  • Miss Cartwright is hired to be the new governess to young Pamela. Cartwright immediately dismisses Pamela's beloved nanny, Mrs. Murphy, and finds a punishment room for the child in the basement. Pamela's favorite toy is a stuffed tiger, which becomes the focus of Pamela's revenge against the dictatorial governess. Strange and ominous things begin to happen that can only be explained as psychic phenomena.

Very wicked and full of her own agenda: most assuredly to charm the father when he did arrive like an evil FRAULEIN MARIA but this is not The Sound of Music! Great acting! I loved this one too! Poor Miss Murphy, I hope she and Pamela get reunited afterwards.

Sounds like her tiger became a Tulpa. A "Tulpa" is a concept in Tibetan theosophy, mysticism, and the paranormal, of an object or being that is created through intense spiritual or mental powers. I like to believe it's where the wing gremlin came from in the Twilight Zone. It was a real being created from a person's sheer terror.
