Can we get a cammer at fault compilation for this year
Might hit the youtube max video length limit
The maximum length for a video is only 12 hours...........😂
That'd be every other video clip submitted this year.
Quite a few of them were at fault in this video!
T**T of the Year Compilation coming on Thursday or maybe Friday, might do Friday release as it’s the weekend 😎
We need a "Best of Dashcammers at-fault" compilation.
I've had clips in these compilations before and even I want to see this.
wow the 10-hour long special you mean?!!
I love to see that, but it would have to come in several parts or be hours long.
Agreed, but would 12 hours be long enough?:)
It would just be a repeat of almost every clip in this compilation.
Overtaking is one of the most dangerous manoeuvres you can do and yet the number of people who do it without seeing ahead is clear, is just staggering. So many drivers are selfish with no awareness of their surroundings
Yep. Even worse if they're overtaking a cyclist, as a lot of drivers have the patience of a toddler and can't bear to wait 3 seconds, so overtake when it's not safe.
That and idiots who pull out of side roads without looking
I've learned to take extreme caution with overtaking, been a couple of times where my judgement wasn't all there and it gave me the common sense to hang back until it's 110% safe.
@@CrisisOnACanoe as my instructor always said, if you're not sure, don't go. Only go when you're sure it's safe. Good advice that stuck with me
Agreed. People overtake dangerously, but also increasingly behave dangerously and erratically when being overtaken. It is not uncommon when performing a perfectly legal and safe overtake, within the posted speed limit, to have the overtaken driver flash lights, blare horn, or - my personal favourite - close right up to the vehicle in front to prevent the overtaking driver from pulling back in, thereby deliberately trying to provoke a head on crash. The standard of driving in the UK has become proper bottom of the barrel stuff, and lax enforcement (read none outside of speeding) is partly to blame. As is generally deteriorating mental health. Everyone seems to be angry and uptight.
@21:26 Little Alfie talks more sense than most of the people in this whole video. Love it every time i see this clip
He's wise beyond his years, just waiting for him to say "Shoe shine guvnor"
@13:34 i have to say that is piss poor hazard perception. Every vehicle in front of you has there brake lights on and you can clearly see the police blues/reds yet you don't react to anything until its way too late.
He made barely any attempt to stop even when he did see them. Surprising the coppers didn't do anything about that, I'd have had him over and given him a ticket.
@@streaky81 made they did, but he decided not submit that part of the clip.
If everyone in these videos paid attention to the hazard perception part of learning to drive there wouldn't be enough material to put together one of these videos every week, once a year at best
@@Tanson11 good to know :)
What gets me is he says fuck sake as if it’s everyone else’s fault
13:35 see when there’s brake lights ahead, it’s usually a good idea to anticipate or at least use some brakes yourself 🙄
He probably thought since he's in Lane 3 (or in his mind, the "fast" Lane) braking isn't required and speed is the answer.
@@nickidean3877 speed is always the answer in lane three.
So at 8:12 Chris uploads a video thinking the other car was in the wrong yet he undertakes then cuts the driver off then proceeds to brake check him? The fiesta should'nt have been in the right hand lane granted but Chris you need taken off the road.
Sam, you should change the dot on '8.12' to a : to make it a timestamp for quick access to that part of the video 🙂
Yup. Bit of a twat. "Wanna go, Son?" What a little baby.
0.55
I cannot even describe how much I hate these 'They've gone ,so I can go as well' people . For the love of god take responsibility for your own driving. If you saw someone just casually step out of a 3rd story window, would you automatically follow suit and assume its safe , just because someone else did it? if no, apply same principle to your driving!
Lemmings, the lot of em!
Adam, you should change the dot on '0.55' to a : to make it a timestamp for quick access to that part of the video 🙂
Not only responsibility for their own driving but for the sake of other drivers and their passengers well beings too
0:55 It's the attitude of "They are waiting for the car in front of me, so they can wait for me too" The idea of priority and safety goes straight out of the window. This is why it is so important to have a dash cam nowadays. Too many abysmal drivers on the roads. Although this didn't help me when I was hit in the side and the driver drove off. I'm getting a rear camera shortly to avoid this sort of thing.
9:05 pushed his luck and the middle finger was universal sign for "I have points on my licence and the DVLA loves me."
Or "I'm an abysmal driver and I don't care how many people I have to kill to prove it!" 🤣🤣
The most astonishing thing about the perpetrators on most of the compilations is that they are probably unaware of the enormity and give zero fks of the dangers they've put themselves and others in. Most drive like they have blinkers on.
And their eyes shut.
@@DarrenBoss1984 Agreed.
7:00 how long did the recorder have to react? How loing did it take them to react?
That's the worst thing about it for me, the way the probably just crack on with their day not thinking anything of it. Next time they do it someone might die..
@@Exodus_Johnson Just show's zero anticipation. 10 seconds to slow down and entirely predictable that the van would pull out.
First video.. Can we take a minute to appreciate how well that person on the motorbike handled the situation! Some folks would have just slammed on the brakes. They were very calm.
How stupid was the other motorbike though... overtaking a car which is overtaking a lorry
Chris S - What a numpty 😂
this video contains MANY examples of drivers suffering from MGIF syndrome. they MUST get in front, NO MATTER WHAT.
3:50 look at the speed at the bottom of the screen, cammer speeds up on purpose to block the overtaking car
16:26 Really, MattL? You're the one acting like the mini roundabout doesn't exist.
He didn't slow down or anything, wonder if he even looked.
Other van was already committed too, he had right of way.
The amount of idiots that think give way to the right means give way to people hundreds of yards away speeding down the road to the right.
24:42 That's a great way to make someone use lane one. I might try that.
Haha 🤣
Seen that clip in the episode it was on and tbf what you don’t see in the clip is the massive HGV she’s overtaking
Why would she use lane 1? The cammer was overtaking a few seconds prior so perfectly fine to be in that lane.
3:42 Phil H, accelerating to close up a gap when someone has already begun overtaking you is illegal. Your driving licence came out of a cornflakes packet, tear it up and throw away your keys, you’re a bad, dangerous driver
Car overtaking had plenty of space to pull in, there was no need for the car to just keep plowing ahead.
@@quickhistoryrevision8733 Phil H has gone from 33mph to 40mph, how is the overtaking driver supposed to know Phil isn’t going to go up to 45mph and completely shut the door on them? Clairvoyance? You might think it looks like plenty of room to pull in, but then you’ve not just had a dangerous driver keep you out on the wrong side of the road.
Yup Phil H accelerates such that he is still doing nearly 40 when he enters the 30 zone. He caused that.
Speeding is also illegal, but we'll ignore that part
I’m just amazed at the stupidity of the drivers coming out of a turning onto a main road with no regards to oncoming traffic 🤷🏼♂️
I'm also amazed by the drivers on the main road who seem to not understand that a junction is a hazard which should be approached defensively and with caution.
Doesn’t help when the car is 20mph over the speed limit around a bend approaching a junction, like on the clip with the truck and trailer
Should we even ask what you think of drivers that use the pavement as a road to do the same thin?
funny how 90% of these cammers refuse to slow down themselves untill the last minute but theyll sure lay down that horn the whole time
A horn is used to draw the attention of a hazard, not to take your anger out on it 😂😂
3:16 near miss/fatality of 2021. Unbelievable.
woah, the braking and reactions at 5:30 are damn impressive
That control on the last clip by the Merc driver. Obviously assisted by ASM and TCS but incredibly impressive given that the car had no damage. A big reminder of how dangerous aquaplaning is. Replace your tyres at 3mm.
No attempt to even ease off by the cammer though.
@@Richard_Straker there was, you could tell that he was braking gently and accordingly to the conditions and scenario.
"I got it, I got it, I got it....I don't got it...Whoa, I actually got it. Phew."
Didn’t look much like control to me. Had he been in control, he would have stayed in his lane.
@@Richard_Straker what did you expect with the zombie being in the middle lane for no reason!
Perfect for a Monday night 👌 thanks for the compilations!
Chris S at 8:13, some shocking driving
Very aggressive at something so trivial.
Cant see anything, can you show me the problem? It just looks like he sent a vid of him just driving normally
@@catrinamoy8101 go a little further back, he got wound up by the fiesta who wasn’t driving great either but he made it ten times worse by brake checking, what really annoys me is the excessive use of the horn
@@catrinamoy8101 er....how about:
Driving in the overtaking lane when not overtaking, probably speeding, aggressive driving, excessive use of horn, over taking on the inside, brake checking - and in general, driving like an incompetent egotistical child having a tantrum
I’m so addicted to this channel! Haha 🤪 I’m very glad no one in the clips were harmed or worse. It’s a worry how many want to gamble with other’s lives. Please be safe out there everyone 👍🏽
Certainly some VERY close calls here without a doubt.
How many of these so called drivers or maybe just people that have got cars, have had or will have a stack up at some time is the question here.
Thanks for this, a real eye opener and no mistake, and lots of lessons to be learned too.
10:33 oh i wish you had been a bit more potty-mouthed and Siri had picked that up! 🤣🤣🤣
MattL, Nestle called, they canceled you driving license, looks like the one you got in the Cheerios box isn't valid.
This is the ideal compilation to keep anyone on the edge of their seat! Glad to see that some got karma and hopefully anyone else that chances their luck should also get bad what they deserve!
10:22 Neons? What are we in, the 90's? 😆
Yesss beats Sunday nights this one
Going 50 round a blind bend. Top work
I will never cease to be amazed by the absolute balls of steel on these idiots.
Take the guy in the van at 7:10, the first overtake had enough room and was fine if he had pulled back in after overtaking Aidan but no, this absolute madman floored it straight at a fucking HGV to overtake the second car as well.
Of all the 2021 clips this is the one that scares me most. There was no way they would have survived that if they hit the HGV cab head on. All for what? A few seconds? Must have missed by less than 10 feet 😱😱😱😱😱
At a closing speed of over 100mph... That would certainly put your airbag and crumple zone to the test...
@@servicekid7453 Would have been a more satisfying video if they had collided.
@@PazBinv1 well maybe you’re a cold-hearted barsteward but most of us don’t want to see death and carnage on UK roads
Love this episodes!
Oh you’re spoiling us! Two compilations in two days - nice work! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I know right! Great work, UKDC!! 😁😁😁
14:05 - Dave, pick a lane mate - the guy cut you off because you weaved from the left lane to the right when you got onto the roundabout, probably thought you were going all the way around it.
Yeah he was all over the place. Started in the right lane, then moved to the left lane and then cut across to the right lane again.
Clearly Dave owns the roads
Both were at fault. But yeah as a biker I'm constantly telling people to pick a lake and stick to it. Frustrating as hell
@@legahsee1able
For a lot of these cammers, I'd be happy to make them stick in a _lake [sic],_ preferably under the surface. ^_^
That last one!!! What a save 👌🏼
A lesson for Sebby M to take more caution around learners.
Sebby's a right tool.
and to give way to the right
If Sim Carla had used their window wipers at 10:34 we might have seen what was happening
I thought that too.
Also too busy sending messages while driving
Don't think I dare to drive in the UK again after watching this. 😱
Good to see in the first clip that they've kept a hard shoulder on the smart motorway just for bikes...
There really are some epic level bell ends out there.
Prize for the most accurate and succinct comment on here today! 🤣🤣
4:06 S L not enjoying “a night like this” quite as much as Kylie! 🤣🤣
My heart is coming out mouth which this video 📷 of car and van and truck of bad driving but I love ❤️ your videos the best one I can't wait for the next time video and very happy new year 2022 #BadDrivingAllOfTheYearInTheUK
Neil M - the bright red things on the back of all the other vehicles are called brake lights, it's an indication that you might need to reduce from 53mph at some point! Pedal it middle will help once you've finished texting, thanks.
Love the way Orson hit the handbrake at 20:37, for good measure. Well, for some measure!
The kid in joshs clip🤣 we could have died!
Americans: this is how properly maintained cars should brake in the wet.
Bloody love Alfie.....hahahaha cracks me up everytime. So cute.
22:34 - Woody found Jesus just as he passed the church
2:16 that's on the Wirral, with the lorry coming off the motorway onto Woodchurch Road. I'm not sure if they're even allowed to turn right there, certainly never seen anyone try it before in my 2+ years of driving around here. I'd certainly never try it as it's a very busy road in both directions and you're almost doing a u turn in effect as the motorway slip road runs alongside the main road for a way.
I bought my first car just up the road from there and when I left the garage, I had to turn right and come down towards this overpass, took me about 5 minutes I was that nervous lol
21:28 Alfie is the best again - 2 vids running 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏆🏆
Clip at 7:07 is a road I drive on sometimes! It’s south of Ballymena in Northern Ireland!!
11:42 - A650 Bingley Road towards Nab Wood and Saltaire / Shipley. The drivers could end up in the place signposted on the left if not careful....
So many Cupid Stunts on the road.
21:30 poor Alfie he almost died!
Why do people insist on trying to overtake on a roundabout 😂
Thank you. I'm not the only one who says this. Undertaking, overtaking... What's wrong with maintaining a steady speed and distance to help all oncoming traffic flow better?
@@initialyze it boggles the mind. roundabouts are potential hazards. Why people go at them with such aggression I don’t know
Probably because alot of roundabouts have overtake lanes lol 🤷🏻♂️ and people are impatient
@@michaelbennett8509 what’s an “overtake lane”? 😂😂
@@army764 obviously a filter lane. Was late last night, couldn't think what it was called lol
Is this a upload on how to speed. ?
These videos should replace the hazard perception test!
The video is called "close calls" yet I'm still flinching every f***ing time
Almost just as amazing as the piss poor driving is how much people love the sound of their horn
D always honours his kamikaze code against an HGV. Well done for holding your ground bud.
Beeps at someone for overtaking them, while they themselves are cutting the corner 😂😂😂😂
4:04 There hazards came on - shows how hard they braked.
to be fair to the idiot of the car, the van clearly sped up and then slowed down causing the car to not be able to smoothly change lanes back.
@@Torsin2000 As did the OP when being overtaken.
I'll bet the saying "Fuhkeen 'ell" was said quite a few times there....
Life must be cheap in the UK. The amount of people willing to put theirs on the line with a head on with a semi for one car length amazes me.
1:30, yep there’s a bunch of yellow flashing lights and marked cars- best you just speed up and run into it.
is it just me or do u like seeing where people are driving to
I always seem to find my right foot reaching for the brake pedal watching these videos.
Me too, and ducking as well.
ARe the horns connected with the brakes? or do you need to use your horn to activate the brakes or why is enarly everyone using horns before braking.
Jaa. Wann kommt das PietSmiet react?
Sabby M @9:29. The basic rule of the road in the UK is, drive on the left and give way to the right. Please learn this rule as you appear not to know it.
note the left indicator, it's not an excuse obviously as she (sabby) is still at fault but I understand her a bit
To be fair, the Audi was indicating left instead of right, Sebby might've seen that approaching the roundabout and assumed they were going straight on.
True but you do expect the oncoming vehicle to attempt to go around the roundabout not across it, as at a reasonable speed. 😂
The Audi did look like it was turning left, it was wide on the roundabout and had it's left indicator on, then, it swung right a bit late, the passenger even appeared to say sorry.
Sabby should have driven a little slower.
@@MrR03ert I totally agree. The Audi was displaying L plates and also should have been going slowly to turn right.... Looks a though it was a late change of mind.
At 0:58 when D couldn’t think it could get any worse 😁
What do you do if you see a hazard:
A: Slow down and approach with caution
or
B: Speed up towards it and beep your horn repeatedly
Seems like the majority of these cammers select B
Darren, does the T stand for Twat?
omfg its dangerous out there
Can we do a "Serves them bloody well right" compilation, please??
WHY did the 2nd car in the 2nd clip stop?
Question unrelated to driving but can anyone identify the song being played on the clip starting at 1:21 by David S ?
LiSa - Rally Go Round
13:00 omg Penn Wolverhampton now I know to be careful😅
19:50 that’s a view no driver wants to see on a country lane on a foggy day 😱😱😱😱
Anyone have any idea why Romero decided to mount the pavement at 20:40 ?
Getting spoiled video-wise! 😁
10:30 - Who has a contact in their phone called "Afterthought" and why?
Probably a joke name for their child.
Some of these lanes are just horse and cart wide, but people belt down them as if they are on a motorway
Just got a dashcam today, hope non of my clips end up on next year's compilations!
Please don't follow the usual dashcam habits of yelling "I've got it on camera" at everyone 😆
24:00 the other driver tries an unorthodox method of trying to warn Steven of a hazard by blinding him to it.
Shocked I had to go this far down to find this comment. Literally blocked Stevens view of the sheep
Lot of people when they see something wrong just do a full stop ! Thats wrong ! many times its a lot better to keep the momentum and keep going
16:28 Ever heard of giving way to vehicles already on the roundabout?🤷♂️, if not, I think you need to retake your test 🤷♂️.
Shane obviously didn't check behind him before turning down the side road.
Don't the police have an email thar you can send the genuinely scary dangerous clips too? I would love that job!!
I was just searching CZcams for something to watch....
Not much classical music here but we sure hear plenty from the Horn Section!
If you can see a vehicle is driving fast at the end of a road..especially a large one then don’t assume it’s going to notice and get brakes on in time,if it doesn’t have time to stop then it’s not going to,look down side roads as you approach them to judge the speed of what’s oncoming
Surprisingly large amount of people willing to die just to possibly save a few minutes on their journey,
most, if not all of the other comments i agree with... but that aside, does anyone else look at the petrol/diesel costs and think "those were the days"!!
All the time! 😱😭
@@servicekid7453 i know right!! just don't go back and watch them from 2018 or earlier, frickin scary!!
If half of these dash-cammers chose an appropriate speed for the situation and showed some basic hazard awareness, these videos would only be half as long.
What do you mean "half"?
18:59 James nicely handled. To be fair to the Astra, with those 2 white vans parked where they are their sight line to the right coming out of that T junction is completely blocked. Can’t be sure of the distance but i would say the Transit is too close to the corner and so illegally parked
Its a Corsa
12:05 Why did Dave cross a double white line? Was he trying to stop the other twat from overtaking? If so, I recommend not doing that because they are safer in front of you, where you can see them.
Yeah whenever I see someone driving like a knob I just back off, not worth risking your life over it
Good job Chris S. Muppet of the day goes to you.
