Doesn’t surprise that people of Nigerian ancestry born and/or raised abroad retain and even celebrate their Nigerianess. It’s only those who barely left Naija just the other day with an inferiority complex and a huge chip on their shoulders who are always trying to distance themselves from the land that constituted their foundation. Keep doing you Yvonne! 😘
I noticed that too, but it’s probably because of what they went through before leaving Nigeria. I was born and bred in the UK but am comfortable with being Nigerian and British.
Great interview Yvonne! Weldone and keeep doing you! Your story is inspiring and I love how you are unapologetic in your journey. WOW! May God sustain you! I would love to have her as a mentor
I'm happy for you as a successful Igbo Nigerian entertainer. But never you forget that you're a Biafran first. Go back to your root becuz Nigeria is an illusion that wouldn't last forever. Don't get too comfortable thinking Nigeria is a country that will change for better soon.
She is not a Biafran. The is no Biafran and she has consistently made it known all over the world the she is a Nigerian and a proud Nigerian. Don't call her what she is not! She is projecting the good image of Nigeria. Don't bring Biafra here!
the other girl on the right is just always there looking uncomfortable. I dont understand why she is on this tv show. she is uninteresting and does not know how to engage naturally
The way she flips back and forth to her Nigerian accent, I love her she is so dope!!
She is simply authentic, intelligent, and extremely funny !!!
I think Yvonne Orji, is an inspiration to many, intelligent, beautiful, talented and real I love her
She is so genuine, May God bless her richly
