    Thanks Kseny for sharing this variation with us. When you continually remind us not to over exert ourselves and to remain relaxed it reminded me of one of the reasons why I love Qigong. It strengthens muscles and increases flexibility without the usual pain, suffering and inevitable muscle soreness and damage that is usually associated with modern day fitness drills,. "there is no gain without pain" philosophy where you end up radiating a certain level of negative and stressful emotions during training (clearly seen in our facial expressions :D). Although I do engage in other more intensive forms of aerobic sports I still feel that practicing Qigong has played a very important role in improving my general fitness and I got there through hours of calm, positive and mindful practice. It certainly does not have to be all suffering and pain to build and maintain good physical and mental health.

    This session is the best way to cap an easy Sunday relaxation routine to bust all the stress that have built up in our joints.

    Kseny I love your videos and find the relaxation ones very good. I practice the Eight Brocades. However at 58 years old I am constantly frustrated that I cannot bend over at right angles with back straight. Cannot even touch my toes. I am not over weight but I am over six foot tall. Can you recommend one of your exercises that will enable me to eventually be flexible enough to bend over with legs and back straight at right angles. Keep up the excellent videos.

      Hi there, thanks for your message. I'm glad you enjoy the practice and work on the Brocades. Honestly, do not worry about touching your toes at this stage. In Qigong there is a saying, ''You relax to stretch''. As you work through the brocades, notice which areas of your body are tight and need loosening up. Practice gentle neck mobility exercises, shoulders rotation and hips and lower back rotation to create space and relax the tight muscles.       Hi, a little bit each day is a good approach. If you are working on your balance, have a chair nearby to make it easier and more enjoyable. Then remove the chair once you feel stable, slowly lifting your leg up toward the chest . It’s important to not stress and force. Regular practice will help
