      @user-by8iq3ft7e Před rokem +90

      @@ItsTanuki0_Clock plus to add do it: Hermann is name of Franz Kafka's father. About whom it is said and speculated that he had a very hard relationship with his son. He didn't want him to be a writer and pretty much critiqued his choises and tried to help him get other and better place in life. Yet Franz still admired point of view of his father even if the last didn't admire his own while going his own way. In a way, it has a double parallel to Zamza's father through it: he threw an apple in Gregor in the book which poisoned and killed him and he was the one in the family who didn't happen to think of him as of human. He is the one who kills Gregor Zamza in a way. So it is interesting that Kafka, who is usually paralleled today with Gregor, has a father named Hermann who in Limbus Company is portrayed as Gregor's mother. It's pretty neat and cool. Plus if you remember -- in the first chapter during cutscenes about Gregor cutting apple or piercing it, it is a some shady lady's voice we hear who talks and asks or even orders him to do so. Hermann, basically.
      If anything is hard to understand -- I'm sorry, english is not my native language yet I try to speak it as well a I may. I hope it helps and is good. There still may be some mistakes.

  • @JannetFenix
    @JannetFenix Před 8 měsíci +10

    A little bit insight after rewatching chapter many, many times.
    The sinners are probablymy favourite "conflict having" characters in PMverse altogether. That's because their stories, as outlandish as they might seem, are probaably some of the most relatable "feelings" we've seen this far. At least to me, they speak on a level of emotions that exist, but i could not name for long time; feelng reflection of myself in each of those mirrors.
    Sure, I'm not a child soldier modified genetically to fight a war between megacorps in a post-singularity dystopian city.
    But there's more than "trauma" to them.
    The story of someone who was tailored to meet someone's goals to flaunt him as a trophy child; his entire life dedicated to meetng someone else's expectations, untill he forgot to have his own.
    The story of someone who really wanted to become someone special and acknowledged, perverting her wish to see people's gratefullness and happiness throuh natural selfishness.
    The story of someone stuck in liminal, someone that was not ready - and terribly scared of - entering into adulthood and confront adversities; paralyzed by realization that there is no way back to innocence and carefreeness.
    The story of someone whose life deteriorated due to passiveness and lethargy; mistaking the inability (lack of "means") to change his situation with excuse to unwillingness to do so; the overbearing, strenght-draining weight of taking action with awareness it will mean abandoning status quo.
    Are they not feelings we know so intimately? Pains we endure? Blaming the world for adversity we can't overcome?
    And also, the answers are there.
    To realize value and use your potential, but for your own sake and ambition.
    To stop running and accept the blame, facing that intention of mutual benefit doesn't cover up the wrongdoing.
    To embrace responsibility and independence; confronting what has to be faced the most: oneself and your mistakes.
    To understand that the answer was in our reach, even if not as favourable as we'd like it to be - to take it and stop seeking excuse to not act upon it.
    So far, only the last one succeeded.
    The circumstances in which they sinned are unfair and cruel - and life is such. But the choices they made that caused their pain were theirs and it's their responsibility to at the very least try to grow as a person. The world doesn't owe one a happy ending if they don't write it on their own.

      @@FreyCheqama Sinclair in particular, his issue isnt just a story of losing his whole family and having his world be destroyed by a cult of maniacs - but mostly the weakness to confrontations. To avoid confronting adversities, whether its telling his prothesis-loving family how he feels, bearing the pressure of his peers or telling kromer to leave him alone, he only drove himself into more troubles.
      We know this icy, heavy feeling, don't we?
      And he cant yet stomach leaving childhood behind, as his grown, innocence-lost self is cruel and merciless.
      Instead, he shoves blame on kromer - and even despite it fuelling his rage, he did not completely fledge, still unable to act on his own under pressure.
      Yi Sang though... he is hard to put into words. I guess its only because of how intimate close his struggles felt to me that I just... understand. This marasm. Depression making you truly believe you cannot take lifechanging action... while in reallity your brain just chose to not see it.
