Just found this while looking for windscreens for my Lumix gx85/80, very useful, thanks a lot!

I have tried a fur elastic hair band around the lens of my A6000 - that fur will just sit in front of the mics on that camera model.
I'd look at something like that - attach it from one strap lug to the other perhaps.
Also I'd recommend attaching the fur to the flash only, It will then work wioth the flash closed and just moves up with the flash popped up.

I use the small ones on mine. They've been on about 9months and are still fine.

Great video and interesting (extreme) test. Wind is a problem por P&S, but, as you said, I can't see them staying of after a couple of trip in and out of the bag. For a location shoot and installing them just before shooting, they could work. But definitely not for travelling or casual shooting.

Yeah especially the two fuzzy ones. The felt one I think would stay put mainly because it is just so low profile it would stay out of the way. If you used 2 sided tape to get more adhesion those would stay put for a long time. I did mess with the clear and thin command strips this morning and found that the big grey ones stayed on very well with that. The Littles ones were hopeless though.

    Nice video.
Just the right amount of random so you know it's a Burress video :-D
The second ones sounded really great and if you can hack something together it is really sweet.
    Cheers,

Do they make these for human use? I wonder if old guys can hear better with ear hair.. 🤔

Yep, nature does that. As you grow older you will get a lot of hair in your ears to reduce the wind noise, and a lot of hair in your nose to filter pollution!
