Dodger Stadium is my favorite stadium in the whole world. With its majestic setting in the Chavez Ravine, outfield view of San Gabriel Mountains, DTLA on the other side, always perfect weather, the most beautiful grass. I remember as a kid moving to Los Angeles from Toronto Canada, and my dad taking me to "The Ravine" for the first time. Just walking out, and seeing that beautiful field, I didn't ever want to leave. Surprised to see so many of the college stadiums on here. I personally wouldn't count some of them among the ranks of the big boys. Does Shepard Stadium even host anything anymore? I have never in my life heard of Pierce College actually having a football team. I mean, I know it did and I have SEEN the stadium from my time attending Pierce, but to me it always looks abandoned. Idk. Just a little weird to see something like that posted up next to the Rose Bowl or Dodger Stadium. Some college venues make sense - again, like the Rose Bowl, Coliseum, and even Drake Stadium, but the little community college ones... Idk.

I’d agree. However the coliseum was used for NFL for a long time back in the day as well.

Pierce actually hosted the final LA Express USFL football game. I'm pretty sure Steve Young played in that game.

The two stadiums (which share a plaza area for concessions, restrooms, and entrance/exit) held simultaneous events one night earlier this year (MLS and boxing). That's rare. I wondered if they were testing logistics operations ahead of the Olympics.

Great video as always! I'd love to see a follow up regarding 2028 Los Angeles Olympic venues... So amped to see the city host the games for the third time. Followed by Brisbane!!!
Incidentally I just went to a sold out Aqua concert last week... At the Sasktel Center in Saskatoon... Not quite the attendance record THERE but back home in Edmonton? Yes! Fastest sell out of a casino entertainment venue in the cities history and they've sold DIAMOND level status in Canadaland... Go figure! Another weird quirk about our land of bisexual stoners... They love Euro-dance too! ;-)

You missed Jackie Robinson Stadium at Pasadena City College. It has football, track and the Tournament of Rose Band Fest. Pasadena also has Robinson Field which is a baseball field in Brookside Park near the Rose Bowl. It was once a site for Chicago Cubs spring training. There is also the "Pyramid" Basketball Stadium at Long Beach State. Pasadena and Long Beach are in L. A. County while Anaheim and San Bernardino are not.
