They sale Kratom at my job and a lot of people buy it. For example, I had a customer who broke his ankle and when they “fixed” it they fixed it incorrectly. He said his joints were rubbing together constantly and he was in constant pain. Anyways, he bought it because his pain killers that were prescribed for him were was not enough. He said the Kratom was like taking 2 prescribed pain killers. I also had a customer who was a cop, & she was saying how she got injured at work and she was also using it as a pain relief. A few people do use it because they used to be addicted to opioids and the Kratom “masks” the withdrawal symptoms and helps them get clean. BUTTTT I knew one guy who would take Kratom before he went out to go drinking and he said he would take Kratom because he could drink & get bat shit wasted but he would never be hung over. He said he would feel tipsy and all but never got hung over. It’s crazy lol
