I don't think Wolverine's healing factor kept him alive from Professor X's seizures. He has Adamantium in his skull and isn't Magneto's helmet made of the same material?

yeah this also i think the toxins in the food are whats killing logan but his powers keep him from dying that early also maybe the charles xaveirs seizure in westchester could have weakened him too or the admantium in his body is getting rusty and is releasing toxin
@@evn2787 Adamantium cant get rusty. Its just toxic the reason why logan died was because he got old and his healing factor also weakened due to poison. Well if magneto removed the adamantium from his skeleton maybe 10 years earlier he could have lived more and his healing factor would start back again like it was used to be. The only thing im surprised is that his body didnt adapt to the poision. I mean getting constantly hammered by the poision your body should adapt to it in some way.

I feel there’s relevance in the theory made by Hank (Beast) in Days of Future Past. Logan changed the past and stopped the Sentinel program which saved mutant kind but time corrected itself and caused another way to kill off mutant kind.
So that would explain it meaning The mutant race is Destin to face extinction anyway since The last mutants were born in 2004 meaning they will be 25 in 2029 when this movie took place and the clone mutants were born in 2018 that would mean the last remaining mutants that were born in 2004 and the cloned mutants that were born in 2018 would all die from old age in the early 2090s to The early 2100s
Still doesn’t explain all the child mutants in DOFP’s ending. To me Logan is a separate timeline. It doesn’t make sense for it to fit after DOFP.

Logan is NOT after Days of Future Past. It is the end of the classic, original timeline began back in 2000. Logan is in effect X4. It is a completely separate timeline from Days of Future Past. Logan is set in 2029. It says there have not been any mutants born in 20 years. The Days of Future Past end scene is in 2023 and the school is full of mutant children. So obviously Days of Future Past never happened in the Logan timeline. Also, in Logan, Professor X states that Logan killed Jean. He was referring to the climax of X3. Logan is what would've happened if Wolverine had stayed at the mansion after X3 (which is how X3 ended, with Wolverine looking out over the school grounds) instead of becoming a hermit in The Wolverine. In this timeline there is no Days of Future Past because instead of using sentinels to kill mutants and bring on that apocalyptic future, the government uses a derivative of the cure mixed into the food, particularly corn syrup, to stop mutants from being born. This is what also causes Charles' powers to destabilize which results in him accidentally killing the X-Men, which didn't include Scott or Jean because they died in X3.
Logan is the 4th movie in the original timeline. X-Men, X2, X3, and Logan.
But wasn't The Wolverine also set after X3, so why would that not be the same timeline as Logan? Also, the original timeline ended with all the mutants being killed by sentinels in 2023, so Logan probably wouldn't have happened after that since it has a completely history of why there aren't mutants anymore.

Im calling it now, with Laura being their wolverine and Rictor their cyclops, I have no idea who would be their professor X, unless not all the original X-Men were killed at Xavier's mansion and im guessing whoever is still alive, Will be at "Eden" and will guide and train the New Mutants, which im 95% sure was already confirmed as a upcoming film, and im super excited about that cause based on the quality of this film they can have my money!

Aaron Figueroa well in one of the comics I've seen, cyclops did end up becoming charles' succesor and led the new generation of x-men but it's still unknown really who was contacting the kids because there are multiple various factions of mutants and one of these factions is said to be older than even apocalypse himself.
Since the kids were making a break for the Canadian border and the Reavers had to stop at the border, I think Alpha Flight was waiting for them on the other side, but couldn't cross stateside as they are operatives of the Canadian government and the incursion could be viewed as an act of aggression.
I loved the actress playing Laura,she was so adorable with pained look on her when Charles had one of his episodes.

Alpha Flight is a Canadian hero team made through the government and Wolverine had once been associated with them and worked with them. As Logan is Canadian that is not really much of a surprise that he would work with a Canadian team but since he is also such a lone wolf it is a bit of a surprise for some people.

The comics were a thing, but as Logan says, less than a quarter of it happened, and not like this.
So some of the events happened, but the comics took a fictional turn and artistically twisted the events to make them more interesting or fantastical.

If this is how the X Men end, thats pretty shitty for the other fans.
Everyone else but Logan, X, and Calaban dead? No goodbye to anyone else people cared about? The fact that it is now set in a gritty, realistic world at its end is unfair to the people who liked the more campy, unrealistic ones? This is an OK ending to Wolverine in my opinion, but what about the others? They get no closure, no goodbye, not even a mention.

How did Logan get so old in 6 years? I mean he looked fine in 2023 with few greys on his head, even with the adamantium poising him, he shouldn't have gotten this old. (Unless this movie is in its own universe)
Utkur Halilov This movie is based on a comic called Old Mam Logan he is 250 years old and the adamantium after 70 years in him has fucked him up.
He is being rapidly killed by the metal. It's not that he's begun aging normally, he's aging like all of his body got cancer at once, which is basically what was happening. Presuming there was some way of removing all the metal from him, like Magneto, he would probably instantly heal back to his normal self.

It was suggested by the director of Days of Future Past. He said that magneto could control the remaining adamantium in logan's body to give his claw back. It would be easy for Magneto to take some layers of adamantium of the bones and create new adamantium claws.
Sam In the new timeline, Wolverine probably met Yashida because the part where he saves him in world war 2 is still canon.
In days of future past he doesn't have it until he's taken to alkali lakes and experimented upon again just to be released by jean, scott and nightcrawler in apocalypse, its a tad confusing but fox expects us to just go with it and forget some events or something.

Logan was a beautiful film. who cares about the what if's or if this character should've been in it or Wolverine shouldn't of died. Logan Film was The Best Movie for what it was. A great story, great characters and great bloody action scenes and a good send off to Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. I'm also convinced that they should move forward with a Laura spin-off as it would be too quick for a X-Men Reboot, instead they should focus on making real good stories and adventures building the next generation characters and giving them depth.

i watched it twice and recall that it said "7 mutants and several x..." where it cut off. I think it meant that it killed several xmen and 7 mutants along with the 600. the mutants were probably just pupils

The movie cannot be set in the DOFP timeline. Because the movie is in the year 2029 and they say that no mutants have been born in 25 years (so the last mutant was born in 2004). But in the end of DOFP (2024) we see a lot younger mutant students in the school, something that could not be possible in the Logan timeline, since the youngest mutant would have to be 20 years old. Logan is set on the same universe as the x-men, but in a different timeline.
I remember a young child (student) with some his hair white leaving his room to class. remember Logan is stand alone movie.

Not only that, but Xavier mentions first meeting Logan as a cage fighter, which makes no sense given that the events of DOFP leads to them meeting some 30 years earlier than in the original film. Hell, they met in First Class! This movie doesn't really slot into either timeline particularly well.
Well in Apocalypse Charles said he's thinking of accepting regular kids into his school, so if he went ahead with his idea, then those students could just be regular kids with no powers.

Can you please rewatch the movie, only 7 mutants died, several being xmen, which is around 3 xmen who died. So the rest survived. There are more than 7 mutant students, and there are more than 3 xmen.
