- Produced at the same time as the more well-known The Twilight Zone (1959), this series was an extension of the tradition of radio horror and supernatural dramas such as Light's Out, The Mysterious Traveler and The Witches Tale. As with the Twilight Zone and the radio programs each tale was book-ended by an introduction and conclusion by a host. However, rather than creating fictional stories with supernatural twists and turns, this program sought out "real" stories of the supernatural, including ghosts, disappearances, monsters and the like, re-creating them for each episode. No solutions to these mysteries were ever found, and viewers could only scratch their heads and wonder, "what if it's real?"

LOL ... if only half the attorneys out there did this much.
This is not a One Step Beyond episode.
Not at all. I am disappointed
Its free, folks. Do not get crazy about mix ups. Appreciate more. Complain less.
Its free - be grateful any of the shows are available.
The show is Public Defender. I got excited thinking oh, OSB that I haven't seen...😕
Today's public defenders make no effort on the part of their clients.
probably because most of them have far too many clients to be able to do little more for each of them than show up in the court room on time.
How would you know? Have you needed one? Are you a public defender? Do you volunteer your time to help their offices?
If you had any real experience at all, you would know that public defenders are sadly very overworked and terribly underfunded. It's called burnout, not "no effort." BE the change you want to see. There are loads of programs in counties all across the USA where people with little or no experience can volunteer their time to help public defenders.
So put your money where your mouth is, and shame on you for your harsh judgment.
I thought the same thing. Well, now I know I've seen all OSB episodes.
@@estelleadamski308 THIS IS NOT OSB!
@@enriquesanchez2001 Yep! LOL! I love OSB, though.
This was a decent movie. I have fond memories of LA and always like being whisked back to yesteryears. After my 3 year tour in the Navy ended, I decided to move to Los Angeles from San Diego. I was 19 . I landed my first job as a typist at an insurance company.
Leonard Bremen, who played the agent, was terrific.
This is one step beyond "One Step Beyond". I wuz gipped, I tell ya! Gipped!
STOP WITH THE STUPID SUGGESTION OF WHAT TO WATCH CONSTANTLY POPPING UP IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER
I didn't get any pop-ups.
It's very eerie that the sales girl was actually dead for 20 years and came back to haunt her killer who was selling the very mink she had died in.
That would have been great!!
is this the same show as the one with john newland?
Public defense lawyers doesn't go to those lengths for his client.
because they have too many--they do the best they can
Apparently neither do English teachers.
I'm pretty sure the depiction of attorneys on TV shows are wholly inaccurate.
The Step Beyond episode 32 is called the Reunion, so this is mis-titled.
This world is an illusion, that is why we have to speak out own.
Better an older lady than current day men with tweens !
What was that???? It was not a "One Step Beyond" episode. I did enjoy it, however oh well....lol!!
It's like fake news ... lol
Real fur is still much easier on the environment than manufactured furs.
The is from the series Public Defender.
Regular Perry Mason!
love these creepy
This was not a One Step Beyond film. It was a production of Public Defender. Come on get your act together.
A hot client! Haha, a male Public Defender!
Is that Raymond Burr?
Same old story about not wanting to grow old and the world is passing you by. The world we live in is an illusion !! And you’re an illusion too.
Should have been played by Hillary
I agree. I would love to have perry Mason Ben matlock. Now a days attorneys do not. And public defenders sucks
I'm glad this turned out to be Public Defender. OSB had SOME good stories but lousy producer & narrator. And some stories weren't true.
False advertising
I think Corin was fine. I would have dated her!
Creep
Old woman? She looks 25
In those days a woman could lose her job when she turned 30. You really had to depend on the good graces of your boss. The Mad Men episode were someone put a photocopy of Joan's driver's license on the bulletin board, showing she was 31, could have gotten let go from the company.
She looks as though she was in her late 40s early 50s. She was very pretty for sure.
@@loganran4074 when I was young everyone said I looked like Clint Eastwood. Now, at 68 I look more like granny!
