Were you a fan of Tom Green?
Still am.
I watched his show all the time back then. Great comedy.
No
Always will be.
Watched his original Ottawa Cable show that was great, but didn't care much for what he did afterward in the States. Watched Freddy Got Fingered a couple of times and saw him doing his meat-wearing shtick a couple of times, then I pretty much lost interest until he returned home in 2022 where he's just a regular Ottawa guy living in the countryside where he spent his youth cottaging with his family as a kid. I always find it amusing how many of his fans, especially ones from places like LA think he's actually in the wilderness, when in reality the true wilderness is another 800+ miles away. While I have yet to see him live myself, the Ottawa area has two YukYuk's he performs at, the smaller one is a ten minute walk from where I live while the other is a 30-minute drive at what began as a drive-in restaurant in the 1960s.
I ❤ THE TOM GREEN SHOW 💚😊
Sounds like he is living his best life 👍🏿
He’s not. He’s afraid and it’s obvious
I'm 36 and one of those millennials that grew up with Tom Green!! I think I was in 6th or 7th grade 1st time I saw him!!
I remember when Andy milanokas got a show on MTV…I thought …so they let a kid act like Tom Green and gave him a show lol
7th or 8th grade for me. Good times lol
It's good to see him doing so well.
I miss Tom Green. As a late Gen X, I saw him on TV all the time as an older teen/young adult. He was GREAT.
YOU CAN STICK IT IN YOUR BUM BUM!
Happy to see you on Steve o Tom
I loved the Tom Green show and I hope we can bring something like it back but I just don't know if we can. ❣️😬
Dave Letterman was the one who brought recognition to Tom Green in the 80s. I’ve seen Green on Letterman’s show many times.
One of our Canadian treasures
Absolutely. I was tickled pink when he decided to move back.
the other one is trudeau
I remember watching The Tom Green Show on MTV. it was hilarious!!
MTV, what's that?
How can you make this video and not talk about Tom Green being the pioneer of podcasting? He literally paved the way for so many peoples career these days.
It's cool he returned to Canada, where he is from. I know Glenn Gould hated performing in Toronto!
Tom Green is stepping up while every other" famous " "Canadains" stepped down .
It took 2 years, but he's a Canadain hero.
I love Tom!! 💙💙💙
The bum bum song is still a classic
He finally became a farmer daddy
Uh, Tom Green has been touring recently, he just did a show in NYC. TOM GREEN RULES!!
💗💗💗
❤
Tom is fantastic 👍
Hes got his own podcast now, check it out!
Another great artist bites the dust.
R.I.P. and thanks for the many laughs
Grtz froHolland. ❤
What happened to grunge, Tom Green has his own podcast
Tom Green is still relevant
I wonder how his parents are doing today? They were a HUGE part of the success of The Tom Green Show. They fascinated me because they were so wholesome looking. How did they turn out a son like Tom? Im sure they're proud of him though. But his messing with them was the best.
He lives on a farm near his parents. His father was his first guest on his new podcast show.
Tom Green is hilarious.
Dude invented youtube content
Yes what about him.
Hello 😁
I only learned who he was because of RedLetterMedia.
the only likeable canadian
Leaving LA is a power move. That place looks like a shed
JAPAN FOUR!
Karma. He never credited his friend Derek for writing Freddy Got Fingered and when he has a show Tom just had on famous people, Tom tours alone never helping someone less famous than him, so Tom lives a life alone.
I think the best laugh ever was the slut mobile on the Tom green show
What happened to glen?
Nothing happened. He's amazing at stand up comedy. Coming soon..
Like Adam Sandler, Tom aged out of his early style of humor.
He fell off soon after his show got cut. His movie Freddie got Fingered was horrible
FGF is a guilty pleasure of mine
Because there's no substance to what he has to offer. There's no country album coming. He wants praise for things he hasn't done.
he's done more than your fat lazy bum
He was so unfunny.
Yeah, I remember not finding him funny and wondering what everyone was seeing in him.
Yet your here.
@bloodboneoutdooradventures724 I'm sorry to be "that guy", but it's *you're* as in *you are*
On topic, it's not unusual to be interested in the career trajectory of people whose work you don't enjoy. I don't like Donald Trump or Boris Johnson, but I think it's important to understand why they appeal to so many, and how they reached power. Similarly, I'm curious about how someone I found so terminally unfunny got as far as he did.
@@bloodboneoutdooradventures724 it’s strange Weirdos take time out of their lives to make comments on a CZcams video about a comedian they don’t find funny
Only to people without a since of humor 😂
One of a very select few I NEVER found funny if likeable. The Tom Green show was too over the top and he himself is so obnoxious.
That's what made him funny, he made people uncomfortable.
@@rabidrooster6525 its a type of comedy I guess, one I find boring and dull but appreciate other likes. In my eyes there is a line where comedy becomes too ridiculous, and way over the top for only the actors amusement. Like Andy Kauffman. Much of his acting and comedy was for himself and no other.
@@DrDiscourse yeah, it seems to be an acquired taste I suppose.
@@rabidrooster6525, @DrDiscourse apparently has no ability to read people, while I haven't always liked Tom's comedy, he is anything but obnoxious. While I always found Adam Sandler's early comedy to be irritating juvenile and obnoxious, whenever he appeared on talk shows, especially after he started a family, he became quite an engaging and sensitive guest, Tom Green is also such a fellow.
I was never a fan
Yet here you are watching this video on his success.
@@scotti.6433 curiosity about whatever happened to
@@loboblanco4426 he keeps up to date on his own channel since you're interested in him
