  • Disney made a nasty public statement about WDWNT. This is the response from Tom Corless regarding that remark from the Disney PR team. When WDWNT ran an article citing an anonymous source who said Bob Chapek would not be attending Destination D23 because Disney didn't want negative reactions from the crowd, such as booing, Disney PR went into full damage control mode, but perhaps they took things a step too far and made it personaI.

Rude cast member who wouldn't accommodate a member of my party who couldn't walk without extreme pain. They have removed experiences with no push to replace them. Newsflash you can now buy cigarettes at the resorts, but they are hidden behind a counter near the booze. Line jumping was the worse ever. Try waiting in the handicap line at a resort and 2 young jerks on scooters cut 6 scooter parties in front of them. Disney did nothing and allowed them to do it, despite the yelling of the people in line. Really who needs that. I was told that the CMs that monitored this had their last day yesterday. Then you had CMs apologizing because they were doing the job of 4 people. Bob Paycheck will realize this year they got the money from people with no real deals this year, but they won't get their money down the road. The refill resort mugs had an awful smell/taste to them from the manufacturing process that made them unusable. Paid for Photo Pass and missing 2 sets of photos. One I could live without by the set missing from the MK Christmas Tree irks me. Lightning at the World Showcase at night was so low that it was a hazard. I ordered a burger at The Land and just died when they pulled it out of a warmer cabinet. I ordered the breakfast platter at the resort and it was great. The next morning it was cold and half the portions. You can see where they cut back and it is disgusting.

@@kxk2328 You can make that argument for the Marketplace side of Disney Springs and even The Landing, but the West Side now is strictly worse than it used to be. Nothing new or interesting has been added there in an eternity and instead things have only been taken away. Disney Quest was a remarkable attraction in its own right that was allowed to deteriorate and become dated, and in its place they had the brilliant idea to install a cash-grab NBA Experience attraction that immediately bombed because shockingly it turns out that far more people who visit Disney World care more about Disney than the NBA. Meanwhile Town Center is filled with ordinary clothing retailers that can be found at any other decent outdoor mall, with generic theming to match. On any given outing to Disney Springs you aren't missing anything by skipping Town Center - that's how much of a missed opportunity their usage of that space was. Downtown Disney being smaller is irrelevant when a huge chunk of the expansion is just wasted space.

Tom I love that we can live rent free in Chapek's head. When he leaves he can evict us

We need honest reporting of what Disney is doing and planning. Using their legal muscle may be "legal" but it is far from moral. We appreciate your channel, as well as others that don't kowtow to Disney, giving us the straight ****. Me and my family have cancelled trips to WDW because of Chapek's actions. He's the enemy of Disney fans.(BTW, I wish I could "like" this video more than once!)

You are 100% right. Bob is destroying the WDW brand. I used to be a huge fan travelling to Orlando so many times from London. After all the new changes I would spend my money elsewhere.

“Leadership means that a group, large or small, is willing to entrust authority to a person who has shown judgment, wisdom, personal appeal, and proven competence.” -Walt Disney
Now would be a good time to get back to the founder’s core values of leadership.
