- This week we met some fellow mudlarkers we have wanted to meet for a long time, Si-finds and Nicola White. They were super lovely and we had a great time. Come see what we mudlarked on our favourite beach along with some new friends!

Cool history on Dr. Scholls.(It's a soft sound, like shhh, so why does it have the "c"? ) The company made some really popular sandals that everybody wore back in the early 80s when I went to college in Florida. How cute that Oscar got a hat!
Dr. Scholl's still makes shoe inserts, they're the biggest brand for them.

What a small & wonderful world of mudlarkers! It’s funny because I discovered them all separately… and now to see them all together adds a larger dimension. Your girl soaking her foot needs a foot easer. I love that some of my favorite mudlarkers got together for this collaboration. I loved everything you found. I use Dr. Scholl's foot gel inserts in my boots and shoes. Soft foam gel inserts are at pharmacy. If not for Nic and Si I wouldn't have found Northern Mudlarks and then on to you lovely ladies. Love all your crafts. I go to a river and Pacific coast to look for crafting materials myself all the time. Babe in a teacup, how funny and imaginative. Blessings

One of the Doctor Scholl's shoe factory buildings is at the end of my street. It's been turned into loft apartments.
Congratulations on reaching 10K subscribers! The Dr. Scholl's arch support find is brilliant. As someone with custom orthotics, I can totally sympathize with the need for them.
That blue glass thingy ar 12:30 from Simon could also possibly be an eye shower for a borax solution. This was used in some industry/factories where chemicals were used, or metall industry, when fluids or little metall pieces got stuck in ones eye. The shape of it tells me that. On the continent these were clear glass

As a young girl I wore the Dr.Scholl metal arch supports in my shoes. They were covered in leather on one side and the other with layers of foam products that could be Filed down for proper fit. Interesting find. 🕊️💞
