- The sinners feel like ants compared to everything we are going to fight and quite honestly, we have very rarely seen that so far. Its a uhh weird feeling to have immortality yet still feel as tho we are going to lose, all the time. Honestly tho, canto 5 be peak.

One cool detail about The Indigo Elder, there was previous mention of “The Grade 1 Fixer of the Lake” (pretty sure it was in Ruina) and now we finally get to meet him only now he has been promoted.
It was on a promotional tweet in the limbus company twitter account in wich gebura was asking roland who was the strongest fixer (that are currently in the city) and he mentions some of them, among them there was a fixer of the lake, probably refering to indigo elder before being a color

My theory is that at Portship Marlin, Vergilius contacted Indigo Elder. The sinner's power levels arent high enough to deal with the whale yet, and Verg probably told the Indigo Elder to meet at the Lob Corp branch.
That would explain why vergilius said that "you will see it in due time" when asked about why there are now 4 calamities instead of 5

I loved this beatdown because it was a humbling moment for the Sinners. Heathcliff was proven wrong like Ishamael said that their reliance on Dantes rewind would only take them so far. Against overwhelming strength even if you had a million tries if your not strong enough to at least make up for the difference in strength than the rewind is useless. Our Sinners gotta get stronger and get more powerful identities.
Identities don't make the sinners stronger, it's the coupons from luxcavation and the thread, identities just change what they can do lel
IDs determine the skills not strength. We have access to R-Corp IDs which are considered SoTC level yet still canonically lost to Kromer who was only TETH whereas in LC they could take down HEs. WAWs and the occasional ALEPH.

By now this series is turning into the Korean Legue of Extraordinary gentelman, with literatures characters (or in this case inspired by) showing up through an adventure.
I'l lbe honest, I didn't know of The old man and the Sea before this part, but I will check it out now.
Hell I'm just surprised by how much western literature Project Moon knows.
It's a great book, and not the longest read, I hope you enjoy it. Part of PM being (I think) former literature students I'm not all that surprised.

Ensemble and I doubt that Demian is the blue color considering that the elder is a blue color. Demian's group also isn't that similar to the reverb ensemble

We also see that vermillion cross got killed moments before the book release so i don't think verg would be promoted that quickly
@@lolwarrior2181 not moments before leviathan, there was definitely an amount of time between them also Verg wasn't promoted that quickly considering how the the red mist had been "dead" and how vermillion can be orange instead of red which is more likely due to the fact that we used a fucking orange cross as a weapon.
Funnily Enough, Roland isn’t an actual colour, just Grade 1. Angelica, The Real Black Silence, is apparently stronger than Roland, according to him.
While that's the case, I feel like giving Roland the Color. After what he did before and in the Library (fighting against the Distorted Ensemble for a WEEK and then being able to not get insta-wiped by the Head), he has proven himself to be worthy. IMO.

He’s not a colour only by technicality. Everyone around him probably knows him as the black silence. After all, his kill of the pianist is credited to The Black Silence. This likely means that he’s strong enough that he can fool the others into thinking he’s the black silence or something like that.
So, for intents and purposes, while he may not actually be a colour, he might as well be.
He's color level but is a grade one, yeah. He's stronger than a Distorted Argalia that was empowered by the light.
Baral's comment also implies that Roland would fair way against him had he not been exhausted and wounded. Though Roland would still lose, Baral would have probably died in the process potentially.

yes, blue is still a possible color, in LoR the blue sicko band killed the "vermilion cross", and vergilius was already the "red gaze" at the time

Presumably, Vergillius was active around the same time as the Vermillion Cross. So yeah, there are different shades of Color Fixers. Though, whether that translates to some sort of hierarchy among the Colors or not is still up in the air.
Pretty sure the Vermillion cross was the orange color, remember seeing somewhere that the game files alluded to that
Tbh I think people are getting too caught up in whether the colors are "exclusive seats" I dont think its like "only one person can be any shade of red" or there isnt an explicit number of "color titles", its just a grade of power (the highest grade) similar to the normal fixer grades. Presumably the hana association (or whoever grades colors if not them) just come up with an appropriate color when they give said person the title of a color. So you could have only 5 colors, or 100 (Extremely unlikely) of ungodly powerful "fixers" running around. The Hana association would either just get more specific with the color or even start using another method to name them.

The Indigo Elder has a good purpose, the library itself was a very powerful Star of the city, and if everything that strong is send to the Outskirts is almost certain that someone would try to hunt them. Still, I'm 100% certain that if this guy entered the library Angela could solo him like when she met Roland.
The Library is still in the outskirts you know fixers have been trying to get into it but it apparently disappears when you get too close if I remember correctly from the epilogue with purple tear
Probably any head librarian could solo him at this point.

The introduction of the indigo elder was a fantastic way to show how strong characters in this setting can be as well as excellently establishing the pecking order when it comes to power as well as making the sinners potential victory seem a lot more realistic.
This old man probably rolls with 99 on each coin and he prolly has 10 on each move.

The elder gives me big Santiago vibes. The Old Man and the Sea is one of my favorite books. I've read it at intervals in my life so far and always got something different from it, as soon as I knew we would have to sail in Canto V, I hoped so much we'd get to see Santiago, so I was instantly sold on Indigo.
