Been out six months and it truly is life changing and spiritually awakening. It may not be for everyone but everyone should do it. You truly learn what really matters and what you really need in life. Do it!
Best time to do. No need for schools these days, especially if you homeschool. When I was a kid long road trips were possible for anyone middle class and shit wasn't price gouged and wages were closer to livable even for those at the lower end and both parents didn't need to work. Gas was cheap in comparison.

Hats off to Tom Green and his beautiful rescue. Ironically I was just wondering about him the other day as I never hear anything about him anymore. I'm happy to hear he is doing wonderful traveling this beautiful country with his beautiful dog. I run an animal rescue and every single time I hear someone has a rescue my heart explodes with happiness as there are so many wonderful pets in need of loving homes at a shelter near you. I have nothing but love and respect for anyone who has a rescue.

Honestly, I get him. I've been tempted so many times to just sell everything, load the car and just drive it around the US and settle wherever it breaks down.
So was I, so was I. Picked up a decent camper and hit the road, 2 weeks in I had gotten a bit of food and stocked up on tons of beer because it was getting cold. But I was drunk and lonely so I picked up two hitchhiking women and called this chunky stripper from a run down strip joint. I had completely forgot about weight limits, and with the two hitchhiking women being 275lb each and the stripper close to 400lb, the weight snapped the back axel when the strippers portable stripper pole came unstuck when she tried to do a fancy twirl. We were stuck out there for weeks, by the start of the second the unwashed poon stank from the chicks was attracting wolves. Long story short we had to feed the chunky stripper to the every wolves and threw rocks at helicopters to get them to see us, luckily the other 3 of us made it, although one of the hitchhikers lost her left teet due to frostbite. I moved into a similar Ram Promaster about a year and a half ago. It's been an incredibly freeing experience, but it's not as easy and carefree as many people think. You really have to he comfortable with yourself and be prepared for long stretches of isolation and limited human contact. I think it's an incredible learning experience that teaches people a lot about themselves, as well as how to be resourceful in the world. The minimalistic nature of it was one of the main aspects that attracted me to the lifestyle, we do not need as much as we think to be happy!
Being isolated with limited human contact is the exactly the draw for some of us! I'm building my Promaster as soon as this western Washington weather dries up! ☮️🚐🐶❤️

So you don't disrespect the man's name, that could get you punched in certain parts of Canada.
I think Tom thought that joke was going to get a big laugh out of Joe, but it's like Joe didn't hear it, or his thoughts were elsewhere, so it just fell flat. I liked it, though.

I met Tom one day when he was giving a show on base at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I was lucky to smoke a cigarette with him and talk with him about his surfing trips and his love for Costa Rica. He's as genuine as they come!

Did that a few years back for a year. Was an excellent adventure! I met the most amazing people and the simple life treated me well. After a year of touring Europe the engine had some troubles and the part I needed was hard and thus expensive to get, so decided to selll the van when I found a guy who was interested in buying it for a suitable price. Still look back to those times though! Now I'm thinking about boat life and maybe buy a small cruiser boat to tour around Europe.

Brought a used Chevy Express May 2020 and was out West 30 days later for a full 2 months and saw 12 national parks and not sure how many national monuments. Best decision I ever made. The success of The Eric Andre Show and Rogan's podcast are all due to the groundwork laid by Tom Green, from his pioneering show in Canada (which America was too uptight at the time to handle when he moved his show to New York) basically being The Eric Andre Show but without the big name celebrity guests and studio budget to his internet talk show shot from his home, which Joe was a guest on and literally said "We need to find a way to make money off of this" before starting the JRE.
So you don't disrespect the man's name, that could get you punched in certain parts of Canada.

There's a ton of Great Country rap now, it can be rather tacky if not done properly but there's some Great country rap like Upchurch and Bubba Sparxx and the Nappy Roots as well, they've been around a long ass time and haven't got much credit

He is the most interesting and intelligent person without the credit that he deserves. I’ve always loved Tom, I’ve been a fan since the beginning. Had the pleasure of talking to him on his webovision show from his old house in California once, people kept prank calling and I managed to not get hung up on.
I met Tom one day when he was giving a show on base at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I was lucky to smoke a cigarette with him and talk with him about his surfing trips and his love for Costa Rica. He's as genuine as they come!

Did that a few years back for a year. Was an excellent adventure! I met the most amazing people and the simple life treated me well. After a year of touring Europe the engine had some troubles and the part I needed was hard and thus expensive to get, so decided to selll the van when I found a guy who was interested in buying it for a suitable price. Still look back to those times though! Now I'm thinking about boat life and maybe buy a small cruiser boat to tour around Europe.
Their both so unique, makes for a great interviews. Both legends in their own right.

Brought a used Chevy Express May 2020 and was out West 30 days later for a full 2 months and saw 12 national parks and not sure how many national monuments. Best decision I ever made. The fact that he rescued a dog from the Bahamas makes me like them even more. Anybody can rescue a dog from America and there are plenty people to do it, but there’s lot less in the Bahamas. That dog would’ve had much less of a chance.
I think he's all settled up on some land in Canada west of Ottawa, not too far from where I live now.
