This Brand-New Ford Expedition is $84,000! Is it better than the Tahoe & Yukon?

  • The prices of these luxury trucks and SUV's are bonkers! Isn't it crazy? Then again most vehicles didn't have heated/cooling/massaging seats and the ability to park before!

    Stellar job. I used to have a Ford Excursion (V10) and while the engine is smaller it looks like they are moving toward that body size again. I was in an accident that should have been fatal but between the engineering and the lords hand my family and I lived. We have a Ford Flex now and I might lean towards heading back towards the large SUV direction.

      The Max is the replacement for the Excursion. So yes, this is what your old SUV would be these days

    • @anthonyv2645

      You are incorrect. It’s not an option. It comes standard i in ALL Platinums. 400hp/480 lb-ft. Do your homework!

      @@anthonyv2645 that was my understanding. Kind of like buying the “Denali version.” Realistically, besides the higher grade leather and seat massagers they needed to offer something more expensive beyond the limited. IMO of course.

    Fail: 1 mpg better is completely wiped out by requiring premium gas at $0.80 extra per gallon.

    • @brynwhite5470
      @brynwhite5470 Před 2 lety

      You don’t have to run premium (no where that I saw says that it does). If I was towing or running the engine hard I would definitely put it in. The GM 6.2 does require premium on the other hand.

    Just bought one almost two weeks ago and I fucking hate it. Traded my 2012 F150 5.0 for it, and I feel like it was a step down. I've had a Suburban in the past, so I wanted something similar in size and passenger capacity. The EcoBoost has power, sure, but it's one of the reasons this damn thing feels like I'm driving a mini van. Now I'm trying to get rid of it and just get an F250.

    See this is what gets me, family’s are willing to pay 80k for a Ford Expedition, while you buy a new land cruiser which is a better car overall and reliable car, smh. I

      Hard pass on a land cruiser for me. I would not have bought an expedition 4 years asp but they have stepped their game up. Not to mention, no other suv offers a standard 375 hp, 470 lb feet of torque. The performance is much better than any Toyota could do.
