Recently just bought a 2018 RTL-E best driving auto I’ve had. Hopefully last me a long time.
There's only one complaint to have with the Honda Ridgeline the button transmission selector I absolutely hate it they need to get rid of that the real shifter there I hope for 2025 they put a real shifter get rid of the push buttons once they fix that problem perfect truck enjoy your Ridgeline it's really nice
Wow that's an absolutely beautiful truck I love all the tinted windows the rims now that's what I call a man's truck you haven't driven a real truck until you've driven a Honda Ridgeline and if you drive one of those you're not going back to any other truck don't worry about with anybody says it's a real truck and you love it that's all that matters the people that don't like it or the people that are jealous because you have a real truck they have big square boxes on wheels. Lol
Honda Ridgeline.....The Thinking Man's Truck
Have a 2020 E trim I love it and I’m only 25
Great content.
I have a 2007 Ridgeline with 160,000 miles on it. does'nt burn a lick of oil. i pull my travel trailer with it, i use it as a contractor 5 days a week. I think it'll be my son's first truck when I buy another one, and the 2021 is what I've been looking at. superb build quality. the ride. the capability. the trunk!! love my truck. glad you do too my friend. T
I just replaced my 6 month old Frontier with a 2024 Ridgeline Black Edition. I've owned almost every midsize truck available... Tacoma, Colorado, Ranger and most recently the Frontier, and they served me well for the most part, but the main reason I switched to the unibody Ridgeline was for more on road comfort. My commute is nearly 2 hours a day and the older I get (almost 55) the more annoyed I've become with how body on frame trucks ride overall. Plus, I don't do nearly as much off roading and such as I use to, so the Ridgeline is more than capable enough for my occasional trail use, although I probably will do a small suspension lift and slightly larger tires eventually. I had to go with the black edition because I want all the creature comforts for my long commute. I love mine so far and I expect to own it for many years, well into retirement. Nice truck!
Just picked up a 2024 Black Edition and I feel like a kid with a new driver's license looking for excuses to take a trip. 😊
Just bought a 2023 RTL, love how it drives. I'm 65
Hello @bauxgadget , Wondering where you got those cool black/grey and white American flag emblems/adhesives 7:25 ? I love the look of the pair of those emblems and would love to get a set for my truck! Thank you so much!
I’m considering this vehicle and I’m just wondering how tall you are and your weight I’m 6’2 and 230 pounds, glad you’re safe and ok.
I bought a2019 new and have put 50,000 miles on it and know it well. Good vehicle just have to know it isn’t a great camper puller or limitations. Rides better than full size pickups 25 mpg on highway, just do the maintenance on time and enjoy it
Great looking truck! Love the color
Glad you were ok
It's definitely a truck. And I've owned an F-150 and a Tacoma. Just sold my 2021 Tacoma because it just wasn't comfortable to me and all I need is something that can haul a load of mulch, etc on occasion and be comfortable. I don't tow anything and rarely get off road. Will be taking a hard look at the Ridgeline for the next vehicle.
glad you're good brother. stay up!
man i fuck with your vibes... you rock
I have always owned full size pick up trucks. From V6 s10 to a gmc 3500 diesel dump truck. But now I want a truck that is quiet , reliable, comfortable , and that I can fit in . I’m 6’1 and 260lbs ….so I don’t fit too well in a Tacoma . LOL. I also need a truck that I can put all my tools or equipment in the bed . I have a small landscaping company. How big is the bed ? Anybody use these trucks for work ?
Hey Brother glad that you are doing well and thanks for sharing the new video of your new Ridgeline. Without a doubt, I will be acquiring a Ridgeline. I also have a few friends who have the vehicle and there is nothing but smiles associated with their experiences. The other thing that I give Honda high marks on is their commitment to service. I had a Honda EX back in the day. Love the car and the service that came with it. In closing, I know all too well about the Minnesota winters, they are rough. Take care Brother and stay safe on the roadways.
Very well done Brother. I appreciate your efforts and your honesty. I am also looking at the Ridgeline as my next vehicle.
Tell me more about the lift kit
It’s an amazing TRUCK
Glad you’re ok, I had a similar situation in my 2012 Ridgeline, it got totaled by a “distracted driver”, immediately got a new 2013, didn’t think twice, Honda safety is tops. I now have a new 2023 RTL-E, love the Ridgeline.
I have an 07 still running great
How well does the a/c cool the cabin on hot days?
I absolutely love my 2017 RTL-T!!!!!!!!
I have a 2020 Ridgeline and I absolutely love it! The only thing I wish was diffent is the city gas mileage. It can be rough at times.
i just bought 2021 Ridgeline rtl-e love this truck
Awesome. Is that a factory bed cover?
The only reason i did not buy another Ridgeline after my 2020 RTL-E because i went with a 2019 Passport Elite that was the only one on the lot!
Glad you are ok. About a month ago, i wrecked my 2020 Ridgeline because of wet road on the interstate.. after the fact i saw where i had been in the ditch for several hundred feet at highway speed before hitting the end plate on the guardrail and deployed the air bags. While waiting for the fire department and rescue squad i felt my left shoulder tighten up so i went to get x-rays, no broken bones , but a very sore shoulder and a burn on my left forearm from the air bag.
Other than air bags, the truck only had left front corner and right rear body damage with 3 flat tires. The air bags are a 1 and done in my book (and the insurance co.)
Just got a 2023 ridgeline rtl 😊 and thrilled with it. Like it even better than my 2002 Yukon and I kept that truck for 20 years. Fingers crossed this too. You helped in my decision. Thanks! Live in Chicago too and certainly know I 100% agree with this suiting our needs. The side swing out tailgate is standard for us and we also received the remote start at no extra charge. Our neighbor just got a new ram and the tailgate option was an extra charge that he declined. For a woman, to me the funnest accessory is the trunk in the tail bed! No More tipped over groceries, yea. Last week was able to bring home 6’ steel feed troughs for raised bed gardening by angling them in the 5’4” length tail bed. What a versatile and most useful vehicle I’ve ever owned.🎉
I just found a 2021 for 35k USD with 11,000 miles
I have a 2023 RTL-E.Interior is bigger than a mid-size competitor, smaller than full size. I was buying a Tacoma until i test drove this for comparison. This is a great truck. I'm an ironman, outdoorsman, dad, coach, a friend helping people move...and I tow a camper...so, this is a truck doing everything an uncomfortable gas guzzling not-made-in-America Tacoma does.
Just snagged a 2018 touring and love it
I'm waiting on a 2023 and I can't wait! Test drive these and yeah the ride quality is amazing. Great all around vehicle especially in town. Great real world review and nice looking truck!
It’s actually not a truck , the elcomino wasn’t a truck , it’s where they got the idea from just like the avalanche
Has anyone ever looked for body issues ? I can list 20 off top
I just ordered a all black edition. Your truck is awesome. What kind of tonneau cover did you get? It looks so durable and cool!
I like that cover! May have to get me one
I just bought a 2023 rtl and love this thing to death. I have the factory splash guards and they don't do the best at keeping the dirt off the truck. Yours are much closer to the ground and look like they'd do a better job. What brand mud flaps are those?
I have the RTL-E w/ running boards. I don’t like them, nuisance and in the way entering & exiting truck. I’ll be taking mine off.
Very nice looking truck. Curious if you have made any other additions since this video? If so, let us see what you've done. I just bought a new 2023 Ridgeline Black Edition and I love it. Best all round truck I've owned. More than meets all of my truck needs...with comfort!
Just came across your video. Glad you were ok. I just bought THE SAME TRUCK I’m from Chicago and wanted to drive it on bad weather. We got lucky this year. But I love my truck. Maybe will come across one day.
Sweet lookin truck sir..just got a 23 ridgeline..I honestly feel its the best vehicle decision I've made in my 49 years
I would not buy. It. But i drove it several times. As mercedes mechanic nothing make me more smile than lift up honda its like a kiddy buggy down the hill ..anywho. Ridgeline blew my mechanic mind. And you are absolutely right. Marvel engineering. Excellent. Ride. .
I have a used 2020 Sport, and it's the truck for me. I did plenty of research before I ultimately made the decision to purchase this amazing mid sized truck. It does everything I need it to do and more. The Ridgeline is a fantastic daily driver, and it works great when you are in the snow.
It's been a year since this video was uploaded. I watched all of your other Ridgeline videos, and I was glad to hear how happy you were with both of your trucks, and I hope you are doing better and have fully recovered. I'd love to get an video someday. Take care sir.
Thanks for taking the time to review the Ridgeline, I am right there with you, currently drive a 2010 F150 looking to downsize to mid-size and have test-driven Ridgeline and Frontier Ridgeline interior room blows all mid-size away.
