Oh wow, I was looking at how to do fine work as I’m tooling a child’s purse with a little design. Now I know I have to buy your tools
Thanks, glad you like it.
Awesome! Great to see your tricks!!
Thanks Bro!
Thank you for all the great instruction. You’re an amazing artist. Makes me want to go in the shop and get better.
Thank you very much!
Just placed an order. Wish I'd had these when I was working on my carousel horses piece. Thank you for the instructional video.
Awesome thanks!
Nice work!
Thanks Dave!
Very nice....
Thank you!
Totally great video! Thank you.
Thanks Joni
Wonderful video brother and very informative love it!!, I agree the angled blade does allow for you to see right behind the blade so you can know where your going.
This is also a very calming video with nice angles and presentation.
Thank you very much!
As I progress my work has become very tiny. Thank you for this video so so helpful!!
You're welcome, thanks for watching.
Well done! Thank you for sharing your experience. This is extremely helpful with some of my current efforts.
You bet, thank you
Very helpful, learned a lot. Never really learned how to use the modeler tools
Awesome, glad to hear.
That's so beautiful, wow
Thank you Michelle
Awesome project!
Thank you!
Oh my goodness. I need these tools!
Thanks Patricia!
WHAT SORT OF LEATHER IS THAT? IT'S QUITE SOFT AS YOU USING THE BALL TOOL IT ENTER QUIET EASY AND WITHOUT WET IT
It's regular Veg tan leather. It is wet. I cased it before I started tooling. I think it looks easier since the video is so up close and the tooling it so tiny.
Are you using Hermann Oak leather? Very nice work that is amazing looking! I hope to be there someday.
It's been a while. But more than likely it was from weaver. That's where I get just about all my leather. It is their standard stuff. Not Herman oak. Whatever was a good deal at the time.
@@TonyAllenBernier thank you for the response. I haven’t used any quality leather yet and I need to order some soon. I really want to try working on some good veg tan that burnishes well when tooling. I have been using leather from Tandy and I noticed it doesn’t hold its burnish very well when it dries and I case it to the right moisture content wait until it turns back to its natural color but still has moisture inside the leather and I start cutting beveling tooling and re wet as needed and it looks really nice when wet but then dries and doesn’t look near as good as it did when I first tooled it and I’ll oil it and get a little color back from the oil moisturizing it but it looks nothing like the work I see online from others like yourself. I know I’m nowhere near as talented at leatherwork but I’m wanting to try to do some tooling on quality veg tan and see if it’s the leather or if it’s just my lack of experience and knowledge or what it is. Have a great day.
Qué bonito gracias
Thank you, You're welcome.
WHAT IS THAT BEVELER TOOL YOU ARE USING, IT'S LOOKS LIKE AN SCREWDRIVER
It's one of the tools I made.
hi! i just wanted to place an order for the tools, but i can not find on etsy. Can you help, please?
Hi Carmen, unfortunately I don't have any tools made at the moment.
Hot soapy water and an old tooth brush will remove your polishing compound from tools since it's on a heavy grease base. I know this from years of polishing jewellery and tools
Good advise, thanks Carol.
