- A human smuggler led Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers working Operation Lone Star on a vehicle pursuit on US 281 in Hidalgo County on Aug. 16, 2022. Several illegal immigrants bailed out as the vehicle was moving. The driver eventually stopped and was apprehended. They were charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons.
Great job DPS.i will always continue to support our highway patrol they are our Frontline of defense to catching people for committing these kind of crimes.

I been asking for help from the DPS and Texas Rangers hate crime and attempting murder and they refuse to help us my son was in ICU with head trauma internal bleeding he had surgery we have all the documents to prove everything. Hidalgo county police departments are protecting the criminals we support the blue I hope someone honest read this and clean the police departments. Love everyone. God is mighty, Save the children
