One laptop holder is more secure, the other looks way cooler. Ultimately I’d go with neither because I don’t wanna get mugged
Imagine instead of a hand, it's a hand holding a gun
Fr
@Don't read profile photo ok, i wont
@Don't read profile photo Terminated…
The unnecessary version is both cool looking and secure.
I think you're just supposed to leave the laptop holder on, not reapply it every time. Just hook the strap on to it when you wanna carry it
I was never very good at reading directions. That makes more sense.
@@UnnecessaryInventionssame
Exactly what I was thinking!
@@UnnecessaryInventions I still find the hand more appealing, would be nice if you could sell your favorite inventions!
@@UnnecessaryInventions you guys can read?
I think the sticky thing is designed to stay on your MacBook, not be removed every time lol. That’s why it has holes built in for the air vents when in use
Yes😂
6:36 the sticker peel is kinda good it proves how secure it is
Yeah, proves the adhesive ain't crappy

also, somehow my most liked CZcams comment (that I know of) so ty!
I cannot tell you how nervous I get everytime you bring out that hand Mac holder
Same bro $2000 if it breaks
Instead of running I could just watch that video on repeat to get my heart rate up.
Same i get so nervous every time if he drops it it is gone…

As Drew Gooden pointed out when he reviewed the work onie, there are literally zero advantages and several disadvantages to making it a onesie. Just wear pajama pants with a dress shirt.
Glad Drew's review was brought up because is as thinking the same thing. Especially hilarious was his review on trying to use the bathroom with it on lol
I mean it is called “unnecessary inventions”
@@wardrich "The hole in the back does not stay open unless you are physically holding it open. If you let go, it will close itself back up. So in order for this to work, you have to sit down on the toilet, hands behind you, gripping open the hole in your pants the entire time."
@@angle3808 ik right
Yep
I think the point of the sticky laptop holder thing is to keep it on there permanently. I don't believe you're supposed to constantly put it on and remove it. And personally, I'd buy it for that reason. I'd also buy it because, no offense, the hand doesn't look like it will hold securely. Maybe it does, but it's that fear that would keep me from buying it. Anything that goes on easy, makes me think it comes off easy.
i go on hard and come off easy no offense dont buy me

The best part of their vaccum broom is you do not have to put the dirty bristles up above your head :D
"I don't have to be the best at everything"
Literally the best advice and most humble words from a youtube video
Agree😊
Love this series idea. Counterfeit Clash, Copy Crisis, Stolen Showdown, Copyright Conundrum, Theft Test....the titles write themselves
Lol
I love counterfeit clash
@ThatWaterGuy More Like China.
Lol
I honestly think there's a case to be made to patent these kinds of products for the sole purpose of keeping people from creating mountains of cheap plastic garbage trying to cash in.
On the other hand, I could see that laptop strap being CRAZY useful in a number of use cases. From someone working at a data center, having to move from server to server to plug in their laptop, to a college student moving between classes, to basically anyone who is using a laptop while expected to go between places constantly.
Swiper no swiping!

You should call this series “Unnecessary Reviews” or “Unnecessary Knockoffs”!
Unecessary greedy companys.
The laptop "holder" I think was supposed to be stuck on the hinge area, so that you dont have to rip the adhesive everytime you want to open the laptop
It’s not a knockoff of your idea, it’s a pretty simple idea that a lot of people could think of
I mean on most of them he said it’s probably not a ripoff
@wombly_1068 yeah thats... what he said in the video...
the adhesive on their laptop holder can also hold dust, hair, dirt, and other things that LOVE sticking to sticky surfaces, the grabber has a cartoony and smart design.
It's not really adhesive tho it's that micro suction cup stuff on phone holders that is washable and reusable
The reason the knock candle cannon thing didn't work is the shape of it. Air cannons work best with the telescopic round shape.
I haven't seen your video on the Candle Cannon, but it looks like a mini Airzooka.
And also if you noticed, there's a hole underneath. Looks like the hole is where you slide the handle
air canon was on Helen 13 years ago and that wasn't new
Also noticed that everytime with the knockoff he was letting the recoil push the cannon down thus aiming the air at the body of the candle instead of the flame.
Yes but....
Does everyone forget there's a fucking giant slit on the bottom where you put the handle ?
Of course the air will come out from there.
It also seems a bit disingenuous to lay claim to a grade school science experiment, but that's neither here nor there.
UNNECESSARY IDEA:
So you know how when you look in the mirror you see everything backwards? Well what if you make a mirror that reflects the right way. I know you can just look at a phone, but your phone isn’t full body. I think it would be cool to see your full self how the rest of the world sees you.
That would freak me out. "Me" is the the image I see in the mirror
That actually exist im not sure but i believe its called a magic mirror it was made by an artist just look it up
that's quite necessary
Action Lab did a video about this actually. Would be pretty funny to see this channel do it though
@@TheMindRobber42 which video was that
I like how this guy is soo humble and not soo pride, arrogant and stuck up unlike some others.
Cat bed that pets your cat for you, w/ maybe even a built in food station? Maybe attached to a roomba??
Watching him do the laptop holder is totally like watching a infomercial where the people are always the dumbest people who can't do the simplest things. Lol
i was thinking the exact thing. that part was annoying lol
Isn't it great that he's smart enough to use all those machines that he has but not smart enough to realize you're not suppose to remove something that has adhesives applied to it.
Ok adhesive rules for dummys, peel one side and apply to item. Peel other side and apply to item. All done and no ripping glue to get it apart.
@@scottrich976 that's not what anyone meant. People are referring to where he thinks you're supposed to take it off and on when in reality it's meant to be applied and left on
Game reviewer moment
When I watched the fake Walmart controller protector video, I really liked it! I’m so glad the comments said that it should be a series😁
Love your videos with the Candle Cannon(TM). We have worked with many inventors who share your sentiments after finding knockoffs. But patenting can be expensive, so I am working on a system to help inventors DIY for the patent application to make this accessible to inventors like you who make the world better!
As a creator, I love your content. I have followed on FB for a long time. Not all your inventions are useless, and watching is fun. You are further inspiration for me to maybe start a channel.
The only complaint I have is the vaccum broom:
They already had this invention from dirt devil like 20 years ago
The newer one's probably a whole lot more compact though, right?
Lolol nooooooo it’s almost the same dude look up cordless dirt devil vac f19 (f19 is the bag but it has the picture of the og! Literally the same

If I were forced to use one or the other, I'd definitely take the adhesive Mac holder just because it looks WAY safer. That said, I suppose the best option would be combining the two, i.e. a smaller adhesive cover that the hand hooks on instead of the grip. Though the cover wouldn't look as nice as that one which covers most of the laptop.
The adhesive laptop holder is supposed to stay on, and you can just open up the other side of the laptop so you never take off the holder
I love your channel, your videos and mostly your vibe, confident and dynamic, love it and makes me feel good and confident ❤🎉
I had a massive air cannon like that when I was younger. You pulled back a bag on the back with elastic and it made a massive amount of air come out. It would probably move a cake. yours is like a tiny version of it. I believe it was called an airzooka.
It takes a healthy amount of confidence to see your beloved product, compare it with competition and then just say "Yeah theirs is better. I love it." .
ngl for an inventor, he's got his bright moments. but his dumb moments got me screaming inside lol
I would definitely buy your air Cannon because it looks more fun and it looks solid the little pull back balloon on the other looks like it break in a few uses
6:50 I don’t think you’d have to do it every time if you put it in the hinge side. It looked like it had vents, but, even without, when you open the laptop, the non-adhesive line would bulge out
The vabroom seems a little more efficient because I don’t have to flip the broom over to use the vacuum
i testify that your inventions are great without a doubt.
"I don't want my computer all sticky"
That one kid: aaayyyyooooooo
9:57 nice 3D printed cover that does nothing other then make it look good LOL
For your knock-off product they have a cup that you can put milk and cereal in it and it keeps them separate til you take a drink.. its like your never soggy cereal bowl.
to be fair, ive been seeing them in shops since the early 2000's
@@randomcow505 children have been around for years
@@Little-v- no those were invented in 2003 remember? before children we only had oversized toddlers, which later grew into undersized teenagers
I don't particularly love the idea of my laptop being in plain view in public while I'm casually walking, so I'd say neither
4:29 I would not trust that
8:44 Now I present to you, The Meth Begone Machine
These inventions are so cool! But I’ve just realized that the MacBook cover was probably meant to stay on the MacBook. It looked like it allowed the MacBook to open so you could just take it off and use it, then close it and put it on. No hate. Just a thought
A CZcamsr reminded themselves that they didn’t have to be the best at everything. My faith in humanity has been restored.
You seem like a normal guy ... but you, sir, are a genius. Thank you for making the world a bit more bearable.
7:20 I would just grab my laptop backpack instead. Both of these products look unsecure.
DUDE
You really pulled a 0-brainer on that laptop holder.
ARE YOU TROLLING US???
CONFESS, INVENTOR, CONFESS!
Maybe it was on purpose, like those retro infomercials of people purposely messing up scrabbled eggs.
1:30 they used to sell a big version of the air gun thing at spencer's gifts. like, 20 years ago.
Your first product made me remind I used to play as kid with a kind-of candle air cannon made with a plastic bottleneck and a ballon tied over the bottle threaded edge, then i loaded it with a pebble and use it like a slinger to shot cans, aim practice, and so on. Locals called it ball shooter(closest translation) or "tirabolitas" in spanish
7:57 "or other little things"🤨🤨🤨🤨
I loved this one! Great idea for another series to expand the channel. :)
As a Drew Gooden fan hearing the name “Work Onnie” (however it’s spelled) was like a jump scare I wasn’t expecting XD then of course you brought up the buttflap and I couldn’t stop laughing. Now I just need to rewatch his video apparently
By the way your blowout the candles idea reminds me of something I would build as a kid using a hair curler and a balloon wrapped on the other end. We would load pebbles and shoot them out at stuff.
I believe you’re supposed to leave the sticker on the MacBook. Use it with the holder attached. And it’s more secure.
Yours definitely win in everything! ...except the broom, sorry x'D
Flipping the broom upside-down is fine until something gets caught in the bristles and ends up on your head instead of the dustpan, but everything else is no contest!
Sick air max 90s
I love your invention way better then Knock-off version
Hey I just want to say I really enjoy your content and it’s originality. Also mad respect for your skills.
Glad you made this a series

He is so kind and creative I love his videos
this is for the the damages 😫

My family had a sweep and suck in the 90s, it was called the Dirt Devil Broom Vac. wasn't great if i'm honest.
omgosh we did too!

My Nana had that and, yeah, wasn't great.
My mom passed a while back and after my dad passed more recently we were going through their house and I found one of those. Thinking it would be useful I brought it home and yeah, it’s just awful. 🤷🏻♀️
I really really admire you. Not only not claiming that everything was your idea, but the ones that obviously were your idea first (like when they even stole your picture) you didn't get upset about. I see myself as a very level headed person but that would really frustrate me. Also, giving fair and honest assessments of the products, and especially realizing and stating that sometimes you can't be the best at everything. That's something that a lot of people still can't grasp about themselves. 10/10 video, my man!
yeah, i actually am considering buying that broom vacuum
5:00 I think they were more inspired by the optional shoulder straps for Toughbooks.
Thanks Bro For Wishing me Birthday On 2:37
It was actually my birthday lol
Happy Birthday 🎉💐
It's pretty cool how they not only stole your ideas, but also figured out a way to remove the functionality!
8:37 my ear drums were blasted out of my head
4:50 unless someone runs up and takes it 🤦♂️
"unnecessaryinventions"
someone could do that either way, this way is just hands free
For someone always making things, he really has no idea how that laptop holder works 😳
The candle canon reminds me of trying to make my own BB gun when i was about 10 - Basically I got cardboard tube after throwing away the aluminium foil , cut the back end of a balloon, tied it normally and taped the hole over the tube. It wasn't very precise and only lasted about 20 shots, but it would send bb's across the room lol
Unnecessary always! 🤘🤘
Absolutely loving this series. I think you mean copycat not counterfeit though!
I think the Free Agent Outfiters Laptop Holder is meant to stay on your laptop and make it so you can open it while it’s still stuck to it
I think another plus of the wonnie is that on the zoom call if you accidentally stand up they look enough like actual pants that no one would think you’re wearing a one piece pajama
11:07 THE ONE PIECE!
THE ONE PIECE IS REAAAAAAAL!!!!!
Can we get much higher? so high
Hey, a great way to make something good out of a not so great situation!
12:45 he looks like he is wearing jeans
For the laptop. I would go with the adhesive one versus the hand. Mainly because I can keep it on my computer at all times I wouldn't need to take it off so all I have to do is close my computer and throw it around my shoulder. Verse the hand you would have to take off every single time second is that if somebody tried to grab it from you and run off with your laptop. They're going to have a lot harder of a time doing it with the adhesive one then the extra grippy hand grips.
@9:47 - I honestly thought that was a Fleshlight on a broom 🤣 that would be an interesting way to clean haha!
Yesssss! You made this into a show! I love your channel! Can you make a pizza de-cruster.
3:30 "You can't buy mine so it doesn't matter" - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Bro this guy is amazing “I don’t have to be the best at everything “
I like that laugh he did after his broom broke .. 😂 just got me laughing too
Considering your Candle cannon, is literally a mini knockoff of the air bazooka that was sold all throughout the 00s, very ballsy to call it your design.
Great video ! Your inventions are genius! Where did you get that shirt from that you were wearing in the video? You’ve got good taste!
Yass make another one!!
Candle blower we had in 2000 or even earlier in Europe, used to be sold in Dollar store equivalent and included with candles. He seems like a cool guy but noticed couple of products on his episodes from 2000 era infomercials, probably not intentional.
shit dude that first one you invented like 25 years after I first saw one of those being used that's fucking impressive. kudos!
I remember building candle cannons as a kid with tp rolls and balloons…it was in craft books
Freckle intro is solid.
im pretty sure on air cannons the round shape of the barrel is important to it functioning... so im not surprised the amazon one didnt work
We had fourvabrooms at a hardware store I worked at, they never sold so I don’t know what people thought of them and eventually the warehouse bought them back lol

You should reserve the rights to some of these inventions, just saying. And keep up with the amazing content!
For the broom I would go with the Amazon one because you don’t have to flip the whole broom
A DIY version of your candle cannon can be found in the klutz encyclopedia of immaturity. Used an oat can, a balloon, and some rubber bands...
I love your stuff more than others ❤😊
