Apple has a very strategic way of doing these designs. First they make a product and design that has some flaws, after that comes a new revision which is way better than the previous one. As seen done with AirPods. So make a product that is wanted/needed, use some catchy elements, but leave a little room for errors, so the further versions feel better. It’s all about making more revenue.

I don’t think that’s the real reason, more of a fortunate economic byproduct seeing as batteries take years to degrade, especially in something so power efficient. What you did not consider is what apples philosophy tends to be, that being appearance. If you see photos of someone using a Magic Mouse online, or a celebrity is using one in a video, or it’s used for something in a film, will it ever appear plugged in? No. Apple wants you to see their products in media and see an aesthetically pleasing fully wireless experience, something futuristic and luxurious. The problem is that comes at the cost of the consumer. Sucks to suck tho

My MX Master 3S's can't do that and after using those with the charging cable plugged in, I hate the feeling the cord introduces to the movement so at this point I'll gladly sacrifice having to take a 5 minute break and charge vs plugging in and using.

If you could use the mouse while plugged in, then many people would leave it plugged in 100% of the time and Apple thinks it would 'deter' others from buying it if people saw them wired while at the Office, Starbucks, College etc. It's all about marketing (duh its Apple).

I’ve read that theory too many times. If that’s the case, why the Magic Keyboard has the lightning port in the back and can be used plugged-in indefinitely? I believe it’s because of cost. You see, the old Magic Mouse used AA batteries on the back. When they went to a lithium battery, they didn’t want to change the design of the mouse because cost of machinery, supply chain, etc. So they re-engineered the old design to fit the lithium battery and a charging port. That design doesn’t has a place for a port on the front, so they put it under the mouse. It’s terrible, yes. But it’s not as bad as people make it look and, as a side effect, it keeps the conversation online around Apple 🍎

Apple has always had an issue with aesthetics, and mouse tails are anything but beautiful.
Why not just use a thin slider slide under the magic mouse with a motion detector to detect when the mouse is not moving and use a wireless charger under the mouse pad to charge the magic mouse?
A button on the slider could be used to force it into charge mode when needed, and in normal use I'd use a simple 555 timer to allow the user to select how long of inactivity before charging.
Many people shake the magic mouse when they first use it to find the cursor. The motion detector just needs to send a pulse to the 555 timer to disable charging and wait until the 555 times out from inactivity before enabling charging again.

Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen, but helium constitutes one-quarter of its mass and one-tenth of its volume. It likely has a rocky core of heavier elements,[16] but, like the other giant planets, Jupiter lacks a well-defined solid surface. The ongoing contraction of its interior generates heat greater than the amount received from the Sun. Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is an oblate spheroid; it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator. The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, with turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. A prominent result of this is the Great Red Spot, a giant storm known to have existed since at least the 17th century when telescopes first saw it.
Surrounding Jupiter is a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. Jupiter's magnetic tail is nearly 800 million km (5.3 AU; 500 million mi) long, covering nearly the entire distance to Saturn's orbit. Jupiter has 80 known moons and possibly many more,[6] including the four large Galilean moons discovered by Galileo Galilei in 1610: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Io and Europa are about the size of Earth's Moon; Callisto is almost the size of the planet Mercury, and Ganymede is even larger.
Pioneer 10 was the first spacecraft to visit Jupiter, making its closest approach to the planet in December 1973.[17] Jupiter has since been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, beginning with the Pioneer and Voyager flyby missions from 1973 to 1979, and later by the Galileo orbiter, which arrived at Jupiter in 1995.[18] In 2007, the New Horizons visited Jupiter using its gravity to increase its speed, bending its trajectory en route to Pluto. The latest probe to visit the planet, Juno, entered orbit around Jupiter in July 2016.[19][20] Future targets for exploration in the Jupiter system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of Europa.[21]
