For me it's the same, but due to something different - how we play. It's not that I go into every game expecting to lose, it's that when I start watching we play so bad I'm completely desensitized to the emotion of the game. Well, maybe it's all the beer I drink to tolerate it LOL

It's like being in a 'Groundhog Day' the same team starts every game, they play like the last game, 1 or 2 shots at goal again, same subs again at the same time again, get pinned back in defence till the end, then repeat!
Joe Gomez should play at left back, he's younger a physically stronger than trippier, don't know why southgate plays him all the time.

The way he praised Trippier for his defending and made it seem like Luke Shaw is just some left footer coz they needed one is hilarious. Luke Shaw fit is one of the BEST LB in the WORLD!!!!

Last game when Shaw came on he made one overlapping run and drew the defender, which gave Eze 5 yards of space to shoot.
If he's fit enough to make that run and be a threat, that's miles better than forfeiting the entire left side.

@@jacob3936 I hear you I just don’t think anyone is ready for the conversation that the team is just as overrated as the manager.
They overthink this "the player hasn't played in months so can't come back in" stuff, it's been proved so many times. Varane & Licha for example hadn't played in months, Varane a couple & Licha many months, yet both game back in against City in the Cup Final & were huge in United beating them. Shaw was absolutely fine when he came on against Switzerland & played well. He's come instantly back from injury & played great for United too.

I'm fairly balanced about it all, but what I don't understand is why nothing much is changing when it hasn't worked for 5 matches now. That left hand side with trippier has not worked once. We have Gordon there itching to offer runs down the left hand side, which has been a massive problem, but he's only played 5 minutes, and in that 5 minutes, he played a line breaking pass which resulted in our best move in the entire tournament.

That's where left footer Saka plays all the time. By the way most teams play left footers on the right wing and and right footer on the left wing. I don't think that's an issue at all.

It’s going to be a Spain-Netherlands final, a rematch of the 2010 World Cup. There is no way this England team deserve to be in the final, not after the way they’ve played and advanced. Shaw should start, he virtually had 50 MINUTES PLUS The adrelin and tension of penalties. Trippier has been poor as a full back in all the games, not just as a left back. What are we expecting 0-0 till 60/70 minutes. Then bring on Shaw,we can go for it with a balanced team and more attacking threat. Konsa has played better and would be a better option.
