Side note, the M247 Sgt York is an interesting Armored vehicle, we spent a ton of money and time trying to get it "right" but the Army never could sort out the bugs, amazing it's just sitting there rotting away, it would be nice to contact the US Army Armor and Calvary Collection to see if they could restore it, Nicholas Moran, aka The Chieftain has a great video touring that site, lots of cool tanks, anyways, side note over.

I rode across Nevaea a couple couple of times. North South from Oregon to Reno and on to Las Vegas. And once from Southern Oregon to the opal beds and back.

Great vid! I've been wanting to explore that area. If I go to Sand Mountain again for Halloween this year (clusterf@$k but fun time) I just might have to shoot over that way and explore during the day - theres a trail that'll take you there from the park. I like that there's groves of trees out there - could be a potentially good place to camp 🤔 Some of those little roadside bars have amazingly good food. Ever been to Brunos in Gerlach? Great food there. Homemade raviolis - like going to grandma's house 😋

I have often thought that that my father worked undercover for the US government. My father was attending UC santa Barbara. I think he infeltrated the beginning of the. SDS, and radical student organization that may of committed bombing. Once we we to a mansion. In montecito near Santa Barbara. He took me as protection, one of the attending. Was a major industrialist my father asked him if he was a communist and he said yes. We got out of there.

I was with the 24th MEU 2002-2003, we went into Iraq- The Nassau went to Bahrain during this time. The 22d MEU 2004-2005 again in the Nassau- I cross decked with the next 24th MEU on the IWO Jima in 2005. Over seven years on the ocean in my career. As a Marine I had the opportunity to ESW on the Tarawa (LHA-1) in 1995. Still Love my time on the Big Blue - to this day I have my Corpsmen on speed dial.
