🌼 Jjamppong Pasta
Ingredients
16 oz linguine or fettuccine
8 slices bacon, cut into bite sizes
5 to 7 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
4 to 6 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup rice wine or shaoxing wine (you can substitute with water)
3 baby bok choy, cut into quarters
1/2 onion, sliced
3 tbsp fine gochugaru (you can use regular gochugaru too)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup marinara sauce
1 lb seafood, such as shrimp, scallop, mussels, clams, calamari or/and squid
1 cup heavy cream
4 oz grated parmigiano - Jak na to + styl
Jjamppong Pasta! (Spicy Seafood Pasta) Dare I say, this is better than Cajun style pasta. Spicy, creamy with seafood and wide fettuccine - all Korean style!! SO DELICIOUS!!!

That sauce was reminding me of sauce piquant, like use in Cajun cooking.

Garlic (lots of garlic!), soy sauce, gochugaru, fish sauce, maesilek or oligodang syrup.... I've been watching some Korean college students' weekly cooking vlogs and slowly but surely I realize that one of the biggest reasons I love making Korean dishes is that this general combination of spices and sauces goes around for a lot of dishes! It's so much easier for a student like me who has to move around a lot to keep a good kitchen stock on hand. Thank you!
