- The Ford Expedition has a few updates for 2020. Under the hood is a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 producing 400HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Being an Expedition MAX you have the most interior space of any Ford SUV. You will find the highest level of fit and finish and all the safety technology you could ask for. Is the 2020 Ford Expedition Platinum as good as the Lincoln Navigator only cheaper?

Personally, between this and the Nav - I’d take this. It has a more rugged look to it. The Nav is beautiful, but the blue oval look is more my style.

Excellent choice
There is less sound insulation however including a sound blanket lining the firewall and the Navigator has double layers of windows for extra sound deadening as well. Still this is a fantastic piece of machinery. I’d be very satisfied with it but I’m a Ford guy.

Even though the Expedition Platinum is cheaper than the Navigator, but the Navigator just seems so much better! Kinda weird since I don't really like Lexus and Acura designs compared to Toyota and Honda 😂

Very beautiful truck.These things do depreciate like a stone.Someone commented on the Raptor and gt350 about depreciation.They are sooooo right.I bought a new 2019 Ford Raptor and didn’t pay over sticker actually bought it below invoice and I hated it.I traded it after 4 months and couldn’t believe it but it took me 5 dealerships before I got the right number and that number was still not good.I learned a lesson with that car never again.I also still own a 2016 explorer sport with 43k on it bought it new and put a very large down payment on it and it’s barely worth more than what I owe and that was a 60 month loan.Love all of your videos they are extremely thorough.Excellent camerawomen also.👍
Hey Joe, as usual I have a car question. What car has had the most attractive exterior styling? Stuff like headlights, taillights, body lines. I think the McLaren P1 or koenigsegg regera are pretty spectacular
Joe I have to say I really enjoyed this introduction on the 2020 Expedition Max👍👍,If I had to get a big SUV it would either be this 2020 Ford Expedition Non Max or or on my Executive Professional side a 2020 Lincoln Navigator but I would just get it in blue or black, But non the less that ruby Red is just POPPIN in that Florida Sun Light, I love that interior TONSSS OF SPACE👍👍love it

Love your videos. Can you perhaps do one thing differently when reviewing the 3rd row seats? Slide over to the next seat behind the second row seat opposite the camera man, so the viewers can actually see how much space is there. Not very helpful when you cant actually see the space. Keep up the good work!

The best color for these Expeditions is the new “Silver Spruce” color. Kind of like a Silver with a hint of green. It’s stunning

I was comparing Lincoln's to Ford's interior and did not realize that in order to turn the wiper system, it is on the left of the column steering while Lincoln's has a different design on the right of the column steering. Can Ford just have a separate stalk for the wipers and have it designated on the right of the column steering? Regardless, Ford made sure that nothing is shared with the Navigator but seems a bit inconvenient for the wiper stalk on the other side of the steering column.

Not Complaining but For The Platinum addition There Is THE Entertainment System Ford Is Famous For In The Headrest Of The Seats If It's Going To Compact With Lincoln or the Yukon's It Might Be A Deal Breaker Maybe NOT To Me But To Some. And I Have To Ask Dose It Come With A V-8. And To Make It Mine Which Ford Dealer's Can Super Charger The

The extra long SUVs can look funny sometimes. They can have that hearse look to them. The exterior colors on this vehicle are very attractive. What are those Floridians doing in the streets? $80k could get me a nice muscle car. 🚗 👈

Raiti, I NEED that the cameraman and you both work together to let me, and the audience, see the video clip for the third row cars and you seating, for our reference. Because with the 2 row seat positioned and it blocking your legs I can’t see the leg room you really have. I have to imagine it and that’s not good. Keep the good work. Thanks.
Don’t forget to mention features like massage and hands-free liftgates. Platinum is the only trim to come with front multi-contour massaging seats.

Rented an Expedition a few times the past couple years and I BUYING ONE!! Building my own 2020 Expedition next week at local Ford dealership. First vehicle I have ever bought brand new. Platinum Regular. Agate Black. Adding on 4 x 4, tow package, 2nd row Captain chairs and floor liners. Takes 10-12 weeks to build/deliver. Got a GREAT price....$84,000 out the door. This includes tax, title, license, delivery, documentary and ankle biter fees. ($77,000 pre-fees) + a $2000 rebate. Dealer went $100 over invoice (he has to make something). Not sure why everyone comments about depreciation...I plan on keeping this Ford for the rest of my life so I don't really care about depreciation....I don't plan on ever selling it. If you are looking for an investment, maybe this isn't the SUV for you.........maybe buy a mint 68 Camaro if you want an investment. Enjoyed the video Tracy. For all of you that may dog me on this price, find me the exact rig for less in the State of WA and then you tell me I got ripped off...LMAO.. Plus this rig is going to have about 10 miles on it when I get it. One owner, no strangers test driving it, no kicking tires, and no sitting on a lot for a couple months.

I do like the interior better in the Nav - and also there is a bit more HP/torque in the Nav as well. Love the Ford trucks but the Nav is going to be for someone looking for posh interior for sure. Love your reviews!!!

The 2021 will have a larger screen and the new Sync version. Ford has stepped it up with an attractive exterior and a beautiful interior that uses upgraded materials, technology and designs. I agree. I'm not a fan of white interiors especially in an SUV that will likely transport kids from soccer, baseball and other events. Great review on the special limited edition of the Expedition. I agree. The better deal is the Expedition over the Navigator when comparing size and what you get for your dollars. The Lincoln interior is special, but so is saving in the neighborhood of $15,000 buying the Expedition.
I would love this suv and plus I will mod this ford to make it look like a Ford expedition king ranch because I love the platnium's features and the look of the king ranch so I would take the platinum and make it look like a king ranch

Love this but I saw Navigator in bluish color with black badging. That thing has different level of presence. Expedition doesn't have those colors.
