together like a snap. It's in hdwr stores... Stay safe brother!
Great video. I have it on my HJC modular and my wife’s is on her Bilt 3/4 helmet. The best part is if we are on the softail instead of our 18 Ultra we can still communicate

Ryan, great video! If the wireless system is installed, and my wife and I take our helmets on a ride with a rental, can we talk to each other with the wireless mikes. I know we won't be able to connect with a rental that doesn't have the WHIM. Thanks.

I purchased a helmet that I really liked & loved that it's made for a built in SENA SRL ( Shoei neotec 2 ) will that work with my 2019 HD Street glide with the BOOM gts??????????
It will pair, but you wont have stereo sound and full functionality unless you get a HD branded Sena.

Will the Harley 20S sync with other riders that have an SPH10 wireless headset?
Not sure. We all upgrade to the 20s and they pair fine.

I have a Sena headset haven't used in a couple of years. And now I can't get them to work. I have charged them but they don't seem to tyrn on not sure what'sgoingon there, and so they are not discoverable on my phone which is a Samsung A70. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Yes, you can use it like any other Sena and pair it directly with your phone.

Another great video by LAB! I bought my WHIM a couple of months ago for my 2015 SGS and watched the install and set up video which made install a breeze. It wasn’t until I watched this video that I learned about the other mics the set came with. I then switched over to the Velcro mic. My next upgrade will be changing out the speakers. I did have a question. When I have a passenger, I am getting a lot noise that is causing an “open mic”. Have you had this or heard of this and if so, how do I fix it? The system cost a lot of money and it isn’t working how I feel it should for the cost. I didn’t go with the Freewire because I had nothing wireless and it was more cost effective to go with the HD. Thx for any help you can offer.

Is it me who made something wrong or is it really bad sound in the headphones from Sena? I find that there is better sound in HD's headphones.
I think you forgot to mention that the WHIM will only work with the Harley branded Sena headset. Will not work with normal 20S or 30S. I found out the hard way.
