The thing for the last one is that it is a smarter robot than others do it has sensors, so it wouldnât bump into a wall

I feel like a missed opertunity with the beer tracker is to give the holder a bottom that the can sits on rather than a friction fit. That way you're able to imbed the air tag in the base, eliminating the need for the bump on the side as well as doubling as a coaster.

I'm guessing this is more foolproof, the coaster you could leave behind if you're holding the beer, it sounds like a good idea though
Wont work just tried it....too flimsy because of the clearance unless i made it tall, not worth it....to much to print too aswell as interference from the can
Even easier, get one of those foam beer can holder that you get at events, put airtag inside with the can, bob's your uncle.
Easy Solution: I live in Australia, we have these things called a "stubby holder" all you do is buy one you like, choose an area on it that's unimportant and stick on the air tag (counterparts for Android are also possible)
Buy both from Amazon stick them together and you are done, enjoy

Home defense robot vacuum; if any burglars try to break into your home while the vacuum is awake, itâll have an alarm and strobe light that go off, and some form of self defense, preferably of the pointy variety. Not only will it clean everyday spills and messes, and protect your home, but in the case of it catching an intruder, itâll also clean up any blood, completely removing any trace of them.
Maybe to boost audience participation, you can ship the inventions you end up making to the person.
that's a good idea but it's also sorta enabling. I wouldn't want to ship anything to someone who told me to 'Fix.'
I see your point, but he's also monetizing people's ideas (which isn't bad, it's smart!). Constantly coming up with new ideas is exhausting for one person. But like he said, only a couple in one thousand are good. So giving them to the originator would probably increase quality ideas! (Also he should throw in a disclaimer, like for the beer invention 'Will not include airtag' that way it's not super costly to him.
It wouldn't work he would lose over 6$ per ship (adv) if you times that by how many inventions it can add up to over 30$

A stylish garage for the vac. Maybe have an automatic rollup door with a sensor to open and close with flashing lights (like used on a utility truck). could have its own broadcast system... cleaning commencing in 1 minute.... The exterior could mimic the look of the building your are in with a light up "Unnecessary Invention" light up marquee sign.

love your videos Matty. Here's my unnecessary idea. I'd like to have a device that cleans the inside of the windshield while I clean the outside of the windshield. Cleaning the inside windshield is awkward and literally back breaking. đ
Build a flag pole (put it on a spring/flexible rod so it doesnât get stuck when it tries to go under something) on the vacuum robot so you can always identify where it is in the room so you can never loose sight of it! đ€Ł
I was going to say a similar thing except without the flag and I was going to say that it could be that way you always know where it is so you don't trip

For the robot, maybe make a vertical dock - something that picks the robot up and tilts it 90 degrees, alowing it to charge but also sitting flush against a wall so it takes up less space

I think the robot should have an air freshener, so it makes the whole studio smelling good.
Design the remotes like a restagular box with the 4 remotes at different sides, removable for battery changes and ofcourse color coded.
This make it to take less space and also much more usable in our day today life
Make the robot vacuum into a phone-taker-awayer! Add a retractable chord to it so that when it's nearby, you can pick your phone off the top and get your unhealthy dose of social media. But, when the vacuum is far enough away, the chord pulls the phone out of your hands, stopping you from getting too much screen time. Then the chord retracts, so your phone is dragged all over the studio.
But there's another use; an exercise machine! You have to keep following the robot around so it doesn't pull the phone out of your hands, so you get to burn calories while you scroll twitter!

Invention Idea: forwards and backwards facing cameras, that streams to your mom, so she knows you are cleaning up after yourself.

A usable unnecessary invention for the remotes would have been a remote "log" that allows the remotes to still have their IR emitter visible but keep all remotes attached to each other. No more slipping in the cushions

would be better to have a handle for the can, also, attach somewhere, like an arm or leg, maybe 2 positions, 1 a magnetic snap to your waist, 2 a chain on it holding it if you drop it but won't really disturb when it's full and you drinking it. but the best would be a small disk floating after you and the beer would be stabilized with a gyroscope on it, so it won't spill, and it would open and deactivate the stabilizers when you put it to your mouth.

You should make another confetti cannon for the roomba. At random intervals it would hunt you down and shoot you with confetti. The confetti gun would be on the top facing forwards kind of like a tank.
For the Roborock S7 you should make a water gun that shoots coffee or any other liquid so that it always has something to clean up

I'm not sure if I'm late, but why go looking for your beer? Attach a cupholder to the vacuum so when it comes around to you, you can pick it up and drink it (the beer...not the vacuum). Also, keep the airfinder on the cup holder so you'll know where both are, and will be prepared for it when it arrives.

For the awesome vacuum, make a dispenser that clips onto it to pour out a mess infront of it to make sure it always has a mess to clean

7:20 this would actually be really useful for me being visually impaired as most remotes look similar now and it makes it difficult to differentiate between them from time to time.

Make the robot your exercise coach!
Add cameras with facial recognition and speakers with preloaded motivational messages, so that whenever it sees you it recognizes your face and tells you to do an exercise!
The best part is, even if you avoid it to not work out, you're still working out by walking!
And if to help those stubborn people who don't want to work out, maybe add a taser or some fart spray too.
Pfft! To add on to the end of your comment, maybe just a vinegar spray, like a spray bottle. Maybe even fill it up with water to cool yourself down!

You should build a harness for your vacuum cleaner, to take it to outside walks and face band, so that it does not hurt outside world ground with cleaning.
Also, you might build and small movable door below your main door, like for pets, to give your lovely vacuum a chance to walk outside, whenever it wants. Also, see some clothing for it, so it does not get too cold outside.
Sometimes, if your house is clean, just to feed your vacuum petty, organize some kind of vessel to feed it with dirt, where you can spill or drop something intentionally and also garbage collector for you lovely petty vacuumâŠ
3 things....
1. You could have made the beer tags either into something that worked like a coaster where it held the air tags under the beer or you could have at least made a handle onto it, so it also functioned like a mug so you both keep your hands from getting cold and keep your beer cool by avoiding having to wrap your warm hand around it.
2. There is already something that works like a scarf that can also cover someone's face like a mask and it is called a balaclava
3. The remote thing is cool and everything, but what if your remote still relied on using IR lights to hit receivers? Would it be easy to pop them out if needed or what? Maybe it could have been made so that each remote could have faced away from one another with a little slot opened on each end so an IR emitter could shoot through the hole.

Idea for the vacuum: Make something like a parkour for the vacuum, like with ramps because it has carpet recognition!!!
For the cordless vacuum make a place to put your camera so at any time you can check on it and if you can you could use those tracking things so you check where it is

My suggestion for the roving robot: make a cover to go over (universal to fit most roving robots) the top that will create ramps on all sides that will go to a golf ball cup and flag on the top..The person would try to putt the golf ball to go up the ramp into the cup next to the flag on the moving rover robot..There needs to be holes in the ramps to allow vision for the sensors..That all could be printed by you for sure..You could use green for the ramp, white for the cup, and red for the flag as those colors are seen on the golf course a lot..

I think a better air tag for beer is to make an attachment for the bottom of the can where it has an inverted dome, and it sits there where it rests on the table under the can

In the case of beer tag invention, the mug like design would be great instead of a sleeve as the tag placement can be changed to bottom and a handle could be added to it's side.
Wouldn't a cooler for the can be better? Cans generally have a pocket at the bottom you could simply have the airtag inside that pocket. Then you're not only able to track you beer but also keep it cool :)

I used to have a cat that made finding the remotes quite easy.
Just look under pher but.
Now though I've forgone remotes & TV's. By just moving to a tablet for everything. Then I can easily move it around so I can lay down or sit up as my aching back dictates & since it's generally permanently affixed to my hand I rarely lose it. But I also have the Google finder enabled.
My phone on the other hand keeps hiding.
Idea for the robot:
Built in cat bed that pets your cat for you
You should make a new case for your robotic vacuum that has wood cleaning fibers around the vacuums sides that will automatically be able to moisten and clean wooden objects it brushes against. Set zones were it would apply the side cleaners cleaning agent and pattern to clean wood undersides in set zones.

Similar to the beer can, how about this as an idea for a invention. A key ring that makes a loud beeping noise when activated by an app from your phone, No more lost keys. Then on the keyring have a button that makes your phone play a noise via a simple magnetic cap. So if you lose one or the other you can find them relatively quickly. Unless you loss them both.
For a good invention is like a glasses detector because I always forget where I keep them
RoboSlap- make a usb conected to the robot so if you mess up on your work or somthing on your computer it will slap you and make it kinda smaller -Or mini robot to clean up the messes on ur desk or put both ideas together and its the desk robot

Remote idea- Mega Remote, basically a stick with 4 sides which you can attach remotes to and switch between, use all the remotes at once.
