I own the Meike 35mm and it looks indentical as far as design goes, I love the Meike lens also I purchased mine brand new on Amazon for just 50-60 bucks and the quality overall is amazing. One of my favorite lenses in my collection
Great review... Love your style ..for video it looked great
7 artisans 35 f1.2, kamlan 28mm f 1.4 kamlan 50mm
I think these images look great. And in many scenarios better than overly sharp lenses where people are too focused getting things sharp and not focusing on the message and the mood.
Triple as good 👌🏼 nice vid!
can you do a video on what settings you use to record your youtube videos? i love the way they look
How's it compare to an old ebay manual focus lens +adapter?? 🤔
Have you tried any of the bigger 25mm F1.8 manual primes? Not the mini C-mount ones. MCOPLUS is selling one.
Christopher, what APS-C Sony do you use? I notice a few years back you had an A6500.
I love watching your videos, especially with your accent 😉
Shanna Smith .......
It’s probably better to roam ebay or similar for some vintage glass. Of course quality will varry a lot and some luck is needed to get a good copy. Some russian glass like the Helios 44-2 and Jupiter 9 is quite good.
I have a Sony a6000.
Have several manual focus lens and I have enabled the in-camera focus peaking.
When you say there are no contacts on the rear of the lens, does this mean that the focus peaking - bright red in my case- will not be visible?
It will be visible, the focus peaking does not require in-lens electronics to work.
How about test some full-frame lenses, like the 7artisans 75mm F1.25? It's an M-mount. Leica has one that costs almost $13,000, but the 7artisans one costs only $450. Wonder if the 7artisans one is any good.
There's a full-frame manual 35 F2 that doesn't get great reviews. I have the Meike 50 F2 that nearly covers full-frame.
@@QuietOC Cool. Thanks. Great idea to get fullframe lenses if you plan to upgrade your camera to a fullframe, which I did. The 7artisans 55mm f1.1 is a good artistic lens. I might want to get the 28mm f1.4 instead of the 75mm f1.25.
Not too sure why anyone would be wanting to purchase a budget lens after having sold a kidney to purchase one of Sony's, no doubt excellent quality, but sooh expensive FF cameras?
Btw: a6000 is still an affordable camera, now mainly thanks to Sigma, with a quality range of primes. However, whilst I will upgrade the a6000 (but retain current body as a spare) the a6400 is hardly cheap and the a6500 doesn't appeal at all. For the price, may as well purchase mint 2nd hand A7 series FF and purchase some Sigma Art primes and zooms as the Sony GM lens range is very expensive.
The Sony fullframe cameras are quite affordable, especially the older models. Although I have a hand full of AF lenses, I tend to have more fun with bargain vintage MF lenses.
Woah how did u do that shot from 46-50 ? Looked like cinema robot type shot . Tutorial please
I've got a video on it ;) czcams.com/video/7raSuWTBjSE/video.html
bro wtf was that shot at 45sec? @00:46 genuinely curious
Tutorial here czcams.com/video/7raSuWTBjSE/video.html
Wow awesome brother thank you so much!
This looks a lot like the Kaxinda/Meike/Neewer 35 F1.7. I have a Fotasy 35 F1.6 that's very good and only cost me $45. I like the more compact body on your Mcoplus.
Mcoplus, Meike, and Neewer seem to share a lot of products. Probably throw Kaxinda and Opteka with them too.
Probably all made in the same foctory with different labels applied.
Will this cover a full frame sensor?
It does not.
@@ChristopherBurress I actually just got to the part of the video where you mentioned that lol
@@ChristopherBurress Thanks! Love these Does It Suck videos :)
