My wife had a horrible accident in our odyssey when a person ran a redllight and t boned her with our newborn in the car. They both walked away with no injures. Can’t beat the safety protection of a Honda.

I also have a few friends who have the vehicle and there is nothing but smiles associated with their experiences. The other thing that I give Honda high marks on is their commitment to service. I had a Honda EX back in the day. Love the car and the service that came with it. In closing, I know all too well about the Minnesota winters, they are rough. Greetings from Minnesota. Glad you walked away from the crash without any major injuries. I enjoy your videos. I have a 2021 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition and it has proven worthy for Minnesota winters.
Just got a 2023 ridgeline rtl 😊 and thrilled with it. Like it even better than my 2002 Yukon and I kept that truck for 20 years. Fingers crossed this too. You helped in my decision. Thanks! Live in Chicago too and certainly know I 100% agree with this suiting our needs. The side swing out tailgate is standard for us and we also received the remote start at no extra charge. Our neighbor just got a new ram and the tailgate option was an extra charge that he declined. For a woman, to me the funnest accessory is the trunk in the tail bed! No More tipped over groceries, yea. Last week was able to bring home 6’ steel feed troughs for raised bed gardening by angling them in the 5’4” length tail bed. What a versatile and most useful vehicle I’ve ever owned.🎉
Glad you’re ok, I had a similar situation in my 2012 Ridgeline, it got totaled by a “distracted driver”, immediately got a new 2013, didn’t think twice, Honda safety is tops. I now have a new 2023 RTL-E, love the Ridgeline.

At 75 and retired, my body can't stand a bad ride, nor can I afford big luxury cars anymore. You were what I was looking for, sorry for your accident, but your able to speak to my requirements.
Have the Sport HPD. My second and absolutely love it. Don’t care what others think. Amazing allwheel drive, went off-roading and it did spectacular. You can be dressed in a suitand still be seen by it. Ridgeline is the delacreme of pick up trucks

Just came across your video. Glad you were ok. I just bought THE SAME TRUCK I’m from Chicago and wanted to drive it on bad weather. We got lucky this year. But I love my truck. Maybe will come across one day.
Happy for you. Im still driving my 2008 RTL w 170k miles. Just put new tires, wheels and changed my cv axles in front and lower control arms. Rather spend the money on my used car instead of paying for the ridiculous prices we are seeing nowadays. Hoping to get another 100k miles on it. Original timing belt, never flushed tranny fluid or any other fluid for that matter. Hondas are amazing. Brakes and oil change is all they need.
Also drive 95 and stlll get 25pmg. In addition it handles save and secure on the street just like a German car. It hugs the streets (also in the curves) No truck with body on frame will handle that well.

I’m on my second ridgeline as well. Currently have a 21 black edition with a 2” lift and bigger tires

In Chicago and looking for a ridgeline as well, what dealer did you purchase at? Everywhere I go has at least a $2,000 mark up.
Me too my son got hit by a school bus he roll over 4 times total loss 2014 H.R.S all black got the money and got a 2008 rtl
