as a valheim player, i can indeed confirm this must have taken him an absolutely colossal amount of time to mine out hose channels of stone and build his tree house, truly committed to the bit. What a legend.

beating the elder with no armor, no food, and no real weapon besides the campfire... seems almost inconceivable to me.
The hours played and death count have to both be up there.
Someone out there has probably beat the whole game like that though.
@@mrmoore2050 Potentially. It's not really possible anymore, though. Soon after this video dropped, devs released a patch that made campfires lose durability anytime they light an entity on fire, so what Josh was doing here is no longer practical.

It's viable, but it's just way faster to play the way devs intended us to play. Burning enemies and bosses takes forever, I've tried it weeks ago. Also it doesn't work on everything past the elder.

This game is freaking awesome. At the 5 second mark, I literally just stumbled upon that creature while floating by in my raft. I was thinking if this thing sees me, I'm dead lol. Luckily he seemed to have poor vision and I just floated right on by.
