Good eye and great work, your work reminds me, a friend of mine from NJ who also does body work and paint keep the good work going I saw all your videos
Same issue on one of my 2022 model y doors. Took it to service center and they said door was fine but adjusted passenger door since they said it was out of spec. Shrug. I’ll make another appointment or try to fix myself if I get brave. Thanks for sharing this video.
Just got my new Tesla 3 yesterday and the doors are misaligned. Already set up an appointment to have it adjusted but very scared if the service will do a good job or not. When we went to pick up the car, we saw other new cars also had the same problem. This was a known factor, but I do not understand why this is still happening. Have to drive 2 and a half hour to have this fixed.
Do you know if the front hinges are adjustable where the hinge bolts to the car? I know they are non adjustable where they bolt to the door but wondered if the front hinges could be moved slightly up or down on the body?
The problem with my Model 3 is that the bottom half of the front driver door is not flush with the back door. It is more inward. Do you have any suggestion how to fix it? Tesla Service Center refused to fix it even though with one eye open you still can see the misalignment . They said it was within the tolerance. I don't know what to do. Thank you.
I bought 1 year ago and I have the exact same problem. May try to get service center to do it free under warranty. If they charge, maybe I can ask around to borrow this tool. Doesn't seem like a tool to permanently buy..
I just did for my Tesla S it was much harder for me.
You should be hired by Tesla to do this on every car they sell. It seem that they still don't know how to align panels at the factory

One year later and still can control this. Will go to service center and see what they can o
Would you know how to adjust the trunk? The gap on one side is around twice the other side below the brake lights.
Curious of the build date? My August silver 3 has a door worse than yours and still needs adjusted. Brought it in to Tesla and they made it worse.
