Watched the Dis for a long time back when Dustin was on. Watched weekly religiously. After Dustin left I had an uneasy feeling and wondered why. The live show over the years slowly turned into the Pete show. I watched less and less every year. Very sad news all around. This show played a part of why I now live in Florida and went after some dreams. I searched for Dustin a few times over the years looking to see what your up to. Great to see your face and that your doing well!

So he wasn’t just an alcoholic but also a predator😡😡 I knew that he wasn’t a good person the way he treated his employees and I also noticed how he always had his arm around Sean in their dining reviews and others, but Sean never touched him. Maybe John and Kevin didn't know about the SA, but Pete acted inappropriately with this employees on air, so they had to know the toxic work environment he created, but turned a blind eye because he was making them money. Even if you remove the SA. how does John M and the others in leadership not know about the terrible behavior? Just as someone who has watched for the last five years too many people quit or fired, and in relationships as an outside observer, I knew it was not a healthy work environment.
I’m so sorry you went the this. I’ve been a Dis unplugged and The DIS fan for many years. I knew he had issues but never realized how bad it was. The people that worked and are still working at these companies don’t deserve this an you all need our support.
I was bummed when you left the DIS. Never understood why such remarkable talent like yourself, Charles, Deni, Jenni, and others bolted so quickly from the program. Most companies try really hard to hang on to exceptional talent.

I always knew Pete was an arrogant SOB, and one day, i think before COVID, I was done with him and the DIS. I cannot believe, that John, Kevin, and Corey did not know how he treated people.. they should have stood up for people. It has to be hard for them to sleep right now.

Hey Dustin,I started watching the Dis after you left.i really liked the show.I liked Pete and his rants.But when Steve Porter and Corey Fiasko,and Charles left I had that feeling that something wasn't right behind the scenes.I haven't watched the dis in a few weeks because it just wasn't the same.then when Pete went to rehab and left the show I knew something wasn't right.i wish you and the rest of the staff all the best.stay strong man.

Sorry that I am late to commenting. I just wanted to say that you are so brave and I am so happy that you are able to share your story. That in itself is a big step and you have my full support along with many others I am sure.
Even if you remove the SA. how does John M and the others in leadership not know about the terrible behavior? Just as someone who has watched for the last five years too many people quit or fired, and in relationships as an outside observer, I knew it was not a healthy work environment.
I’m so sorry you went the this. I’ve been a Dis unplugged and The DIS fan for many years. I knew he had issues but never realized how bad it was. The people that worked and are still working at these companies don’t deserve this an you all need our support.

I was bummed when you left the DIS. Never understood why such remarkable talent like yourself, Charles, Deni, Jenni, and others bolted so quickly from the program. Most companies try really hard to hang on to exceptional talent.

Dustin, I'm speechless man. First off, its GREAT to see that you're doing as great as can be given what you've gone through. I sincerely hope that you press charges against Pete. It stinks to even say that since I USE to be a fan of Pete. But after getting details on your story, Sean's, Steve, Charles, etc, Pete needs to be in jail where he'll have no problem finding "boyfriends" to mess with. Stay strong Dustin!! Congrats on finally being able to speak your truth. Are you going to press charges on Pete, The Dis & Dreams Unlimited Travel at all?

Dustin and Shaun, as a viewer, we could see that something was going on with Pete. Viewers saw and heard how he treated people on air. We knew it was worse off air. I always knew Pete was an arrogant SOB, and one day, i think before COVID, I was done with him and the DIS. I cannot believe, that John, Kevin, and Corey did not know how he treated people.. they should have stood up for people. It has to be hard for them to sleep right now.
