I like Liam Neeson. Last year he said a few words about what was in his head during a bit of a breakdown when he was a young man. He approached nobody, hurt nobody and got over his demons. Real bigots, misogynists and bullies have life long histories of such and they do leave a trail of hurt in their wake. Still, sorry Liam but the joke was funny..
Yes, it was what has become standard practice, for large sections of the media (social and mainstream) to blow something out of proportion, so they can get the attention themselves by being outraged. They completely fail to apply the full context of what's been said.
That doesn't mean it shouldn't be joked about though and it was a funny joke.
