- Showering is easy while living on the road. Even finding a shower is difficult. Today I took a cold gallon jug shower.

I’ve taken a 2 liter shower! I use the “Simple Shower” which is a straw connected to a shower head. If you use a Pepsi 2 liter bottle it’s sturdier- well rinsed out. Fill the bottle with water , screw in the simple shower to the bottle. Turn upside down to use. I just got a collapsible sink to try for my hair.

Shower bag . I'm probably mr 5 billion to mention it. I use one while up and away in my neck of the woods. Self heating in the sun, packs away small, handy nozzle to boot . Navy showers are one thing, and I am one of three trades that are guaranteed a shower a day. Cooks, medics and the lowly hull technicians- DC guys to your navy. I did 8 years RCN, after 19 in the infantry. Oh how I loved not having to dig in.
Diane, My grilfriend was Diane Ross. Not the black lady that sings, she is a while lady on the west side of Youngstown , Ohio. This is all over with now. One can do everything just as she wants to do. I take a dollar store sand bucket and put a little water in the bottom of it. Get me a rag and wash my whole body off. Then do my what is left of my hair. Bald on top , grey on the sides. Or I use a camping solar shower bag from good old Walmarts to let it heat up outside then shower on down outside. Or I get a brandnew sprayer, in one gallon or in two gallon hand pump jugs. And lastly another choice is walmarts rechargeable shower. The one end goes into the water have to mess with it a bit to get it working then shower away. USB rechargeable too. I have all these different ways to shower or clean up. Used to hitch hike around the country and the way I got cleaned up was in gasstation bathrooms with papper towels. Then I would go to rest stops and hold in the button for the water and wash up some kind of way this way. Just embarassing all the people coming in watching me clean on up. I am an older boy scout and a scout is prepared as much as he can be. I still have my merrit badge books some of them and others that I have picked on up. I also have a paintbucket from a hardware store five gallon, and line this with a plastic shopping bad and go in this. The pool noodles can go arund the top of the bucket for confort. Or I get a toliet seat for a five gallon bucket and put this on it. There are conposting toliet to make up too. A five gallon bucket line with a plastic bag, only nuber two in this one, and add in some potting soild untill it is covered. Then it can go back to the earth when all broken down again, around trees and stuff. The third option is a five gallon bucket lined with a plastic shopping bag and filled with saw dust, both 1 and 2 can go into this bucket, when filled up to the top just cover it up and start a new bucket. I have an orange little scoop shovel from the camping section of Walmarts for digging the cat hole too. Hope some of this is helpful. Just a little bowel and a rag can get one clean. I like the sand bucket from the dollar store and am still using this one. I have a few of the solar showers here at home. And I have the sprayers too. Just put in warm waters and take the sprayer part off, and hose one down with this. And I have the rechargeable showers too. Not just talking here. My mom is around 38 d and one has her all beat. One washed up the twins so fast I missed it. Ha Ha Ha. Its good to be clean out on the road. Hobo shoestring and others, like to go into rivers to wash on up. Or lakes or where ever they find water. Scooter tramp scotty goes behind building and finds a hose and cleans on up. He uses the river and lakes too. He sleeps out in a tent and with his Harley Davidson too where the places are abanoned. Just sharing one some ideas to pick and chose from. Paul in OHio
Next time you recycle one of your water jugs, save the cap. Make several small holes in the cap, and use it as a nozzle. I'd bet the water would go further...

In my pre-rv desert camping days I had splash bathing down to a science. I used the blue 7 gallon jugs with a spigot

You just need one of the hanging camp showers from Walmart. Holds maybe a gallon or two, possibly 3 . You hang it up and one side's black and the water heats up from the sun. Has a little shower head on the hose. Works better than pouring a jug over your head. You don't waste near as much water. I use one when I go camping, hunting or to the races.
You're alot braver then me. I have a membership with Anytime Fitness since they're open 24/7 and most of them have showers. I guess it gives me a reason to workout since I'm already there 😅. Thanks for the video.
Go to home Depot, get your 2 gallon garden sprayer HDX I believe, get you a water hose sprayer, at about 3 or 4 extra feet to the line that comes with the sprayer, get the fittings to attach everything together and there you go, seems to work out pretty well it holds 2 gallons and it does a real good job, you just got to pump it up during your shower so you have water pressure ♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸

Oh man i wouldn't have needed coffee after an ice cold shower either and oddly enough i have taken a gallon shower before but i think i used like 2 gallons and it was worm lol i know now bragging lol. Thanks for the great content Diane see you in the next video.

You can buy a product called No rinse body and No rinse shampoo. I still will rinse it off a little bit, but it saves on water. I find it leaves my hair feeling a little oily, if I don't rinse some of it off.

Once it was so hot in LA I come home and filled the tub with cold water and just slipped down it felt so good. Brucie must smell pretty. Dogy at times, I can not believe that the Olympics will be help in la in August.

Barstow truckstops or even the KOA in Yermo would have been better..lol... Being an Army Veteran, I've taken many a steel pot shower & shave..lol.. Bruce is really trying to get that ground squirrel, lizard, or snake.. Hope he doesn't get that last one..
Suggestion: camp shower from Wal Mart. They’re ten bucks and hear your water for you. They’re a life saver in the field.

You could make a solar shower with PVC as a rooftop shower, for around $150 or so, but the problem with that is the weight, the roof on the trailblazers only rated at 150 lb Max, so you would have to take off the factory roof rack and take out the headliner inside the truck, and have a guy fabricate heavy duty rails and mount them through the roof from the pillars where it's the strongest and will hold most of the weight, and add crossbars so that the weight is distributed to the outside wall of the truck that way it'll handle the weight with no problem, and now you would have a much stronger rack on your roof that you could load a lot more stuff on and it'll take the weight, 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸♥️
