- We explore the abandoned farm buildings of Garrion Tower Farm that have lay empty since 2016 as well as what we could of Garrion Tower that has lay abandoned since 2008.
To whom it may concern: We do not break an entry. Should we be unable to gain access through means of getting through an already open space, we walk away. We take nothing but footage and leave nothing but footprints. We are storytellers portraying the tale of an abandoned place, some locations depicting a sad one which may leave some viewers passionate or disgruntled. We mean no disrespect to the locations we visit or the people once connected to them.
We enter derelict structures at our own risk. Civil trespass, also known as "simple trespass", is not a criminal offence in Scotland. Police get involved if there's a possibility that an offence has been committed such as refusal to leave (breach of the peace), fire, physical damage or theft etc all of which we avoid as that isn't our intention. Speaking of which, we are of course not responsible for those who get into bother by visiting any of the places we've been to nor do we encourage it.
In the event that anyone posts negative, close-minded or ridiculous comments, they wont be approved and you will be blocked from future commenting, so don't be a dick and waste your time.

Believe it or not, I lived in this house from when I was born in 1954 until we moved out in 1971. It was a beautiful well maintained family home. It is sad to see what has happened to it. We used to have garden fetes, barbecues, parties and it was great. There were plum trees, strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb etc. There even was a tennis court and a boat on the river. The room layout was great as a family home but very difficult to develop. Very sad. I would not want to go back now.

There are pictures but more if the family rather than the rooms etc.
I thought of checking 8mm film and converting it to digital and then making videos where you fade from an existing b@w shot to a bit of film.
Then doing a series of short films.
A long term project but could be interesting for people.

My family were tenants of the old owner Bill - the cottage next to the last building you entered was ours. My mother passed away whilst we lived there - a lot of happy memories were spent in that area. Sad to see how it is now, the family that owned it looked after me the night of my mother's passing.
Good intro to this video; the music and visuals. I'm enjoying how your videos are developing. Garrion Tower looks an impressive building from the outside, shame it couldn't be properly explored. Such gorgeous surrounding areas too, hopefully it will see the planned regeneration. And, of course, love the sexy, shiny black PVC gear you're wearing.
Yea we would have loved to have been able to roam around further in it but they've sealed up every interior door as well as external one. haha Of course we could have took a mallet with us and smashed our way through the place like other individuals to gain access for whatever reason but that is not our style or fair to the property so we film what we can. That was just a bit unfortunate. But at least we had loads of other buildings on site to check out, so wasn't a total loss. :)
I worked for the guy that owned this place many years ago , it was clyde side tomatoes that was grown in them , 7 greenhouses in total, biggest was 5 archers, his wife a 3 daughters stayed there at the time , garrion tower was also occupied at the present time when I worked there .

As always guys another amazing video my favourite so far you really capture the beauty of the place. You know if i ever won the lottery i would have bought that farm and rennovated it has such potential . but its going to be turned into residential homes so thats good ! Good to see you again lads thank you again for another awesome video until next time :)

Omg what a beautiful building such a shame it's not looked after better, there should be a law that if u buy a listed building that you need to protect it and look after it or a trust can come in and take it over. Love the old switches and the ceiling airers for clothes and tea towels and omg love that Rayburn cooker
They are looking after it to be fair. But not in the restoration sense. More so in the way of hammering hundreds of holes into every wooden window and door frame, that's excluding the frames they've covered in cement to brick the windows up. Of course that keeps vandals at bay, but it's not really moving forward having purchased it 8 years ago.
Would be great if they could bring it back to its former glory be a nice exhibition piece and a tourist place to visit
Was up here tonight with my mates exploring it all took many photos and even found right at the top of the building a massive snooker table proper sized one and had a quick game of pool with the 3 balls that where left, gained access through a small wooden door that had been kicked in and explored all the outbuildings and houses what a place right on my door step to
hey mate. Me and my friends were planing on visitng the place but seen that it says private property. Was that recently placed or was it there when you first entered. We are just planing on doing the same stuff as you at nightime but dont want to risk the cops showing up.
@@ShaquilleOatmeal849 It's currently up for sale.... again.... so I imagine it has security about it due to some kind of live account active with a sales agent. We've not been in over a year so we can't say. Those signs are recently placed due to the newly listed sale status. You might get away with exploring it but it's certainly not left alone or unwatched that's for sure. You could be unlucky.
@@DeviantDiscoveries yeah we visited it and no one was there to catch us. But the place is falling to bits. A lot of the roof have caved in so If anyone sees this and is thinking of going please be careful!

For some reason Garrion Tower's front reminds me of The Haunted House from Alton Towers and I wonder if structures like it helped inspire the latter's design.

Yes I think it is that gate you’re talking about. Nothings happening with it, its just monitored id say about once a week
