- Valheim is a game I've been meaning to play for a long time. Survival game? Building and Crafting game? Viking war simulator? What is this game I wondered--now we find out! Valheim was chosen in a poll of Channel Members and Patreon Patrons for the game they'd like to see in a new wrinkle: Member's Choice! I think it will be a fun way for channel supporters to steer the content some by polling those kind and amazing souls to see what game they would enjoy. finally, a valheim gameplay with a relaxing calm voice. i recently started playing this game myself. while I'm working, i like to have gameplay videos in the background. this is perfect!

I am commenting mid video so you might know this already, but there is a button to activate item autopickup, so you just walk and they go to your inventory! And if you see damage numbers it means you are progressing (to chop a log or a stump or destroy structures), while 0 or "too hard" means what you are using is not enough or it can't be damaged!

So this is 5 months late but i was just playing Medieval Dynasty on saturday on xbox and Valheim on xbox yesterday and in BOTH games my first death was from a tree falling on me. So.....yeah.

No I didn't try Mortal Online! Sounds fun ;) This Valheim play is definitely full of failures... with a few victories ;) such a fun game!

Yes! My old mixer was dying and was panning everything to the right. My new mixer just sends the mic volume in mono, so that should *hopefully* not be an issue anymore. Thank you for letting me know! It was an odd problem haha
The Dr + survival and crafting games are a match made in heaven, excited to see where this journey takes you 😂✌️

It may or may not be too late to tell you, but you don't need to build another axe.
The workbench has a "repair" button next to the crafting menu.

Hey! I'll give this playlist a go next rather than going back to one of the others to shrink my list again since you recommended it :P I have 2hrs I can make use of before my internet resets tonight. Also good news, I managed the Sims 4 download earlier so yay for that :) That whole crow scene dropping you in the woods brought back memories of Dragonheart... "Come, visit the woods!" LoL
Looks like a fun game though. I love that level up system too for skills. Reminds me of Elder Scrolls. I used to boost my Acrobatic skill by finding steep hills/mountains and jumping as fast as I can going up it and you'd level up so fast it was funny :P I know that worked in Morrowind but I can't recall if you could do it in Oblivion or Skyrim also.
Wow, you mention Meade Hall and my mind instantly goes to Beowulf also and then you say it seconds later :P Haha yeah, the food did make a little sizzle-like sound when you were in the build menu and maybe that's the sign it was done? Seems tricky though if it can burn. On to video 2 to see if you have discovered the whereabouts of your mortal enemy.... the stone :P Had fun watching, thanks for the recommend! Since I likely can't play this I'll run through this playlist next then as I can :)
Haha, I knew you'd like this one, Jen! It's such an amazing game. Yeah, I love training sneak in Elder Scrolls by just hiding behind a guard in the town haha. The sizzle is the secret! The game's sound effect cues are actually really great and I am a bad BBQ chef haha. Stone comes much more readily now, which is fantastic! Mortal enemy, slain! haha
@@DrIncompetent Yeah it looks like a fun game. Honestly it reminds me of Ark, without the dinos :P Sizes are likely different between systems but about how big was this game on the Xbox One? I'd have to go with Steam but I'd imagine the laptop could run it. Haha and yeah, I've trained Sneak like that before too on an enemy that wasn't moving. I'd go into stealth right behind them then switch the Input over to watch a movie with dinner then switch back over. Most of the time my level raised but I recall 1 time the enemy decided to turn and get me at some point :P Can't wait to catch up on these again soon as I can! Big updates should be around the 8th I think so maybe by the middle of the month if nothing dumb comes up again I can watch a bit earlier than usual :)
Yeah, it's a lot like ARK without dinos... at least so far! Anything could happen haha

Those wood goblins are kind of "spirits of the forest" and spawn every time you do something to piss off Nature (cut down a tree, build a big ol' house, kill a boar or deer, that kind of thing...)
