    I think it's pretty clear that they are establishing that all six of the primal forces need to be in balance for things to be OK. I mean, it's pretty easy to see that a world with Death, Disorder, or Void ascendant is pretty bad. And you can easily imagine the problems of Order ascendant - you'd have a world of stasis, where nothing ever changes.
    But it's easy to think that a world of Life would be pretty neat. I mean, we're life, right? The Everbloom and Ulderoth shows that that's not true. And while we haven't seen Light ascendant, I think the whole bit with Xe'ra and Illidan shows that it would not be all that pleasant.

  • @LadyTsunade777
    @LadyTsunade777 Před 17 dny +1

    I imagine the Genesaurs are an extension of the Life sector of the WoW Cosmology Chart.
    The Titans are pure Order - even Eonar, the Titan closest to Life, was still more loyal to Order and the other Titans than she was to Life.
    And let's not forget that each of the six points of the Cosmology Chart are ever working against each other in a bid to claim dominance of reality, even against the points adjacent to them.
    So when Kairozdormu connected our "Main Timeline" to the alternate WoD one, perhaps all six points of Cosmology took notice and renewed their efforts.
    We know Chaos was immediately involved, with the immediate heavy demon presence. Thanks to the Mag'har allied race recruitment quests, we know the Light has taken notice and started making efforts through alternate Draenor. And as mentioned in the video, the Genesaurs started invading the main Azeroth from alternate Draenor.
    So perhaps the Genesaur in the War Within alpha is a small hint that we'll be seeing gathering forces not just of Shadow, but of every point of Cosmology gathering to fight for control over Azeroth herself. (whom is heavily hinted to not even be a Titan, but something far more powerful, and something thus far Cosmologically neutral)

    The thing is, that the Chronicles are HEAVILY biased due to their author, Odyn, being a complete and utter bell-end of a bastard.
    Odds are, Draenor may not have been at risk of collapse, Aggramar just saw a world overflowing with a rival Power, Life, and created a servant to fight it back, catalogue the world and buy time until the Titans could send suitable servants to the world to reshape and 'perfect' it, but that got derailed when Sargeras drank the Fel Kool-Aid. There's also something deeper going on Draenors' past: the presence of an Old God on the world which was caused by the Void Lords blindly tossing Old Gods out into the cosmos hoping to find a World Soul to devour and corrupt to create a Void Titan. This nameless Old God would land on Primordial Draenor and it's presence would have resulted in the rise of the Evergrowth through the corrupting effects of The Void Lords on the local wildlife to drive it in the goal of devouring the entire biosphere: similar to how The Old Gods on Azeroth had created The Black Empire by corrupting the Aqir. After Aggramar showed up and created Grond to defeat the Evergrowth; this same Old God responsible for corrupting the Botani would then go dormant until it came into contact with the local Wild Gods that formed from the battle between The Evergrowth and The Breakers and corrupt Sethekk to it's cause no different than what happened with Neltharion when N'Zoth whispered to him.
    This detail is shown within Burning Crusade where a group of Arakkoa are seen in Shadowmoon Valley on Outland trying to commune with an Old God: Shadowmoon Valley in Warlords of Draenor was to the northeast of Spires of Arak, and if we remember our Arakkoa Archaeology: The Outcast Dreamcatcher has this noteworthy blurb for it: _"Outcast Arakkoa have repurposed the dreamcatcher not to ward off the Curse of Sethe, but to capture and harvest tiny amounts of essences from their lost gods. Rumors persist of an ever-growing mass of swirling energy buried deep beneath Skettis, whispering promises of power to any who will listen..."_
    Chances are, the Old God presence beneath Draenor had likely found a means to transcend spacetime through the Mag'har Recruitment Scenario and is likely working alongside Xal'Atath in order to fulfill it's grand design of corrupting a World Soul.

      Not sure what you mean. The Everbloom was caused by cosmic team Life, not void. Moreover, there was never a world soul in Draenor.

      @@0hvist There isn't any evidence for an old god on Draenor at all (interestingly the quest in shadowmoon valley with arrakoa during BC seems to be them attempting to summon one into the world from somewhere else...but they failed when we stop them) . Meanwhile, the Everbloom was created by cosmic team Life.

      @@laertesindeed not all powers are created equally, nor are they mutually-exclusive to being used or manipulated by another force: cite the fact that the Twilight Hammer Cult has a number of former Paladins and Priests among their number who once valued The Holy Light, or The Druids of The Flame who once fought for the sake of Nature and Life instead following down the path of the Elemental Lords and submitting themselves to Fire Lord Ragnaros.
      Is it really that much of a stretch of the imagination that at some point an Old God would have driven plant life to insanity to worship it and follow its' goals?
