Never put your hand behind the drill when you dril.
Methodical, tidy, efficient, well organised. Awesome.
..not to mention no eye protection
Watching this video sold me on buying my pipes from you. True craftsmanship
Work ethic and skill. Give that man a BIG payrise!
that kid needs a raise, excellent work sir.
Clean and orderly shop! I'm privileged to watch a craftsman!
9:55 allen key skill 99
I am amazed, like damn I would've dropped it 10 times
Alan Bane what did you just say?
Playing it cool for the camera. and why is their a guy in the office dancing with a helmet on is head lol😂😂
So is that the way you use an Allen key....SMH...I have being doing it wrong all this years.
I legit thought I was the only one who noticed the skill level. (God mode activated!!)
Just received my stainless muffler to go on 13 GSXR 1000. You have a happy customer in USA, thank you!
After watching this vid, boss told to the worker "Ok, now I know how fast You can work" =D
Joven mis respetos , en mi rancho decimos que en la forma de agarrar el taco se mira al que es tragón y a Usted se le nota mucha seguridad en lo que está haciendo y mucha desision felicidades joven !!!
this guys been doing it for a bit. good job man!! Not a wasted movement and he knows where all his tools are without even thinking about it. I do agree on the safety glasses though. wear em!!!!
impressive!
That dude should be the employee of the month! No bs! Just doing what he does best!
If I worked there I'd make my very own custom exhaust and no one in the world would dare out-exhaust me, but if they tried, believe me they'd be exhausted from exhaustion
I think you may have exhausted the exhaust jokes there, mate!
Outstanding craftsmanship young man!! I can see his desire to perfect his trade on each and every system he hand makes!
I don't think this lad is angry or bored, he's being filmed and concentrating on doing a good job. Ok, the health & safety warlords are all over this video but the final product looks great. Where do Yoshimura, Akra and the rest find their £500+ price tags??
Believe that as much as you like, the truth is anyone can make an exhaust for racing, I have basic tools and a grinder and due to damaging my system I took it apart yesterday and two hours later I have a stubby de-cat cut down race zorst which sounds the biz and the bike now 'breathes' properly, the Akropvic zorst for my bike is pretty much a direct copy of its original kawasaki headers and an 'end can' straight through, this one is the same. I bet you have logos on all your clothes churned out in sweat shops in Indonesia, stop swallowing the bullshit corporate crap.
Years of research and development for N/A engines to have linear power bands. High rpm high compression engines with valve overlap take a lot of engineering and math to figure out what works..plus real world race testing. Any retard can slap together a pipe and can with fiberglass. Also my out of production rare yoshi duplex system was fully serviced for$70 or I could do it myself for $40 and purchase the parts directly from yoshi..great company and they have my respect for user serviceability and customer support. Other brands I have no idea but Yoshimura doesn't fuck around.
@@fornicateu2 Put your can on a dyno and then compare that to a proper built one.. its not always just marketing.. some are perfectly built to stop reversion and have proper flow.
The lads name is Dean Court. He rode the ManxGrand Prix for a 6th place finish. He lives in the USA now.
And that might just be the exhaust that is currently on my GSR 750 and it sounds great!
Respect his skill....and his passion..
Such a happy friendly looking chap.
This kids poetry in motion
non ho capito la tecnica ,non sono competente.
Ma la serietà e la passione di questo ragazzo è ammirevole!! BRAVISSIMO!!!
This is exactly the kind of job i could do like forever..... 💙💙
Nice to see people still crafting by hand.
Reminds me of that scene from Schindler’s List when the old man shows how quick he can make a hinge, but only has a couple in a box for a days work ..lol
Give that dude the employee the month award!!!
all that sounds, so satisfying
Very skilled and fast craftsman! I'd love to work in that workstation!
I'm glad to see young people now what they do!!!
You have got it down pat brother well done.
Safety Glasses and Ear Plugs young man! Nice job.
Man.Guy is Awesome !Such concentration and skills, even when being watched.
Nice! I really appreciate there is still some professional crafting alive in a private western company. And the price is not that bad! I might just place an order for my Honda X-11 soon and support european industry instead of chinese :)
a young boy who shows that he likes his work
Give this kid a raise
This reminded me of the scene in the movie Schindler's List where the poor guy was told to make a hinge while the officer watched and timed him. (Schindler's List (5/9) Movie CLIP - A Small Pile of Hinges (1993) HD)
Beautiful highly skilled piece of work! Just worried about the lack of eye protection from hot metal swarf coming off the drilling though!!
Eye protection buddy....PPE is always 1st...nice job
Here comes the clipboard 📋 holder
Noah.Lytle312 😂😂😂😂😂😂
looks a nice clean workshop to be fair and how do all these people who comment think an exhaust is made lol, numpties who have no idea what it costs to run a business and if these come out at about £230 i think this is bloody good value for money.
ps one going on my blade race bike
Kaitlyn Joyce
.
Nice to see some good old “hand-made” British engineering surviving in these mass produced times !
Angler fish
Im glad he built my pipe for my Trophy.thank you my man.
Brilliant.Lovely job.
Nice work and very skilled
10 lat Takiej pracy i można wylądować w wariatkowie jak robot
He probably made the pipewerx decat linkpipe for my KTM Duke 390.... it's fucking perfect.
Goddam that was a satisfying video to watch. A real craftsman at work.
I really want to give this guy a big hug! In case you are wondering why? He's drilling towards his hand, no safety glasses, smelling all the welding fumes, fiber glass fiber flying all over place! OMG, I feel really bad for him :(((((((((((((((((((((((
Am from Indonesian... student from in Vidio... thanks for sharing video great..auto subscribe
If that’s stainless steel, it’s a bloody good drill bit.
A lot of comments about not enjoying his job, no one enjoys their job I don't care how good it is when you have to do it 8.5 hours a day.
ye, looks like fabrication slave another one.
Its usually 12 here.
I support unmarried mothers in thailand. I love my job.....im having it bang off!
I love my job, i work 12:00 till 1:00 With an hour for lunch break.
Young blood doing a nice job
solid bro, pretty neat
Clarkson would love to work here! Lots of hammers!
Awesome clean workshop !
sometimes is not how easy he assemble, he has more things around, like jigs, punched parts, punching machines, punch dies, exhaust design, etc.. more cost involved in manufacturing.
No coffee breaks, cell phones, internet or Unions. Just efficient work. Making products. Increasing GDP of the country.
If this kid ever looses his sight he'll still be in a job.
Like someone who keeps his work area clean and tidy. It's half the job I was told.
There is a reason Akrapovic and Yoshimura don't show you how their exhausts are made.....they don't want you to know you are paying £700 for a 10 minute job + sticker.
Yes and no, these pieces have not been made by the kid, I do not say that the margins are not high but there are many more costs than 10 minutes of assembly
@@banxa ill stick to the akra copies then, cos they only took 2 mins to make and cost £35.
Buy cheap buy twice. That has always been my motto.
Because they don't use shit Chinese components, Pipe Werx stuff is cheap shit. like that shit Blue flame used to knock out.
I weld my exhaust with Tig welding and there is much more work than you may know.....
Mass production
This boy is total profesional
Dude, please protect your eyes!
Flake off
When you buy yoshimura, akrap....you have to pay also secretary, assistent of secretary, supervisor of the secretary, deputy of supervisor's secretary, manager of supervisor secretary, r&d assistants, cca 586 managers......
Here you can add camera man too🤪
Svaka čast majstore!!!
gostei do vídeo
Very nice work
Like that scene in Schindler's list with the inmate making hinges...
Yes. Without the defective German made pistol.
Area81parts
Gun or bullets must have been made by another camp inmate ;-)
Dude is moving pretty fast only cus the boss is filming. Once the boss leaves another story lol
Somehow I think not! His economy of movement shows a lot of forethought and athleticism.
i hoped at the very end he would remove the protecting paper and show it in all its glory.
H&S could be better (Don't mock; it's his eyes not mine) but what a skilled worker. Wasn't sure what exhaust to buy but watching this, my KTM is defo getter a Pipe Werx exhaust. Great job.
Neo from the matrix building your exhaust.
Very nice, I would suggest a pair of safety glasses.
4:37 look at window :D
Must be on his stress relief break ...lol
ja and the clock ;) i bet 4 is quitting time.
Health and safety would have a field day with this lot
For all the dimwits saying "oh he's working so fast and no love and why are we paying so much"...there's probably years of R&D done (which is actually the majority of what you're paying for) and it's a production line, you make a few hundred exactly the same exhausts and see how you care for every single one. Dunning Kruger Effect runs high on youtube.
There would have been many prototypes before final design. Exhausts don't only direct gases rearwards, they must clear fixed and moving motorcycle components, hold up to rider abuse, be reasonably easy to install, and not interfere with rear wheel R&I. Brackets and mounts should not crack under normal vibration. The finished product should be tard-resistant to reduce "clueless user" complaints.
Yes your right people only see the finish product
The muffler in the video has no r&d in it. The most basic exhaust muffler you can find.
They're good too, about 8 horses worth.
wow... i didnt know michael cera moonlighting as an exhaust builder
And thats why I always buy British if possible. Proper job.
NICE VIDEO!! Where are your Safety Glasses..???
great job dude!
Yes it’s a tidy job but it’s assembly rather than craftsmanship anyone could learn to do it , but it’s still a good product and well done
And you wonder why some exhaust manufacturers charge a small fortune.
WOW , he's got a boiler suit on ! Good man.....check out Bills Pipes MX2 works pipe video.... engineering bad boy No.1 when it comes to basic safety awarness
Do you remember the hinge making scene in Schindlers list?
I'm getting one !
Very simple job !
Nice job!
How do people thumbs down this?
Custom product..its fast work.. Good job
Nice work 👍😊
Drilling can be done replaced by piercing operation with indexing. Which speed up the process & eliminate the burr after drilling.,so zero field complaint W r t this operation
The level of stupidity in other comments is impressive. Other than the need for eye protection their production process is fine and if you watch closely the video shows useful tips for fabbing your own parts. I downloaded the vid for reference. The fixtures are well thought out. Also notice how he spins the Allen key. It's fast, less effort than picking up an electric or pneumatic tool, and hand-torquing avoids stripping threads.
If anyone in this thread can do better for less money they should have at it. What the whingers don't see are the MANY processes and expenses essential to running a shop.
Speed and efficiency are essential to turning a profit. If you want to wank over artisanal processes which don't add function or quality then consult a bespoke pipe builder and prepare to pay accordingly or do it yourself. As plumbing goes these systems are fine, and ALL exhaust systems from a lawnmower to a gas turbine or jet engine are basically plumbing.
yea allen key technique is on form. very methodical with an obvious plan of production
yup! spinning the allen key. I thought I'm familliar with tools but...
do you wear a helmet and knee pads to bed? The guy used eye protection when it was needed.
Drag a stick, drag feed the filler rod and chase it with a tig, always work a mig forward unless your doing overhead on flat substrate hot gas rises, flux cloud lifts upward so pulling away from the puddle deprives the weld from its protective shield, requiring you to crank up the regulator and blow a bunch of argon into the shop. I know you were just tacking but I wanted to put that out there, it's good advice.
Nice, great job!
"BRAVO!" ... 10:34 He said something ...!
I would made a device to mark and drill all holes before I put on the brackets.
I love to make exhausts all day long😂👍🏻
I like that nice job well done.
Good job!
Great skills👍
going to buy one for mt10 skilled bloke
Let me ask, what kind of fabric is he cut in clip 1:24 ? If anyone knows, please answer for me ..
Nice...good job mike
