Well this is certainly an interesting video that popped on my feed...considering the times we are in.
I assume YT put this in my feed because of recent events. Anyway, Dustin was gone when I started listening to the podcast around 2017 so I am glad to see how wonderful everyone says he was on the show, despite the private horror he was experiencing.
Same
Yes, I did because of recent events just came upon this, was interesting to see how everyone came into this show, thought others would be interested also. If not appropriate then remove this
So weird that this got recommended to me right now, considering what has happened. A really good movie could be made out of all of this.
wow look at how happy they all were here even craig was making jokes that were funny.
So true, everyone on the show gained 50 lbs ! lol
I MISS THE OLD TEAM:(
Watching old videos, and i have to say that Pete is getting younger.
3 years later, I still agree!
Yup me too🤣❤️
So this comment still rings true about Pete. This video has been out for sometime and happy to find most of the show still continues in 2023. Very great full for all the years the DIS Team has grown and changed too support us❤
I love this episode! Maybe consider doing another one of these types of shows where the newer people get to talk about their journeys to The Dis.
Especially Charles considering his past
oh my goodness Pete, really want to give you a huge hug right now. thanks for all that you have accomplished. meeting all of you is NOW on my bucket list.
I am so happy you did this episode and I was able to learn how you became a team. I wish to thank you Pete for creating all that you have done. I found the DIS boards many years ago when I was in a low place and it provided me with a sense of belonging being with like minded Disney fans. Going on the DIS boards was the highlight of my day. I absolutely love the addition of the You Tube channel. You will never know the joy you have provided me with over the years and I am grateful for all of you. May you have continued success.
Pete 1:17 minutes "and the money will come" ... thanks to AMEX lol
Watching this episode 6 years after it was posted, and about 8 months after discovering the channel...I loved hearing everyone's stories. Thanks for sharing. I agree, Disney is my happy place, the sad things don't follow you there. It's such an escape. 💕
What a great show guys. Pete you are always the most humble and sincere (you all are). Thank you for your amazing talent, your continued devotion and love for the show, the company and your friends and family of the Dis. I will forever love Disney and forever love your show.
I'm new to The DIS but a life long Disney Fanatic ... I'm so happy to have found you guys ... thank you, its so awesome to know there are others like me .. and thank you for sharing your stories
This episode should be re-broadcast by you guys from time to time. It's so great.
Thank you for his show. I have been listening for a bout two years, and never knew how this tem came together. It was beautiful.
OMG what a video! Brought me to tears a couple times. I'm going through a moment now where I'm trying to determine how I will take next steps in life. This helped immensely
I'm almost crying. When you , your family are in a difficult time of your life, this gives you hope. Since I discovered the show, I don't miss one episode. I feel the same as you Pete when I'm at Disneyland Paris, a friendly world when you can escape reality. But now even if life is sometimes difficult, this is not just escaping real life, it is a part of our life. And it is so different. It's not only the parks, it's discovering amazing people sharing same positive and good values. I'm looking for planning a trip to WDW for 2016 and I also hope going to one of your cruise in ta couple years. Thank you and excuse my english. I'm french, nobody is perfect lol.
Disney fans are people who love happiness and want to share it .. I feel that is definitely what brought you together .. i am from Daytona and have family there still now but I live in SC. I have been going to Disney since I was a baby (born in 1971). I try and come down once or twice a year.. I wish I could live near Disney and do what you guys are doing .. so much fun helping other people have magical vacations 😂😂😂😂❤️
I recently found DisUnplugged and am a new subscriber and I absolutely loved this show. What an incredible group of people and their enthusiasm and love what they do shines through. Thank you for all you do and Congratulations on your success!!!
Beautiful! Thank you all so much for sharing! Thanks for coming into our home on Tuesdays (and other days)!
This was so wonderful! I have started listening when you first went on video while searching you tube before our fall 2013 trip but have caught up and listened to all the past podcasts. While I have heard some of this before something about this segment had something special. Very touching!
I found my love for DIsney in 2010. I had never been to DIsney and did not know anything about Disneyworld. After one google search I found the DIS boards. I have learned so much the past few years from the boards. I want to say from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU!! for creating these wonderful boards. They have made my vacations enjoyable and very memorable. ~Rhonda
Your story is POWERFUL Pete!
I’m in tears
Beautiful episode, Team. Pete, I so get you. There is no other joy than true gratitude for a job well done that others acknowledge and appreciate.
oh my!!!! loved this show!!!!! such amazing stories each and everyone!!!! love the Dis!!!
This was one of the best shows the did has done I loved it
I loved hearing everyone's stories- great show!!
Pete's first trip sounds so much like mine. Down to the money sectioned out each day with paper clips. I also completely understand the feeling of walking in and the feeling and vibe of disney feeling like the high of addict behaviors or even self destructive ones. My trip to disney completely changed things for me and I'm now in the how do I get back and how do I make this my life mode.
This is precious! I love this! I adore you all!
Pete
I love hearing you lift the team up
☺️
You are blessed
I've started watching the DIS a few months ago and just the other day I was thinking about writing to you guys asking for a "get to know us" show cause I wanted to know a little bit more about everybody...I felt so inspired with your stories... specially with this quote by Pete "follow your passion, the money will take care of itself" I truly hope this to be true for me as well... Thank you for doing this show! Keep up the good work :)
What a great great show. I've been watching now since January of 2014 and I am greatful to get to hear some awesome stories that I have not yet heard. My mom, my brother and I love Disney. We have gone to Disney world around 8 times in my life and it is amazing. I actually want to sit down and write a book about Disney world. I want it to be a mixture of travel tips and just overall Disney World information. Thanks for what y'all do.
I've been on the disboards for a while but just recently turned on the podcast! Enjoying the content and getting to know the team!
Awesome show!! Thank you for sharing your stories!!
Wow what a great group of individuals that make up the DIS and Dreams Unlimited. Thank you all for sharing your stories and of course your love and knowledge of Walt Disney World!
Great stories it’s nice to hear great beginnings
Thanks for sharing your personal stories.
Such a great and enjoyable show :) Thanks
wow look at how happy kevin is here and now how grumpy he is now. Back then he was very thankful to be apart of the company now he seems disgruntled.
amazing show guys! have not laughed outloud to my computer this much in a long time!
Pinocchio's song of "There are no strings on me" is in the new Avengers I bout cried from excitement!!! I love the tradition of Easter eggs in all the Disney Movies!!! Love you guys so much thank you for doing what you do!!!!!!!
Glad I found this! Thank you Pete for following your Dream! Memorial Weekend Craig and Kylie came up behind us right before Happily Ever After. He. seemed to be hosting a group of people so we didn't say Hello...but we took a selfie with Craig behind us lol...! Love the show keep up the great work guys! Very informative and helpful in making my own vacation plans!
You are all so sweet..I love hearing your stories and being part of the DIS family :)

This was an amazing episode!!!
I love this show!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for doing this. Hopefully we can hear JeniLynn's story.
stunningly beautiful Pete ! Peace Love Joy and Disney!
Pete... I don't know if you read these comments. But I want to tell you that ...this was like a 12 step meeting. I've been sober (not drugs or alcohol, but BELIEVE me - a SERIOUS addiction) since 1999. And everything you mentioned throughout your segment regarding addiction and recovery had me nodding my head...including moving myself towards death and by the grace of God, I'm here.
I loved this show...because now I have MET the others. I have gotten to KNOW you, John, Kevin, Corey, Teresa, Dustin, Craig, and Ryno - and my feelings for each of you -and the DIS- have deepened.
I was left only with the curiosity of where Walter fit in, and how you and John have been able to remain such great business partners and friends after moving separately forward - but honestly, that's none of my business. I just admire that you have and have built this into such a wonderful business.
God Bless EACH of you. You will never know how you touch the people you have never even met. Thank you!
This was a great episode. One of the most enjoyable I've seen. I might be a little behind, but is Shaun no longer with DIS? I really liked him. Really nice person who added a lot to the show. Would've liked to have heard his, Kathy's, and Jennilynn's stories. I'm assuming Julie came to the DIS via Cory. Is there a follow-up episode to this with their stories? Just the same, great show and keep up the good work. Really enjoy watching. I've been going to WDW since 1977 when I was 12. The Orlando theme parks have been and always will be a big, enjoyable part of our lives.
I'm so glad CZcams put this episode on my radar. It was a delight to watch.
Unfortunately it takes in a new meaning knowing what was going with Pete and Dustin. Pete is the worst.
How do you feel about a $900k Amex bill that may ruin the company.
@@scottcarter7108what are you talking about
@@wickedwood04 Pete is no longer with the company. He resigned among sexual assault allegations and a 900k Amex bill on a company card his partners knew nothing about.
Pete's weight loss is noticeable... keep it going!
vedekbarb yeah, I only started watching a year or so ago...Didn’t realize exactly WHY Pete needed his beloved Keto diet!
Excellent show!
Love the show.
I friggen love Pete so goddamn much! I so want to read a book about his life. He has had some epic battles and he's come out stronger on the other side.

I wanna work for Pete
Loved the episode! thank you all for sharing your stories (and not just the good parts). very moving indeed. John is still my favorite (can I be Kevin's sister wife? lol)
Theresa also handles a large portion of the company's official mail particularly from fans and for DUT! This is because the mailing address at the base of the Dis Unplugged website and I also think the DUT site is for the Welcome Center. There is another alternate address buried deep on the contact page but it's hard to find and a PO box.
Nice episode. Thank you.
Just and FYI they did introduce a summer program this year for the College Program. But it is only for Alumni which i think is smart! They get extra summer help and students get to work for Disney again with out having to worry about it taking 6 years for them to get their undergrad.
This is a great video. Very inspiring to know y'all's stories
Great show...you'll get a chuckle out of this but for the longest time I thought Teresa and John were a married couple. I caught a part of a show where they exchanged something about a trip they both went on how great it was then she mentioned the kids and some how I though oh how nice they are married and worked together...I finally caught on and figured out the family/friends DIS tree in the last few months...whoopps! Pretty funny...thanks for all you do and share.
Michelle Girouard funny, i thought the same thing at first.
Me too! lol
Love ya Pete!!! *HUGS* And all the crew, ya'll rock!!!
I'm a Communication major about to start my Disney College Program! I would love to work for The Dis one day :)
just found this site a few days ago and thought Pete was saying "From the Bob Marley Studio" LOL. now I understand.
Predator Pete.......
You people have a great knowledge of all things Disney, I have a question for you. Which attraction has a box near it that has H. Abiff on it? This is a test for all of you.
Best show ever 😊
I thought it was a close second to the show on autism. Well done!
I'm am autism mom and I can definitely relate to comments about leaving the "real" world and going to Disney where everything is easy, happy, as it should be. It is an escape from the therapy, meetings, assessments, doctors and whatnot. This is how my family came to love Disney. Now going into our 5th trip since 2011, Disney is more than a vacation , it is part of why my daughter interacts with people and made the gains she has made. 😀 I just have to convince my husband to move to Florida!
I have Autism and global joint pain amongst other thi. I am also very opinionated and love to talk! I LOVE the Dis team. I think I’d make a fine consultant as far as Special Needs and the attractions go. Problems: 1. Haven’t been to Disney World since 2006, 2. Price is too high snd my family could never remotely afford to return or even live in Orlando, 3. I don’t do Drop Towers or Loop-de-Loop coasters and I am too physically frightened to go anywhere near Haunted Mansion. I love other roller coasters and am a speed demon that thrills on moving fast.
and in addition to everything else Teresa gets almost all the mail sent to the podcast by fans since the Welcome Center address is the mailing address at the bottom of the Dis Unplugged webpages! I think the alternate mailing address for business purposes is in c the contact us section but you actually have to click to that, The Welcome Center address is much easier to find
Watching this I laugh because I have worked alone for the past decade 99% of the time, yes I lost my mind long ago lol.
I remember Dustin calling in to the older shows ⭐️
I'm also curious as to why Shaun is no longer part of the team.I loved the exchanges between him and Craig.
Craig is rocking that old school Atlanta Braves cap!
Great close Pete!
This was such an amazing show. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am grateful to have found the DIS. You bring such joy to my life. Thank you for sharing so much of yourselves.
I have always wondered who Bob Varley is. I'm sure some know but i came to the DIS podcasts late. Would love it if sometime you could answer that if its a story that could be told.
Just looking at Pete infuriates me……
Why
@@wickedwood04 have you been following what’s been going on lately?
Awwww Craig
Werner is a POS for what he did to Dustin
Yay! Lynchburg! Now if only Dustin was still with the show
This episode is bittersweet with what’s going on now. Makes me sad.
yea i emailed about them about that why is Shaun no longer apart of your show anymore?
6:10 1985!!!??? I have underclothing older then you LOLOLOLOL.. Great Show!
Gross!
What happened to Dustin?
Creepy to watch in 2023
Why did Shaun leave?
Nick penn i have been asking this for months and NOBODY will ever respond...
show got too gay for him LOL
Wow, Dustin really is a mess here. I guess Pete was so enamored he couldn't see it!
This was a great show. I never knew how much adversity some DISzers had leading up to their joining the team.
Where is SHAUN
Who's here in 2019???!
I’m here from the future. 2023 just as this enterprise is imploding. Such a shame.
Wait till ya see 2023🎉
Funny to see younger Rhino and Craig
Where's Steve?!
and FYI if your show needs a personal chef im def avaiable :)
What about Oliver??
Oliver is new, he wasn't on the show back then.
Jizzboards
Wait… so ryno knew Dustin 5 years before this episode, but didn’t know all the creepy shit Pete was doing?
@martinwheatley7218 Sean is a good friend.
How weird for this to appear in my feed today.
how much do these people get paid?
thank you, not understanding the cash flow of the show at all. makes everyone seem either retired with free time and lots of capital to blow on disney. or the young guys that seem again possibly to come from some inheritance, not sure how they can support going to disney and dining as if its a normal place to dine.
Very Very rich people is the vibe, with Lots of free time. There is not a chance this show generates enough revenue for even a single persons lively hood let alone a cast of seemingly 10+
gka';skerwer Pete owns the the disney travel agency that sponsors the show & everybody else works for the agency in some way. It's quite possible their yearly passes are tax deductable because it's technically for work.
Thanks, Making a difference does matter :)
Craig has always been weird!
Ummm, you know...
Does this cancel Craig?
This didn’t age well… 😬
