Has anyone ever written a story about the guy having to marry the obsessed person bc his parents made him do it? Like flipped reality that a lot of women live through even in modern times. Not defending it in any way just wondering. Bc a lot of women have to marry this dynamic, reversed. And then are taught to fulfill the guys every need like that’s going to get them into heaven to the detriment of their own needs. It’s extremely painful. Then came Dickey, and he took American music farther than any singular person , Considering he advanced Southern Rock, Country Blues , Outlaw Country and Country Rock ... He was an abuser of alcohol for sure .... what else is speculation .... but, his retreat from pressures and harsh light of celebrity would be soothed by hard liqueur and he became abusive when intoxicated as his devils tormented him in private as well as public - socially really. His ability to WRITE, SING a song play it in front of few or many was second to none ..... there under the spotlight .... he was at peace and in confident mindset. Sadly he looked a hundred by his 60th birthday ...... last years his voice betrayed him. A catalog of incredible popular music though - second to none !!! GBjj

There is really a lot of ugly commenting on here For a Band That played 40 years. They had some great, classic songs and Jon and Richie were both good looking and sang together so well. I hope he can sing for One more tour. Richie can take Some of the leads too- they could mix it up and maybe have one big night show!!

My mom & dad had us watching this show as kids .. the show was super funny the kids were so intriguing & talented. The bts I know had to be chaotic.

I enjoyed the singing and music of Mama Cass and the rest of the Mamas and the Papas. I grew up on their music. That stupid story of Cass choking on a ham sandwich and people laughing about it was a lie and also cruel. I was 12 years old when she died. Even though I heard and believed that ham sandwich story, it was not funny. Cass died, and a lot of people made dumb jokes about it. So, if she weighed 110 lbs, I guess her death would have been taken seriously? Even if she did choke on a piece of food, it still isn't funny. Hopefully, people have learned better and have given Cass the respect she always deserved. Cass brought talent and pizzazz to the music world. God bless you, Mama Cass, and rest in peace. ❤❤ 🙏 🙏 💐 💐
