Bro the look of horror on Tara’s Face is enough to put the viewer in the place of the character. Both Jenna and Melissa were amazing.

I love how the girls burst into the store clearly in distress, and the one customer only cared about them cutting in front of him.
That entire exchange is the one VERY accurate New York thing. He was pissed they cut in line, but the second he noticed they were serious and Ghost Face barged in, he wasn’t afraid to jump in and protect them.
That’s just NYC.

He was pissed until he saw Ghostface barge in
Well, he died so maybe this is lesson for everyone that if two clearly distressed girls barge in saying someone is after them, you should probably run tf away.
That was my local corner store when I lived in that area of Montreal years ago. I remember once getting some snacks there before heading home to watch Scream 4 with friends. Flash forward a decade and they're filming Scream VI in there... truly surreal.
Cool
I love Scream 4!!
This scene is very intense. One of the best scene in the series.
fax it all happened so fast first two bodies on the floor than bro dodge’s a shotgun blast this ghostface different 😭
The subway scene is more stressful and intense to me
Man, this scene had me on edge in the theater. One of the best parts in this movie. Honestly, i don't think we've had such suspense like this since Scream 2. If there's one thing that I love about these Ghostface killers, they're not afraid to use guns. Sure it's not exactly slasher like compared to Michael Myers (minus that one time Michael literally impales a chick with a shotgun in Halloween 4), Jason Voorhees, or Freddy Krueger. But when it comes to Ghostface using guns, it just adds to the realism of these killers. That they're as human as we are. It's a scary thought to me since guns are one of the easiest ways to kill somebody.
Espera, piensas demasiado
Yes. Getting out of that cruiser in front of an unconscious Ghostface.
Guns don't always kill someone
@@Caliboo29 Some guns are powerful enough to do that but the weaker ones are not.
@@JamaicaZ160R1793010A lol not true

That was Detective Bailey
He didn’t “load” it. He just cocked it was all.
@@akmalaarif fax, and so many people think it's Ethan. Same with the scene where Sam, Mindy, Mindy's girlfriend, Tara, and Mandy's brother get chased by Ghostface in their apartment. That was Bailey too. You can tell because it's the same mask from this scene. They also each wear a different Ghostface mask.
@@fearfulclan2007 This one is (obviously) Wayne Bailey, the one in the apartment is Ethan
@@path4522 The Ghostface in the apartment also has the same mask that Bailey is wearing, including Gale's apartment.
I liked the store owner! Even though he, like the customers, dismissed Sara and Tara's claims that Ghostface was trying to kill them, when he showed up and killed 2 customers, he saw that they were serious and tried to help and protect them; even though it cost the shopkeeper his life.
I mean, I don’t think he dismissed them. I mean, Tara and Sam were panicking, but they were still rambling over one another that I could see how someone would be confused as to what was going on. And he did look confused and somewhat concern before the killer came in.
This whole movie was so intense, I really like how it got you captivated in everything that was happening and how there was a lot of unpredictable moments.
I love how the sisters killed together
besides the killers being laughably predictable I agree
GIRL BYE
@@yourmajesty2755 lmao
@@danielmiller9012The killers were predictable on purpose. It’s dramatic irony. If you don’t know what that is and label all movies that have it as “predictable” just stop watching movies and play video games instead.
Should've figured out who the killer was by this scene. The way how they hold the shotgun and how they strategically search the store.....
Oh I figured it out as soon as I saw the scene in the first trailer like this has got to be a trained police officer it can only be Bailey as Kirby is a legacy final girl
@@Nicholas_Chen_ but seriously how could they think Kirby is the killer she's shorter as Tara
Ghostface is so fast and tall. Maybe, there were only two killers and detective Bailey was always in the background.
@@Nicholas_Chen_ Sherlock 👁👄👁
@@liyaygun7559 it was mainly Bailey running around and killing the victims. It honestly makes sense cause as a detective, he can easily create the narrative of how each murder went down with his children acting as the callers whilst probably having them kill one or two victims. Plus, most masterminds of crimes tend to love being in control of the situation, hence why Billy did the most of the phone calls, he'd likely be the one to lure and suave his way to the victims mind
I love it, everyone is angry with Sam and Tara for cutting the line but as soon as Ghostface comes in, the guy who is angriest moved them behind him. He wasn’t about to let them get hurt, and even when he went down both a second civilian and the shop keep were ready to throw down.
But I also really like this Ghostface because he showed that he really wasnt fucking around, ANYONE was going to get it if they were between him and Sam, unlike past killers who run and hide as soon as the target is “safe”.
Its because this Ghostface wanted to avenge his son

Loved this scene. The idea that a public place was not sanctuary 🤘😬
The ending to this scene made me think of the original Jurassic Park (1993)! Both kids having to quickly/quietly go around corners before the predator could finally sense their presence! 😱
the directors said it's an intentional homage
Actually! That's what I thought too! That was the exact scene I recalled in my head!
@@justabruin For real?
@@kaika201 yeah I think it was an interview they did with collider or it was during press
I remember that. There's an even more similar scene in the Netflix horror movie Rim of the World where teenage kids had to risk their lives to save the world from an alien invasion.
Great performance by stunt performer Max Leferriere as GF in this scene!! Stunt performers (in any movie) don’t get the credit or recognition they deserve! They’re a huge part of the movie’s success. 😊
Agreed! Give them the credit they deserve! He was especially excellent in this scene as a predatory Ghostface in this scene.

Bruh the store owner who had the shotgun coulda ended this whole scene if he just hadn’t yelled “HEY” right before he was about to shoot
Exactly! This movie had so many moments like that it was infuriating.
It’s a movie, obviously if he wouldn’t have yelled hey he actually would have shot ghostface and then the movie would be more duh
@@haleymartinez3355 His point is that movies still have to be logical. If too many things dont make sense, it takes people out of the movie and isn't as enjoyable. Don't get how this is such a hard concept to understand. "Its a movie" is not a good excuse. Bad storytelling is bad storytelling. There are a million different ways they could have allowed the shopkeeper to miss, but these slasher flics ALWAYS choose the cheap, easy way out.
@@MigukChelovek and I don’t understand how it’s a hard concept to not watch something, if you didn’t think it was logical and didn’t like it in the movie theater then why watch this whole scene again and comment your opinion that one gives 2 sh*ts about.

Watch the movie again, Ethan was with Mindy&Chad when Sam&Tara left the apartment. They would’ve seen him leave
Also, the ‘oh sh*t’ sounds like Ghostface, not Ethan
Wayne was the one who attacked them at the Bodega
One of, if not the best scene in a scream movie since the original, they really showed how menacing ghost face can be when he’s not getting objects thrown at him
This scene was so freaking incredible and intense, especially when Ghostface was wielding a shotgun.
Sam and Tara are good final girls.
Sam and Tara definitely carried the movie 💯💯💯
2:07 😂 if you wanna shoot someone properly, stop shouting at them before taking that shot 🤣
He probably didn't want to shoot it at first, he probably just intended to deescalate the situation by threatening ghost face. If you slow the clip down you see that the guy only shot after ghost face tried to run away, he said hey as a way to get ghost face's attention and he probably hoped when ghost face saw the gun that he would surrender
2:43 how iconic is that
“There’s a fucking line here” as if they were going to wait in a line just to tell the owner a psycho was chasing them 😂
One of my favorite scenes in Scream VI because of having the two sisters as the focal point in this movie.
This ghostface is different. No hiding, no playing games, no “what’s your favorite scary movie” and all that garbage. Someone who is willing to kill ANYONE that gets in his way without ANY second thoughts. Just two targets, one mission, and a shotgun.
Man... This movie gets better every time I rewatch. And I already really liked it! Just a combo of all the great tones of the past movies.
What I love about Ghostface in this movie is that they don’t give a fuck about the typical slasher movie “rules”. He’ll run up on you even if you’re in public surrounded by other people or if you’re in your apartment with a whole group of friends at your side. And they don’t care about the “slashers don’t use guns!” rule either.
The people who ran out of the bodega coulda easily told the authorities that they saw Sam being chased by Ghostface. Therefore eliminating her as a suspect
This was such a good and intense scene!!!!!
this scene is 100% nostalgia i love it
Wayne really doesn't get his due as Ghostface. He had no fear going out in public with so many people around to (likely) kill Tara and keep Sam alive long enough to successfully frame her as Ghostface. Racked up a significant body count even with other villains helping him.
This shows they weren’t New Yorkers. They’d have ran into the streets rather than a store.
2:38 *that no no no is music to my ears*
This scene and the subway scene were really great additions to the franchise as a whole, the suspense was great. I also like how in this scene Ghostface actually seems tactfully skilled unlike most iterations of his disguise lol also first time Ghostface is strapped haha
When ghostface ran up behind tara I knew she had flashed backs of Amber running up on her in her opening attack!!
This was my FAV scene in this movie. It was so intense and there’s a shot of ghostface that’s so terrifying as the music is playing on the radio
Loads of people think that in this scene it was detective bailey, but i think it was ethan. It couldnt have been quinn because she was back at the apartment, and if quinn was to leave, everyone would be suspicious of her, it also couldn't of been detective bailey because as soon as ghostface went away he was at the office, therefore its Ethan.
Ethan was also with everyone else at the apartment too
ethan and quinn was in apart, no way he sneak to the bodega, its bailey and after he attack sam, he quickly back to police station
No this was definitely Bailey. Because Quinn and Ethan were with the gang back in the apartment. Suspicions would've rised about them if they were leaving the apartment when only Sam and Tara were called, the risk was just to high for them to sneak out and attack them as ghostface. Not to mention the way ghostface handled that shotgun at the bodega. That effective tactic is done by people who are very well-trained with guns. And since Bailey is part of NYPD and has used a gun before, it'd make sense that he's capable of shooting with shotguns as well, hence the bodega attack for Sam and Tara.
I loved this scene so much!! The intensity, tension, and brutality of Ghostface. Especially the store kills and the shotgun. Also, not sure if this is true or if I'm mishearing things....but, when Sam and Tara fight back and a tiny bit after....it almost sounds like Ethan grunting and saying "shit". Watch from 1:32 to 1:38 and let me know if you hear it. EDIT: Although, I've heard people theorize over many different Ghostfaces in this scene, so who knows. EDIT 2: Even if it's not Ethan you hear, you can definitely hear someone without the Ghostface voice changer
tht must be ethan or maybe stunt double
❤
Jack Champion was actually ghostface in this scene. At least part of it
That is not Ethan or Bailey or any of the ghost faces. All ghost faces are played by a stuntman. In this particular scene, Max Lefferriere is playing the role of ghost face
@@enigma2576lmao. Sounds can be intentional added or removed. And this sound is definitely intentional added. It's not "stunt doubles" voice

Cashier: Hey!
Ghostface: Oh Shit!
Really went from something unlikely but possible for Americans to a very dark and normal reality. Ghostface is human but still just as dangerous and evil as Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger are. Slashers usually don't use guns but they work for Ghostface.
I also like how it was not a question for Tara to accompany her half-sister. Says the sisterhood was stronger than the trauma. Even if Samatha was not happy about it, it said a lot.
As for the massacre, I'll say it's very bold and reckless by New York City standards. It could have went horribly wrong for him. He took a gamble and lucked out.
first killer to be willing to fight a crowd of people and not just flee when his target is supposedly safe. He really wasnt playing when he said he'd kill anyone who got between him and Sam
@@RikelWirkkunen Yes. That was clear but the way he killed really said how sharp his situational awareness was.
@@JamaicaZ160R1793010A Trying to type without spoilers; but honestly when the first trailer dropped, I was expecting the killer to be someone with tactical training. It gave away who one of the killers was when the newcomer cast and who they were playing got dropped.
But who Ghostface killed and supposedly killed part way through the film made me think that other this guy is heartless or while we'll have 2 ghostfaces like normal, they wont actually be working together in the end and itll be a Ghostface v Ghostface showdown in the end... both guesses wrong and a twist I didnt see coming
This and the train scene were the best.
i got so lucky, I went to the theaters during the day and was the only one there! Had a private screening, movie was great!

“you better watch yours” literally the best line from this movie
The Ghostface attacking Tara and Sam at Bodega is Wayne and Quinn is the caller here as Ghostface is seen here without his cell phone and if he was on the phone Sam would have heard him.
I love ghostface with the shotgun so much😍
1:54 “You got a problem here, Guy?”
Then he just makes the face movement of “You bet I do.”
3:08 If you can hear closely before Ghostface fires the shotgun you can hear Wayne Bailey’s grunt
I Have Sure It Was Ghostface Normal Grunt
Not gonna lie, I think this interation of scream is better than the original. I think the original 4 were more comedic which is okay, but as a horror buff its great to see that old school horror again
This is such a terrifying scene ngl

Ghostface using a shotgun before revealing himself was badass
This Ghostface killer is the most bloodthirsty and most merciless. Other Ghostface killers kill people they personally know because of personal vendetta but this killer murders innocent civilians. Very disturbing
I know I said before that I do not like too much predictable things happening in the scream franchise, with the exception of scream 4 (in my opinion, killer reveal Jill Roberts), but scream 6's scenes got me chillin' to the bone during the whole movie except the killer reveal and the first part of the opening scene. Too much suspense makes me want to stop, and I can power through it often, but come on now. Half this movie got me shaking.

This shows how badass Ghost-face really is. The killings most definitely got more Brutal over the years. They way he stepped up in the store was coo. He really didn’t give a fuck n was determined to kill Sam n Tara . 😅
1:00 Charlie Walker?
I figured out the dad/ cop was the killer bc when Sam and Tara described the mask, Tara said it looked older. Also the killer showed up to the therapist home. The cop I felt embodied Billy, bc he would have been around the same age had Billy would have lived. And they had the same mantra, “You mess with my family, you die.” Billy killed Sidney’s mom for breaking up his parents marriage and Bailey went the Mrs. Loomis route trying to avenge his son’s death.
