I had it done in 2005 and I didn't have a period for 5 years. After tye fifth year I would only spot for a day or two, but only if I were around other woman that were on their periods. Then I the chance to work from home, so I was not around woman hardly at all anymore and the spotting just stopped. I found it odd, but I think my hormones got off balance being around other females when they were on their menstrual cycle. So now I don't have a menstrual cycle anymore. The procedure saved my life, I was bleeding for over 4 months straight, I lost so much blood thay I had to have 4 units given to me. So for anyone having heavy periods, I would suggest the Ablation.
@@artimasartimas4515 I had the procedure yesterday I feel great they gave me oxy Percocet at the hospital I think I’ve had 2 or 3 pills sense... no pain at all just tired and sick to my stomach kinda
I had an endemitral ablation in 2019 I don't have periods anymore but still get the same horrendous pain as always every month, does anyone else have this issue? 😅

I just had the procedure done Nov 30th. I'm still spotting. I am bloated, my diet was to eat soup and still eating soup. A solid meal has not happen yet and it's now Dec 10. I go back for a follow up Dec 18th. I also had a Biopsy done a 2nd time during the Abulation. So that created the pain and I was prescribed a Noco. The pain now is very minimal no heavy lifting no sitting on hard surfaces. I'm still have dizzy spells and no long standing. I delt with the heavy cycle for 2 years. I only went cause it just stop for 3 months and I thought I was pregnant cause I still have having pain. I had a tubes tied in 2005.

Abigail Rios How are you doing since the procedure? I've heard so many stories about unexpected weight gain that's hard to get rid of.
