    Let somebody tell me if I'm wrong. They have a lot of scrap metal pipes and bars. Isn't it easier to build a press to cut holes instead of hammer it with chisel day after day?

      Yeah but who would pay for scrap the scrap which u talking about is much more expensive to them ..they say it's original made in Japan scrap so it's more valuable than new.
      And second why waste time to build the press machine make to more an the time you build the machine and the hammer guy make a hardly 9 to 10 bucks a day so it's cheap and accurate than press machine

    Everyone seems to be making fun of these guys but believe it or not everything used to be done like this once. If you had a great great grandad he will tell you but he is dead and so is the mindset that sustainable manufacturing for your needs is ok. Its all about quick money these days. that same muffler today with a modern factory would take maybe a couple of minutes to make but the waste and energy used would be a lot more that what these guys use for the same result..

      At the end of the day it's there choice in a lot of these workshops you can sometimes see ppe lying around covered in dust and I've seen it myself both in Pakistan and India.

They appear to be the same size as in the first baffle. Lol. The exhaust gasses cool down. Lol. And the holes need to be smaller to have any muffling effect in the second chamber. Lol.
      Damn. This Millenialeese is a hard language to master.

      I would say that is pretty much what the mufflers I have bought to my old tractors looks like. They last at least 15 years outdoor work here in Sweden, but I often break them before in the forest.
      Not all mufflers are under a car.

      @@hnorrstrom I doubt these mufflers would last much more than a couple of years along our Swedish roads with the salt. :D The ones you're used to are probably at least aluminized or zink coated. Forestry is a whole other business where they're mounted up from all the much and get a chance to dry out properly under use.
