This is blessing me so much! I also remember saying I was going to lose my virginity at 18. At the age of 17, the Lord called me to repentance. That was December of 2009. God has not only preserved my body for my husband. But, more importantly, for His glory. Yvonne’s story is so refreshing. Thank you for this interview ❤️

“I’ve seen too much.” That Part. If I had know the sacrifice of choosing this path at 18, I’m not sure that I would have chosen it. However, I’ve seen His glory in my life and I cannot deny it. His timing has proven perfect in every area of my life. My career did not take off until 33 and I am waiting to meet my partner as a 35-year old virgin.

Great interview. Yvonne is my soul sister, we share the same birth date and we are living for Jesus and waiting for marriage at 37 😄 I have my copy of Bamboozled by Jesus and it’s marked all the way up. Every day I’m rereading it because it’s relatable and real. It’s an inspiring read and motivates you to keep going especially in the ways she weaves scriptures into her personal stories. May our godly husbands find us this year 🙏🏾❤️

I was deeply touched by this. I am currently in the fine print season of my life. I am kinda down about everything. I recently made a big mistake and Im so hurt by it. I am sad and angry with myself. But I am still holding on to my faith in what God promised.

Sis God loves you, you are the apple of His eye. He sent His only Son to die for you. No mistake will ever separate you from His Love.We ALL make mistakes big and small. The mere fact that you are acknowledging that you made a mistake is a step towards the right direction. 3 Naija queens winning! I felt the same way as Pst. Stephanie when I saw Yvonne on major shows like Ellen and Kimmel promoting the book - the gospel is being preached. It's really full circle with her and the Dr that she saw preach when she was 17.

I already had been married and divorced with two daughters by two different emotionally unavailable men when Jesus snatched me. He is SO good. Turned my whole life around. Once upon a time during morning worship, God told me I was going to get married. I sat for about 10 mins…I tried to process what I heard. I was not dating or seeing anyone. I told HIM I would purchase the dress…I am now married.
Bamboozled by Jesus is really the book of the year! It's so hilarious and entertaining. I was captivated.
Yvonne has blessed me. I love how she loves God and has a father and daughter relationship with him. Love her authenticity. I bought the book and can't wait to read it. It's the Audible Book, I'm excited.❤ I'm highly encouraged!
In the last part of the video when Yvonne say "who got to that person", "who told them" like that they can't rep Jesus I immediately thought about that Bible Verse where God asks Adam they same thing, when Adam told God something that God had never told him or made apart of his identity. Genesis 3:11 "...who told thee". So, true that we just have to live for God and live in the identity that He has for us and NOT what the world says. Great interview and vibe, really. God's love and blessings to all!
I was raised Catholic and I literally had a similar experience...I didn't know you could have a personal relationship with God. Changed my life when I joined a smaller church and now I can't image life without talking to Him everday.
Me + God = The Majority! Listen I'm over here crying and laughing at the same time... Like I really wish I could erase my memory and rewatch this all over again. I love you my 3 sisters on Abba's side and all my other brothers and sisters who may ever read this comment.

Love love Yvonne. As I sat here listening to these 3 awesome beautiful women, I wept for them as I reflected on my journey of singleness. I'm now 54 and have gotten no closer to the fulliment of Love and Marriage as the day I gave myself fully to the Lord at age 24. I watch year after year all these absolutely wonderful women constantly proclaim their love for Jesus/God and to be chosen for marriage, yet I dont see the testimonies happening for their mates manifesting. It's not that I'm not believing for them, I truly pray all 3 are blessed beyond their wildest hope. I have remained steadfast for 30 years, as well as at least 17 close girlfriends who have 30, 40, 50 years of singleness, all have served God faithfully, honored our temples and not one has been blessed with healthy romantic love. The only peace in the midst of the wait is truly that God provides me such joy, peace and wholeness while being single. I just want to for once turn on a show and see men saying how they long for a wife and asking God where she's at. The problem, is MEN are not seeking God for the blessing of marriage. They all deserve a wonderful man and a beautiful family and I sincerely hope and pray they will all blessed, they all such beautiful, smart, successful deserving ladies of the best!

On the other side of not being a virgin but waiting on God’s promises, I pray everyone’s strength! I think knowing God’s plans for you are very important. I encourage everyone, including me, who are on the same path but a different walk to continue to be STEADFAST. When I see women like Yvonne who are saving themselves at a mature age it scares me. 🤣It also tickles me because I can tell that there are still people on this earth who live on Kingdom time and not Earthly time Amen.
